Referring to fig. 1, the electric toothbrush includes a toothbrush handle 100y and a brush head 200y driven by the toothbrush handle 100y, the toothbrush handle 100y has a housing and functional components disposed in the housing, the functional components include a display screen 190y, the display screen 190y can display related mode information when a user selects a mode, and the display screen 190y can also send out overpressure prompt information when the electric toothbrush is stressed excessively during use. In a related design, the housing includes a housing 120y and a display housing 130y disposed on the housing 120y, the display housing 130y being disposed opposite the display screen 190y to enable information displayed by the display screen 190y to be emitted outwardly. Typically, the display housing 130y will be configured to conform to the contour of the housing 120y, e.g., the housing 120y is generally cylindrical in configuration, and the display housing 130y is typically configured to have an outwardly convex arcuate wall configuration, such that the outer wall surface of the overall housing has a high degree of consistency.
However, in view of assembly, a certain distance, that is, a certain depth, is provided between the display screen 190y and the inner wall surface of the casing, and in fig. 1, a dot-dash line F indicates the outgoing light of the display screen 190 y; whereas E represents the eyes of the user, the dash-dot line from the eyes E to the toothbrush handle 100y indicates the eye light observed by the user, the area defined by the two eye light lines is the visual field range of the display screen 190y captured by the eyes of the user, because the outwardly convex arc-shaped wall body design of the display shell 130y, the display screen 190y is generally only designed to be matched with the size of the display shell 130y, or when the display screen 190y is larger, the display shell 130y needs to be designed to be relatively larger in size so as to observe the full view of the information on the display screen 190y, and the user can only observe the full view of the information on the display screen 190y at a specific angle (the angle facing the display screen 190y and the display shell 130y in the figure, i.e. the range defined by the two outgoing lights F), and when the user is at an inclined visual field angle and does not observe at the specific angle (i.e. does not face the display shell 130 y), the eye light of the user is easily blocked by the shell 120y (as in fig. 1, the shadow is generated in the electric shell 120, so that the shadow is not generated in the process D of the toothbrush is used.
Thus, referring to fig. 2 and 4, the present utility model proposes an electric toothbrush 300 that enables information on a display screen 190 in the electric toothbrush 300 to be easily observed even when the user is at various viewing angles. Toothbrush handle 100 includes a housing 110, a movement 140, and a display 190. Wherein, movement 140 is disposed within housing 110, and display screen 190 is mounted on movement 140.
The housing 110 includes a case 120 and a display cover 130, a mounting cavity 121 is formed in the case 120, a mounting groove 122 is further provided on an outer wall surface of the case 120, and a display area 123 is formed on a groove bottom wall of the mounting groove 122. In this embodiment, the housing 120 has a long rod shape, the display area 123 is a transparent portion, light of the display screen 190 can freely pass through the display area 123, and a main portion of the housing 120 except the display area 123 is made of a non-transparent material. The body portion of the housing 120 may be of a plastic material, for example, suitable exemplary materials that may be used include, but are not limited to, hard plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene (PP), polyamide, polyester, cellulosic, SAN, acrylic, ABS, and other thermoplastics suitable for toothbrush manufacture, although the body portion of the housing 120 may also be of a metal material, such as an aluminum alloy, as the utility model is not limited in this regard.
The display cover 130 is mounted to the mounting groove 122, and the display cover 130 is provided with a light-transmitting region 131 facing the display region 123. In this embodiment, the whole display cover 130 is in a thin-wall structure, the display cover 130 covers the whole mounting groove 122, and the display cover 130 and the housing 120 can be welded, hot-melted, glued, and secondarily injection-molded together. The display cover 130 may be a light-permeable area 131, and other main structures are non-light-permeable, but the display cover 130 may also be integrally light-permeable. In the case where the display cover 130 is provided in such a manner that the light-transmitting region 131 is light-permeable and the main structure is light-impermeable, the material of the light-transmitting region 131 may be plastic, resin, glass, or the like, and the light-transmitting region 131 and the main structure thereof may be fixed together by welding, hot melting, gluing, overmolding, or the like. When the entire display cover 130 is light-transmissive, the display cover 130 may be made of plastic, resin, glass, or the like.
The movement 140 includes a mounting bracket 150, a motor assembly 160, a control circuit board 170, and a power supply unit 180, the mounting bracket 150 is an elongated structure extending in a length direction of the housing 110, and in one structural form, the mounting bracket 150 is formed with two compartments 151 arranged at intervals in a length direction thereof, the two compartments 151 being for mounting the motor assembly 160 and the power supply unit 180, respectively. The motor assembly 160 includes a motor having a drive shaft 162 extending from one end of the housing 120 and drivingly coupled to the brush head 200. The motor assembly 160 of the present utility model may be in the form of a motor for driving the brush head 200 in high frequency vibration for oral cleaning. The motor assembly 160 may also be configured to drive the brush head 200 to reciprocate to clean the oral cavity, without limitation. The power supply unit 180 is electrically connected to the control circuit board 170 and supplies power to the motor assembly 160 and the display screen 190. The power supply unit 180 may be a rechargeable battery, such as a lithium battery, although the power supply unit 180 may be in the form of a dry cell or other forms, which the present utility model is not limited to.
