Abstract

本实用新型公开了一种灯管不会发黑和荧光粉老化得慢的长寿命荧光粉管。这种荧光灯管内有一根透紫隔离玻璃管,将管内两端的灯丝电极隔离屏蔽。当给这种荧光灯管加上工作电压后,由于透紫隔离玻璃管的隔离屏蔽作用,阴极溅射物和杂质气体不会污染荧光粉。所以,灯管不会发黑和荧光粉老化得慢,灯管寿命长。

荧光灯管
本实用新型涉及一种荧光灯管,特别是长寿命荧光灯管。
长期以来,公知公用的荧光灯管(俗称日光灯管)由一根内壁涂有荧光粉的玻璃管,其两端各装有预热用的灯丝电极,管内充有汞和惰性气体等构成,当荧光灯管加上工作电压后,灯管启动,管内气体发生辉光放电,产生的紫外线辐射灯管内壁上荧光粉发出荧光,这时灯就亮了。这种荧光灯管显色性好,光效高,特别是近年来用三基稀土荧光粉代替卤磷酸钙荧光粉制成的荧光灯管,节能高效,深受欢迎,但是这种荧光灯管普遍长期存在着两个最大问题,一是灯管容易发黑,尤其是两端发黑得最厉害;二是荧光粉过早老化,此两者导致这种荧光灯管寿命短,成为人们长期渴望解决的问题。
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种灯管不会发黑,荧光粉老化慢,长寿命的荧光灯管。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的:在普通的荧光灯菅内的两灯丝电极之外套装有透紫玻璃管。该透紫玻璃管将两端的灯丝电极隔离屏蔽。当给本实用新型荧光灯管加上工作电压后,灯管启动,发生辉光放电,产生253.7nm的紫外线经透紫隔离玻璃管透出辐射到荧光粉上发出荧光。这样,阴极溅射物不会溅射到灯管两端部的荧光粉上,避免了灯管发黑过早老化。
由于该实用新型荧光灯管辉光放电是发生在透紫隔离玻璃管之内,阴极溅射物,杂质气体,钠离子等都被隔离,不会污染荧光粉,所以本实用新型荧光灯管不会变黑且荧光粉老化得慢,从而延长了灯管的寿命。
下面结合图1、图2进一步说明实施方案。

图2是本实用新型实施的一个特例。
图中:1、灯丝电极,2、透紫隔离玻璃管,3、荧光粉,4、玻璃管壳。
根据图1展示的荧光灯管结构图和照明需要可以制成各种型号、大小规格的荧光灯管。实施中,本实用新型荧光灯管玻璃管壳(4)应采用透光率高且对253.7nm紫外线反射能力强的玻璃材料;荧光粉(3)选用三基稀土荧光粉为佳,透紫隔离玻璃管(2)选用透射253.7nm紫外线能力强,而透射158.0nm紫外线能力弱的透紫玻璃为佳;灯丝电极(1)的制造材料、工艺与生产公知公用的荧光灯管相同,无特殊要求。实施中也可以根据图2所示不用一根整条的透紫隔离玻璃管(2)将整个辉光放电隔离,而是用两小段(15厘米长)透紫玻璃管(2)分别将灯管两端的灯丝电极(1)罩住,仅防止阴极溅射物污染荧光粉,以避免灯管两端发黑。

Claims (2)

1.一种荧光灯管,其特征是:在普通的荧光灯管内的两灯丝电极之外套装有透紫玻璃管。
2.根据权利要求1所述的荧光灯管,其特征在于透紫隔离玻璃管也可以不是一条封闭的通管将整个灯丝电极罩住,使之与荧光粉隔离,而是用两段透紫玻璃管分别罩住荧光灯两端的灯丝电极。
