Embodiment 1 >
Fig. 1 is a perspective view schematically showing a humidifying device 1 according to the present embodiment. Fig. 2 is an enlarged perspective view showing the vicinity of the fixing frame. Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the vicinity of the mount from a different angle than fig. 2. Fig. 4 is an exploded perspective view schematically showing the fixing frame. Fig. 5A and 5B are diagrams for explaining holding the water valve assembly to the mount.
The humidifying device 1 includes a housing H. The housing H is provided therein with a humidifying element E, a water tank 10, a drain pan 20 and a fixing frame 30, and the humidifying element and the water tank 10 are disposed above the drain pan 20. The water tank 10 has a water outlet pipe 11.
The humidifying device 1 further comprises a water valve assembly 40 connected to the water supply and discharge pipe. The water valve assembly 40 includes a valve body 41 and a motor portion 42 mounted to the valve body.
The humidifier 1 may include an electric component box, not shown, which is provided in a casing, for example, and in which components such as a circuit board for controlling the operation of the humidifier 1 are provided.
The case H is substantially rectangular parallelepiped-shaped with a bottom wall portion, a top wall portion (not shown), and side wall portions. The top wall portion is opposed to the bottom wall portion with a space therebetween in the up-down direction. The side wall portion connects together a peripheral edge of the bottom wall portion and a peripheral edge of the top wall portion, and includes: a first housing side wall and a second housing side wall (not shown) opposed to each other at a spacing in a flow direction of the air flow; and a third housing side wall H1 and a fourth housing side wall (not shown) opposed to each other with a space therebetween in a direction orthogonal to the flow direction of the air flow.
The water tank 10, the water valve assembly 40 and the humidifying element are connected in sequence via water pipes. The humidifying element is located on the downstream side of the flow direction of the air flow of the water tank 10. The humidifying element is supplied from the water tank 10 through a water pipe and a water valve assembly 40 provided to the water pipe.
The shell is provided with an air inlet and an air outlet. The humidifying element E is arranged in the shell and is used for humidifying the air flow flowing from the air inlet to the air outlet. The humidifying element E may be a wet film humidifier. For example, the humidifying element E has a humidifying core portion into and out of which air flows, and a frame body sealing the humidifying core portion. The humidifying core is formed by stacking a first hollow chip through which air flows, a second hollow chip containing water, and a moisture permeable membrane (not shown), and water from the water tank 10 can be injected into the humidifying core through a water inlet port on the humidifying element. The air flows out from the humidifying core portion from an upstream side of the flow direction of the air flow and from the humidifying core portion to a downstream side of the flow direction of the air flow. During the air flow through the humidifying core, it comes into contact with the water in the humidifying core 20, thereby being humidified.
The water tank 10 stores moisture supplied to the humidifying element. The water tank 10 has: a housing portion 10a having an upwardly open rectangular parallelepiped frame shape, including a tank bottom and a side wall 10a1 extending upwardly from a peripheral edge of the tank bottom; and a cover 10b that closes the opening of the housing 10 a. The water tank 10 is arranged, for example, between the air intake and the humidifying element. The humidifier 1 may include a water supply pipe for supplying water to the water tank 10 and a water supply solenoid valve (not shown) provided to the water supply pipe, and the water tank 10 may be provided between the humidifier and the water supply pipe.
The water pipe connecting the water tank 10, the water valve assembly 40 and the humidifying element E includes: a water outlet pipe 11 which fluidly connects the water tank 10 to a valve body 41 of the water valve assembly 40; and a second water pipe (not shown) that fluidly communicates the valve body 41 to the humidifying element. Here, the term "fluid communication" refers to a state in which fluid is allowed to flow therethrough, and for example, the above-mentioned fluid communication of the water tank 10 to the valve body 41 refers to a state in which fluid (e.g., water) can flow from the water tank 10 to the corresponding port of the valve body 41 through the water outlet pipe 11.
