Abstract

一种具有硬质合金衬底1与超硬材料层2的超硬复合片,其特点是:硬质合金衬底1在与超硬材料层2的接合面上开有槽3,二者彼此深入、啮合,相互补强,槽3呈环形或螺旋形或直槽形或它们的组合形,均布于接合面,槽3的断面呈圆弧形或三角形或梯形,邻面间由圆弧过渡,与接合面为平面的情形相比,衬底1与超硬层2的结合面面积大,层间结合更牢固,抗冲击性能高三倍以上,切削负荷能力强,特别适于制作在恶劣条件下使用的各种工具。

Description

超硬复合片
本实用新型涉及超硬粉料及其少量结合剂以硬质合金为衬底在超高压高温下制造的复合片,属于工具材料制造技术领域。
超硬材料包括金刚石和立方氮化硼。金刚石在所有已知物质中硬度最高,立方氮化硼硬度仅次于金刚石,但其耐热性和对Fe族金属的化学稳定性更高,二者还有一系列优异的其他特性。硬质合金的抗弯强度与冲击韧性又优于超硬材料烧结体。因此,由超硬粉料及其结合剂以硬质合金为衬底在超高压高温条件下制造的超硬复合片,有着优异的综合性能,在石油地质钻头、机加工工具上被广泛地用作刀片。法国专利FR2498962改进了复合片的结合剂,提高了超硬层与硬质合金衬底间的结合牢度,但其二层间结合面是平面,面积小,结合力不能保证其在恶劣工况下正常工作。例如制成钻头钻进坚硬岩层或夹层地层时,其金刚石层在较大切削力和冲击力作用下会全部或部分地从硬质合金衬底上剥落。制作其他机械加工工具时,也会发生类似问题。因此,现有超硬复合片的抗冲击性能和切削负荷能力尚不能满足恶劣工况下的使用要求。
本实用新型目的是改进超硬复合片的结构,以加大超硬层与衬底层的结合面积和结合力,充分发挥各层的优异特性,设计一种能在恶劣工况下承受冲击与切削负荷的超硬复合片。
所设计超硬复合片(图1)具有硬质合金衬底1和超硬材料层2,其特点是:硬质合金衬底1与超硬材料层2的接合面上开有槽3,硬质合金衬底1与超硬材料层2彼此深入、啮合,相互补强;硬质合金衬底接合面上所开糟3呈环形或螺旋形或直槽形或者它们的组合形,均布于表面;这些槽3的断面呈圆弧形或三角形或梯形,相邻面均由过渡圆弧连接,以免应力集中。这些槽3可以用机械加工法或模压法形成。复合片是超硬粉料与少量结合剂以硬质合金为衬底在5.5GPa以上超高压1400℃以上高温下制造的成形烧结体,其中的超硬材料仍保持有烧结前所具备的各种优异特性,而且超硬粉料之间及其与结合剂和硬质合金衬底1之间的结合均甚牢固。超硬材料层2中的超硬粉料可为金刚石或立方氮化硼或者金刚石与立方氮化硼的混合料。超硬粉料的种类宜据复合片用途选定:有色金属、非金属如石材等加工用的复合片,宜用金刚石;铁族金属及其合金加工用的复合片,宜选用立方氮化硼。超硬材料层2中的结合剂可为选自Fe、Co、Ni、Mn、Al、B、Si、WC、TiC、TiN、Al2O3、AlN的至少一种物质。由于硬质合金衬底1的接合面上开有槽3,大幅度增加了硬质合金衬底1与超硬材料层2之间的结合面积,因而其二层之间的结合力远大于接合面为平面时的情形。这种结构使超硬材料层2与硬质合金衬底1之间相互深入,彼此啮合,强化了衬底对超硬层的补强作用,从而进一步提高了超硬复合片的抗冲击性能和切削负荷能力。
因此,与现有技术比较,本实用新型超硬复合片具有下列优点:硬质合金衬底1与超硬材料层2的结合面面积大,层间结合力更强,衬底层对超硬层的补强作用更好,抗冲击性能提高了三倍以上,切削负荷能力也更强,能在恶劣工况下承受冲击和切削负荷作用。
图1是本实用新型超硬复合片结构示意图。
实施例1在表面予制有断面呈圆弧形的直槽的WC-Co硬质合金衬底1(图1)上,按照通常的金刚石复合片制造工艺,放置一层由1克40μm金刚石微粉与20%重量含量1μm Co微粉的混合料,在超高压高温下合成尺寸Φ19.5×8mm的金刚石复合片。将此复合片在磨床上与砂轮作相对磨耗试验,结果表明:它与TL80Z2-AP100×16×20砂轮的相对磨耗比大于105。将此复合片制成车刀,在车床上车削带槽的花岗岩棒时,若工件转速和走刀量相同,其切削深度可比现有复合片车刀提高四倍以上。
实旋例2利用实施例1所述衬底和结合剂,但以粒度10μm的0.5克立方氮化硼微粉为超硬材料,按通常的立方氮化硼复合片制造工艺在超高压高温下合成Φ13.3×3立方氮化硼复合片。将此复合片在磨床上与砂轮作相对磨耗试验表明,它与TL80Z2AP100×16×20砂轮的相对磨耗比大于104。制成车刀后在车床上车削带槽的淬火钢棒,在工件转速和走刀量相同情况下,其切深可比原有复合片车刀提高三倍以上。

Claims (3)

1.一种具有硬质合金衬底(1)和超硬材料层(2)的超硬复合片,其特征在于:硬质合金衬底(1)在与超硬材料层(2)的接合面上开有槽(3),硬质合金衬底(1)与超硬材料层(2)彼此深入、啮合,相互补强。
2.按照权利要求1所述的复合片,其特征在于:硬质合金衬底接合面上所开槽(3)呈环形或螺旋形或直槽形或者它们的组合形,均布于表面。
3.按照权利要求1所述的复合片,其特征在于:硬质合金衬底接合面上所开槽(3)的断面呈圆弧形或三角形或梯形,相邻面间均由过渡圆弧连接。
