本实用新型涉及一种乐器，具体是一种改进的京胡。
京胡是我们的一种主要民族乐器之一，其有悠久的历史，深受广大群众喜爱。但是，长期以来京胡的构造没有任何改进，因此，其音量、音色、音域一直保持不变。
本实用新型的目的是通过对京胡结构的改进，使京胡的音质更加清脆，音色更加悠杨，音量更加嘹亮。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的：经改进的京胡包括琴筒、琴弓、琴担、琴轴、千斤、子弦、琴弦、琴码和蛇皮。琴筒下侧有一个螺纹孔，并有一螺栓拧入其中。琴筒上侧筒壁内外各粘贴一块铜夹板，并用螺丝相固连。铜夹板和琴筒壁上加工有螺纹孔，并有一螺柱拧入该螺纹孔中。螺柱上拧入一带内、外锥度的金属套筒。套筒的内锥面插入琴担。
琴筒开口一端的内孔为喇叭形。
琴筒的内径为36－44mm，琴筒的长度为120－140mm。
本实用新型与传统的京胡相比，主要区别是：①京胡的琴担不穿过琴筒，因而声音在琴筒中不受阻，使声音容易其鸣，音量增大，音域扩宽，减少了杂音。②琴筒原长115mm，现加长到120－140mm。琴筒加长后单调虽略有变低但音量明显加大。③琴筒内径原为42－45mm，现减小至36－44mm。琴筒内径减小后音量略有变小，但音调明显增高。④琴筒后部内径由柱形改为带喇叭的锥形，可使琴筒减细后音量增大。

改进的京胡包括琴筒1、琴弓2、琴担3、琴轴4、子弦5、千斤6、琴弦7、蛇皮11、琴码12，琴筒1内孔后段呈喇叭形。琴筒1的下侧有一个固定琴弦7的螺栓13。琴筒1的上侧，壁内外均粘贴一块铜夹板10，并用螺丝14进一步固紧。螺柱9拧入铜夹板10和筒壁的螺纹孔中。为不使松动，拧入时加上强力胶。带内外锥度的金属套筒8通过其上的螺纹孔拧入螺柱9上。琴担3连接部分制成锥度，插入带锥度金属套筒8的内锥孔中。琴筒1的长度由原来的115mm加长到120－140mm。琴筒1的内径由原来的42－45mm，减小到36－44mm。琴筒1可用竹、铜、或石料制成。金属套筒8用铜制成。