In the water valve assembly 40, the valve body 41 is switched to an operating state by a motor portion 42 attached to the valve body. For example, the motor unit 42 includes a motor housing, and a motor, a gear transmission mechanism, and an output shaft which are housed in the motor housing, and the output of the motor is transmitted to the valve via the gear transmission mechanism and the output shaft. For example, a wire is led out from the X2-direction side surface of the motor portion 42 toward the electrical component box.
Further, above the valve body 41, a motor mount 43 is provided. The motor mount 43 is fixed to the valve body 41 from above by a connector, for example. The motor mount 43 has a flat expanded plate shape. The motor 42 is fixedly connected to the valve body 41 via a motor mount 43. The motor unit 42 is fixed to the motor base 43 via a connector not shown.
The valve body 41 has at least the following three ports: a first port in fluid communication with tank 10 via outlet pipe 11; a second port in fluid communication with the humidifying element E via a second water line; and a third port (corresponding to the "outlet port" of the present disclosure) 411 in fluid communication with the drain pan 20. That is, the valve body 41 is provided with a water outlet. In the present embodiment, the valve body 41 is a three-way electromagnetic valve having three ports in total, the first port, the second port, and the third port. The valve body 41 can be switched to communicate from the first port to the second port, at which time water in the water tank 10 can flow to the port of the humidifying element and into the humidifying element via the first water pipe 21, the valve body 41 and the second water pipe. Further, the valve body 41 can be switched to the second port to the third port communication, at which time the water in the humidifying element can flow from the port of the humidifying element to the valve body 41 and into the drain pan 20 via the third port 411.
The humidifying device 1 further includes an overflow pipe 60 for discharging water exceeding a prescribed water level. The base end of the overflow pipe 60 is connected to an overflow port of the tank bottom of the tank 10. The overflow pipe 60 extends downward from the overflow port toward the drain pan 20. Further, although not shown in detail, for example, a water tank bottom portion of the water tank 10 is provided with a water overflow tube portion extending upward from an inner surface (upper surface) of the water tank bottom portion to a predetermined height at a position corresponding to the water overflow port. For example, when the water in the water tank 10 exceeds a predetermined water level, the water in the water tank 10 exceeding the predetermined water level is discharged to the drain pan 20 through the overflow pipe 60.
In addition, the water tank 10 may be provided with a water level switch (not shown). The water level switch is, for example, a float switch. For example, when a sufficient amount of water is stored in the humidifying element and the water level in the water tank 10 rises to reach the upper limit height of the water level switch, the water supply solenoid valve is turned off, and water supply is stopped. Further, if the humidifying element performs a humidifying function, and thus the water level in the water tank 10 is lowered to reach the lower limit height of the water level switch, the water supply solenoid valve is turned on, and water supply is restarted. The water tank 10 is fixed to the housing of the humidifier 1 by a connector, not shown, for example. The humidifying element is supported by the casing and the drain pan 20 via a support member (not shown), for example. In addition, the water tank 10 may be connected to a municipal waterway, or may be filled with water manually.
The drain pan 20 is disposed within the housing. The drain pan 20 is provided in a lower portion of an inner space of a not-shown housing of the humidifying device 1. The drain pan 20 is used for supporting components such as a humidifying element arranged in the shell, and can also contain liquid such as water flowing out of the humidifying element and the water tank, and drain water through a drain outlet 23 of the drain pan 20, so that the use safety of the humidifying device is ensured.
The drain pan 20 has: a drain pan bottom 21; a drain pan side wall portion 22 erected upward from the drain pan bottom portion 21; and a drain opening 23. The drain pan bottom 21 has a thickness in the up-down direction. The drain pan bottom 21 has a substantially rectangular shape in plan view. The drain pan side wall portion 22 has: a first side wall 221 and a second side wall (not shown), the first side wall 221 and the second side wall being opposite in the flow direction of the air flow; and third and fourth side walls 223 and 224, respectively connecting the first and second side walls 221 and 224, and opposing in a direction orthogonal to the flow direction of the air flow. In the direction orthogonal to the flow direction of the air flow, the third side wall 223 and the third housing side wall H1 are located on the same side (the side where the water discharge port is located), for example, mounting portions are provided at the third side wall 223 and the fourth side wall, respectively, for the support members supporting the humidifying element to be provided.
