本实用新型涉及一种用于TN/STN液晶模块的LED背光源,它具有一个内腔表面涂敷有反射或增光膜的矩形背光源盒体,在盒体内侧两端或四端各设有一块载有超高亮度二极管管芯的光源电路板,在盒体顶面贴覆有柔光片。该背光源以少量的超高亮度二极管管芯作侧光源,利用盒式内腔表面反射层汇聚和反射绝大多数光线并使之投射到需要背光照明的顶面上,将光线的泄漏量降至几乎为“零”,不仅极大地提高了光源的利用率,也大幅度降低了背光源器件的成本,同时还显著减少了背光源的体积和重量。

本实用新型属于光学系统元件技术领域,涉及一种用于TN/STN液晶模块的LED背光源。
背景技术
目前广泛用于TN/STN液晶模块的LED背光源有两种。一种是盒底部光源直接照明型背光源,采用普通亮度二极管管芯光源,点阵排列,这种背光源照明背光面积越大,需要的管芯数量就越多,其成本几乎随面积的增大成倍增长,且高度必须为4.5~5.0毫米;另一种是外部侧光源背光源,采用导光板导光及折射光线照明,但其在实际使用中大部分的光线并没有投射到需背光照明的面上,而是从侧面和底面泄漏掉了。
实用新型内容
本实用新型的目的在于克服现有技术在使用结构上存在的缺陷,提供一种结构简单、成本低、仅用少量二极管管芯即可高效率照亮背光照明面的液晶模块背光源。
用于实现上述发明目的的技术解决方案是这样的:所提供的液晶模块背光源具有一个内腔表面涂敷有反射膜或增光膜的矩形背光源盒体,在盒体内侧两端或四端各设有一块载有超高亮度二极管管芯的光源电路板,在盒体顶面贴覆有柔光片。本实用新型由于采用在背光源盒体内侧面设置光源电路板的结构,以少量的超高亮度二极管管芯作侧光源,利用盒式内腔表面反射层汇聚和反射绝大多数光线并使之投射到需要背光照明的顶面上,将光线的泄漏量降至几乎为“零”,不仅极大地提高了光源的利用率,也大幅度降低了背光源器件的成本,且背光面积越大,成本降低幅度也越大,同时还显著减少了背光源的体积和重量,使背光源得以变得更薄、更轻。

具体实施方式
参见附图,该液晶模块背光源由矩形背光源盒体3、光源电路板2和柔光片1三部分构件组成,在盒体3内侧两端(或四端)均设有定位槽,用于插设光源电路板2。在图1所示的装配实施例中,先在背光源盒体3内腔表面上涂敷一层光亮的金属反射膜,再把加工好的载有超高亮度二极管管芯的光源电路板2插入对应的定位槽内,最后将柔光片1贴覆在背光源盒体3顶面。

Claims (2)

1、一种液晶模块背光源,其特征在于具有一个内腔表面涂敷有反射膜或增光膜的矩形背光源盒体(3),在盒体(3)内侧的两端或四端各设有一块载有超高亮度二极管管芯的光源电路板(2),在盒体(3)顶面贴覆有柔光片(1)。
2、如权利要求1所述的液晶模块背光源,其特征是在盒体内侧的两端或四端均设有定位槽,在各定位槽内分别插装有一块光源电路板(2)。
