Abstract

一种机动车在冷启动前的发动机预热器。它用普通民用电源,利用其内置离心泵和电热元件加热发动机防冻液。装置包括壳体、叶轮、电机、电热元件,在壳体上有进水口和出水口,叶轮正对进水口并与壳体形成一离心泵结构。装置的体积小,能够非常方便地安装在机动车上。

本实用新型涉及一种机动车发动机预热器。
背景技术
通常的带有循环泵的发动机预热装置由相对独立的三部分组成:加热腔、泵和电机。此三部分一般是沿电机轴的方向按加热腔、泵、电机或泵、加热腔、电机的顺序排列的,如ZL99223027.6、ZL98240295.3。此类装置的缺点是装置的体积比较大,在机动车上安装比较困难。
发明内容
本实用新型的目的是提供一种发动机预热器。它的体积比现有的同类装置要小得多,能够更简便地安装在机动车上。
本实用新型的目的是这样来实现的:装置包括壳体、叶轮、电机、电热元件等。其中,壳体是一个密封的腔体,壳体上有进水口和出水口,壳体的内腔通过进水口和出水口与发动机防冻液相通。电机由转子、定子铁芯、线圈、电机轴等组成。电机在电机壳内,电机壳为壳体的一部分。转子和电机轴在转子壳内,发动机冷却液可以流进转子壳内,电机壳与转子壳一起把定子铁芯及线圈与发动机冷却液隔开。叶轮装在电机轴上。各部分在电机轴的方向上按进水口、叶轮、电机、电热元件、出水口的顺序排列。叶轮正对进水口并与进水口附近的壳体内壁及电机壳形成一离心泵结构。电机壳与壳体内壁之间在电机轴直径的方向上有空间,由进水口经叶轮泵进壳体内的水可以通过此空间从电机壳旁边流进电热元件所在的空间。电机定子的形状为U形或称凹形,定子有两个磁极,转子为永磁材料。
由于采用上述方案,预热器的体积可缩小许多,能够非常方便地安装在机动车上,在电机工作时,因为转子和电机轴被转子壳封闭在发动机冷却液里,所以冷却液不会泄漏到壳体外面。

具体实施方式
在图1和图2所示的发动机预热器中,叶轮(5)在进水口(1)和电机壳(4)之间,电机在叶轮(5)和电热元件(12)之间,电热元件(12)在电机壳(4)和出水口(2)之间,各部分在电机轴(8)的方向上排列。当电机转动时,叶轮(5)将发动机冷却液泵进壳体(3)内,发动机冷却液经电机壳(4)与壳体(3)内壁之间的空间流向电热元件(12),经电热元件(12)加热后,由出水口(2)流出。在一个实施例中,电热元件(12)采用电热管,功率为1500W,定子铁芯(10)由钢板冲片叠加而成,电机功率为12W。

Claims (5)

1.发动机预热器,包括壳体、叶轮、电机、电热元件,其中壳体有进水口和出水口,叶轮、电机、电热元件在壳体内,电机由定子铁芯、线圈、转子、转子壳、电机轴、电机壳组成,转子装在电机轴上,叶轮装在电机轴上,其特征是:各部分在电机轴的轴线方向上按进水口、叶轮、电机、电热元件、出水口的顺序布置,叶轮在壳体内正对进水口并与进水口附近的壳体内壁及电机壳形成离心泵结构,电机壳与壳体内壁之间在电机轴直径的方向上有空间,此空间使叶轮所在的空间与电热元件所在的壳体内的空间相通。
2.根据权利要求1所述的发动机预热器,其特征是:壳体形成一个与转子壳内腔相通并通过进水口和出水口与发动机冷却液相通的封闭的腔,转子壳是电机壳的一部分,电机壳是壳体的一部分。
3.根据权利要求1所述的发动机预热器,其特征是:定子铁芯的形状为U形或称凹形,定子铁芯有两个磁极。
4.根据权利要求1所述的发动机预热器,其特征是:壳体内的冷却液可以流进转子壳内腔内。
5.根据权利要求1所述的发动机预热器,其特征是:转子为永磁材料。