The drain opening 23 is provided in the third side wall 223. The water in the drain pan 20 is discharged to the outside of the humidifying device 1 through the drain port 23. In the present embodiment, the drain pan bottom 21 is provided with a water storage region R. The water storage region R is, for example, a portion of the upper surface of the drain pan bottom 21 that is most recessed downward. The drain opening 23 is provided in the third side wall 223 at a position corresponding to the water storage region R. The water is guided to the water storage region R and discharged to the outside of the humidifying device through the water discharge port 23. For example, the inner surface of the drain pan bottom 21 is disposed so as to be inclined downward toward the mouth of the drain opening 23 as a whole. This can accelerate the flow of water to the drain port 23 and flow out of the drain port 23, and can suppress the accumulation of water on the drain pan with a simple drain structure.
The drain opening 23 is opposed to the valve body 41 with a certain interval. The third port 411 of the valve body 41 is directed toward the drain port 23, and is inclined so as to be closer to the drain port 23 as being directed downward. That is, the water valve assembly 40 is disposed obliquely. Thus, drainage is facilitated, and splashed water is liable to fall obliquely. An opening of the drain opening 23 facing the opening of the drain pan 20 is opposed to the third port 411 with a certain interval. The opening is inclined in a posture matching the inclined third port 411, facing the opening of the third port 411.
The holder 30 is made of, for example, a metal material. The fixing frame 30 includes a first fixing portion 31 and a second fixing portion 32. In the present embodiment, the first fixing portion 31 extends from the second fixing portion 32 toward the Y1 direction (the direction orthogonal to the flow direction of the air flow) and is fixedly connected to the third housing sidewall H1 of the housing H. The first fixing portion 31 may be provided with one or more.
The second fixing portion 32 includes a surrounding side wall that at least partially covers the motor portion 42 from the outer peripheral side of the motor portion 42. In the present embodiment, the second fixing portion 32 includes: a bottom wall 322 of the top wall 321 opposed to each other with a space therebetween in the up-down direction (Z direction), the bottom wall 322 covering and supporting the motor base 43 from below; a first bent wall 323 (corresponding to a "first side wall" of the present disclosure, constituting a part of the surrounding side wall) and a second bent wall 324 which are bent downward from both sides in the flow direction (X direction) of the air flow of the top wall 321; a third folded wall 325 (corresponding to the "second side wall" of the present disclosure, constituting a part of the surrounding side wall) folded downward from the Y2-direction side edge (the other side edge in the direction orthogonal to the flow direction of the air flow) of the top wall 321. That is, the second fixing portion 32 includes: a first side wall and a second side wall adjacent to each other, the first side wall being connected to the top wall 321, the second side wall connecting the top wall 321 and the bottom wall 322. The first side wall and the second side wall cover the motor portion 42 from two directions intersecting each other. The first bending wall 323 covers the lead-out portion of the motor 42 from the X2 direction side. Further, the first folded wall 323 continuously expands over the entire Y-direction range of the holder 30. The Y2-direction side end of the second folded wall 324 is spaced apart from the third folded wall 325 by a certain interval in the Y direction. A part of the motor 42 is disposed in a space surrounded by the fourth bent wall B11, the fifth bent wall B12, the baffle body B1, and the sixth bent wall B13. Further, the top of the baffle B is formed as a seventh bent wall B14 bent from the top edge of the baffle body B1. In the present embodiment, the seventh folded wall B14 is folded from the top edge of the baffle main body B1 in a direction away from the third folded wall 325. The baffle B is fixedly connected to the top wall 321 at a seventh folded wall B14. That is, the top of the baffle B is fixedly connected with the top wall 321.
