Abstract

【技术领域】
本实用新型是关于一种电连接器,尤指一种具有导引臂,以防止与对接连接器对接时插接错误的电连接器。
【背景技术】
连接一种电子装置和另一种电子装置的电连接器,如连接电脑的磁盘驱动器与扩充连接埠的电连接器已被我们熟知。该装置包括一设于扩充连接端口凹陷部位的插座连接器和插入插座连接器的插头连接器。这种插接过程通常不便于观察,因而有时可能导致误插。因此,在插头连接器上设置了导引柱,而在插座连接器上相应设置了导引臂用以接收导引柱。导引柱和导引臂的配合作用可以确保两连接器的正确对接。
当两连接器相互配合并电性连接时,为了确保相关的电子装置不会因静电释放而遭到破坏,在两连接器的信号端子相接触之前必须提供一种接地方式,传统的方式是插头连接器沿着导引柱设置接地端子,当导引柱插入插座连接器的导引臂时,在两连接器之间建立了一个接地路径,从而可以有效的减少由于静电释放而造成的损坏。
设于扩充连接端口凹陷部分的插座连接器是安装于扩充连接端口内的电路板上,这种插座连接器可垂直安装于电路板上,且其后表面被电路板支撑,或者以正角方式安装于与插座连接器后表面垂直的电路板上。当插头连接器组入插座连接器时,插入力会导致插座连接器有向后表面运动的趋势。在垂直的安装方式中,插入力能够直接被电路板抵消,而在正角安装方式中,插入力通过焊接于电路板上的连接器端子传递到电路板。
通常,导引臂设于连接器相对的两端,靠一较薄弱的连接部与连接器相连,且导引臂并无端子的稳定支撑,从而导致插座连接器整体强度不足,当不正确的配合导致不恰当的作用力施加于导引臂时,导引臂极易与连接器本体断裂分离。
显然,增加导引臂或导引柱的强度会大大降低维修或维护连接器的费用。
【发明内容】
本实用新型的目的是在于提供一种具有机械强化结构导引臂,并可避免因结构脆弱而被损坏的电连接器。
本实用新型的另一目的是在于提供一种具有强化的结构,可减少意外损坏的电连接器。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的:提供一种与电路板连接的电连接器,其包括一纵长延伸的绝缘本体及容置于其中的导电端子。绝缘本体设有一与对接连接器配合的前对接面及一相对的后表面,导电端子延伸出后表面形成向电路板方向垂直延伸的焊接尾部,绝缘本体的纵长向两端分别设有向前方延伸的导引臂,每个导引臂设有一与对接连接器的导引柱相组配的导引槽。导引槽内设有接地端子,该接地端子与电路板电性连接以使对接连接器导引柱的相应接地端子实现接地作用,绝缘本体纵长向两端分别向后延伸出一分隔壁,形成一容纳导电端子焊接尾部的空间,绝缘本体的两端在导引臂的后部与相应分隔壁之间设置一肋部,以强化导引臂,减少导引臂与绝缘本体间的连接部遭到破坏的风险。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型具有以下优点:在导引臂的后部与相应分隔壁之间设置有三角状构形的肋部,由此可强化导引臂,避免导引臂与绝缘本体之间的连接部在与对接连接器配合时遭到破坏。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1和图2,本实用新型电连接器10包括纵长延伸的绝缘本体12及容置于该绝缘本体12的导电端子14,绝缘本体12装配于电路板(未图示)上,导电端子14与电路板电性导接。
绝缘本体12的前方具有一对接埠,该对接埠具有一前对接面16用于和对接连接器(未图示)相配合,且前对接面16设有导电端子14与对接连接器相应的导电端子电性导接。绝缘本体12还设置有一与前对接面16相对的后表面18。导电端子14延伸出绝缘本体12的后表面18,每一个导电端子14具有一个垂直于电路板方向延伸的焊接尾部20,该焊接尾部20焊接于电路板上,从而实现导电端子14与电路板间的电性导接。
绝缘本体12的纵长向两端各设有一导引臂22,该导引臂22通过连接部24与绝缘本体12相连接,且向前方延伸超出前对接面16,以确保在导电端子14与对接连接器的导电端子电性导接之前导引臂22与对接连接器接触。每个导引臂22设有一导引槽26,该导引槽26设有镶嵌于其中的接地端子28,接地端子28的末端30向电路板延伸并焊接于电路板上。
从绝缘本体12纵长向两端分别向后延伸出一分隔壁32,且在两分隔壁32之间形成一容纳导电端子14焊接尾部20的空间。在两分隔壁32之间设有一间隔装置33,用以分隔各焊接尾部20。
在每个导引臂22后部和相应的分隔壁32之间设有一用于强化导引臂22结构的肋部34,该肋部34为三角状构形。当对接连接器的导引柱(未图示)以不正确的方式插入导引槽26之中时,该肋部34有助于抵消作用于导引臂22上的插入力,如此可大大减少导引臂22与绝缘本体12间的连接部24遭到破坏的风险。

Claims (9)

1.一种电连接器,包括绝缘本体和导电端子,其特征在于:绝缘本体具有前对接面及后表面,沿其纵长向的相对两端分别设有向前延伸且超出前对接面的导引臂,以导引该电连接器与对接连接器相配合,导电端子容置于绝缘本体内且部分垂直延伸出绝缘本体后表面形成焊接尾部,在绝缘本体与导引臂之间设有强化装置,该强化装置至少可部分抵消该电连接器与对接连接器对接时所承受的插入力。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:绝缘本体的纵长向两端向后延伸出相对的分隔壁,两分隔壁之间用于容置端子的焊接尾部,强化装置包括一连接导引臂后部与相应分隔壁的肋部。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:两分隔壁之间设有一间隔装置,用以分隔各焊接尾部。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:导引臂上设有用于收容对接连接器导引柱的导引槽。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:导引槽内设有一接地端子,用以与对接连接器的接地端子电性导接。
6.一种电连接器,包括绝缘本体和导电端子,其特征在于:绝缘本体包括前对接面、后表面及相对的两端,每一端部分别连接有一导引臂,该导引臂向前延伸超出前对接面,导引臂设有与对接连接器的导引柱对接的导引槽,以导引电连接器与对接连接器的对接,自绝缘本体的两端向后延伸出两分隔壁,并在二者之间形成一空间,导电端子,是容置于绝缘本体内并部分垂直延伸出后表面且在两分隔壁之间的空间内延伸形成焊接尾部,在每个导引臂与相应的分隔壁之间设有一肋部,用以强化二者的连接以抵消该电连接器与对接连接器对接时所受的插入力。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:导引槽内设有一接地端子,用以与对接连接器的接地端子电性导接。
8.一种电连接器,包括纵长形绝缘本体及容置于其中的若干导电端子,其特征在在于:绝缘本体包括一纵长对接埠及设置于两端之导引臂,对接埠与导引臂之间设有连接部,自上述连接部分别向后延伸出一对分隔壁,并且每一分隔壁于上述纵长方向两端向远离导引臂方向延伸,以与伸出绝缘本体后部之“Z”形接地端子相适应,在分隔壁与相应之导引臂后表面之间的折角内,于绝缘本体上部设有一肋部,上述接地端子之垂直尾部位于肋部下方,该肋部可提高绝缘本体之强度。
9.如权利要求8所述的电连接器,其特征在于:肋部为三角状构形。