The display screen 190 and the control circuit board 170 of the present utility model are both fixed on the outer wall surface of the mounting bracket 150 and are arranged at intervals in the length direction of the mounting bracket 150. Specifically, referring to fig. 3 and 8, the mounting bracket 150 is formed with a concave portion 152 facing the outer wall surface of the display area 123, and the display screen 190 is embedded and fixed in the concave portion 152, wherein at least two elongated limiting ribs 153 may be disposed on the outer wall surface of the mounting bracket 150, the concave portion 152 is defined between at least two limiting ribs 153, and the display screen 190 is embedded between at least two limiting ribs 153, wherein the height of the limiting ribs 153 arranged in the length direction is equivalent to the thickness of the display screen 190, so that during the assembly process of the electric toothbrush 300, the limiting ribs 153 can well protect the display screen 190 in the process of pushing the whole movement 140 and the display screen 190 into the mounting cavity 121.
The display screen 190 is controlled by the control circuit board 170 and is arranged facing the display cover 130, wherein the toothbrush handle 100 further comprises a key 111, the key 111 is mounted on the housing 110 and abuts against the control circuit board 170, when the electric toothbrush 300 is used, a user can switch functions after triggering the key 111, the display screen 190 displays text or pattern information corresponding to the switched function modes, and light rays of the display screen 190 are transmitted outwards through the display area 123 and the light transmission area 131 so as to be observed by the user. Further, the present utility model configures the outer wall surface of the light-transmitting region 131 to be concavely disposed toward the mounting cavity 121, and it is understood that after the light-transmitting region 131 is concavely disposed, the display cover 130 is thinned in wall thickness at least in a portion of the light-transmitting region 131 as compared with, for example, the design of the arc-shaped outwardly convex display case 190y in the related design in fig. 1, so as to be able to form an approximately concave lens configuration.
Therefore, the light-transmitting area 131 corresponding to the display area 123 on the display cover 130 is concavely arranged towards the mounting cavity 121, so that the light-transmitting area 131 is formed into a structure similar to a concave lens, and the user can observe the vertically reduced virtual image of the whole characters or patterns on the display screen 190 conveniently under the condition of larger observation view angle by the characteristic of the imaging principle of the concave lens on the outer side of the light-transmitting area 131, so that the use is more convenient, meanwhile, the wall thickness of the display area 123 is at least internally thinned due to the fact that the display area 123 is arranged in the form of concave outer wall surface, the risk of shrinkage caused by larger wall thickness in the display area 123 in the forming production process of the display cover 130 can be greatly reduced, and the risk of forming pits in the display area 123 is caused, so that the surface flatness of the display area 123 can be ensured, the display effect is higher, and the product yield in the production process can be improved.
After the outer wall surface of the light-transmitting region 131 of the present utility model is configured to be concave toward the mounting cavity 121, various final structural forms are presented, which will be exemplified below.
Referring to fig. 5, in an embodiment, a distance between an outer wall surface of the light-transmitting area 131 and the display screen 190 is gradually reduced from two opposite sides to a middle of the light-transmitting area 131 in a length direction of the housing 120. In the illustrated exemplary embodiment, a distance between the outer wall surfaces of the side portions of the light-transmitting region 131 in the length direction of the case 120 and the display screen 190 is L1, wherein the distance L1 between the outer wall surfaces of the two side portions of the light-transmitting region 131 in the length direction of the case 120 and the display screen 190 may be equal or different, and a distance between the outer wall surface of the middle portion of the light-transmitting region 131 and the display screen 190 is L0, wherein L0 is smaller than L1, and L1 continuously changes during the approach from the side portion toward the middle portion. By means of the arrangement, the outer wall surface of the light transmitting area 131 forms a relatively smooth concave surface, which is favorable for forming the display effect of the concave lens, and as can be seen from fig. 5, two dot-dash lines S in fig. 5 represent emergent light formed by light rays emitted by the display screen 190 after passing through the light transmitting area 131 with concave lens characteristics, and a region defined between the two emergent light S is a visual field range which can be observed by eyes E of a user. In addition, the design of the utility model ensures that the concave transition of the outer wall surface of the light-transmitting area 131 is smooth, pits are not easy to generate on the surface of the light-transmitting area 131 due to shrinkage, and thus the product yield can be improved.
In addition, since the electric toothbrush 300 is in the inclined posture with a smaller included angle between the length direction and the horizontal plane after the user holds the toothbrush handle 100 during the actual use, the long axis direction of the structure of the concave lens formed by the light-transmitting region 131 is almost horizontal, and the human visual field extends in the transverse direction, i.e. almost horizontal direction, so that the two directions are coincident, which is more beneficial for the user to observe the content on the display screen 190 and is more convenient for use.
Further, the distance between the outer wall surface of either one of the opposite side portions of the light-transmitting region 131 in the length direction of the housing 120 and the display screen 190 is 0.05 to 2 mm (i.e., the difference between L1 and L0 is 0.05 to 2 mm) from the distance between the outer wall surface of the middle portion of the light-transmitting region 131 and the display screen 190. The difference between L1 and L0 of the present utility model may take values of 0.05 mm, 0.06 mm, 0.07 mm. When the difference is less than 0.05 mm, the positive effect on shrinkage is small, the risk of occurrence of pits increases, and when the difference is more than 2.0 mm, the middle part of the light-transmitting region 131 is too thin, the structural strength is small, the light-transmitting region is easy to break, and the curvature change is too large, the change of the content of the screen display observed by a user is inconsistent, and the display effect is reduced, so that the difference between L1 and L0 is set to be 0.05 mm to 2 mm. The display effect is good, the production yield is high, the structural strength is enough, and the like.
Referring to fig. 3 and fig. 6 in combination, in an embodiment, a direction perpendicular to the length direction of the housing 120 and parallel to the panel surface of the display screen 190 is defined as a left-right direction, and the distance between the outer wall surface of the transparent area 131 and the display screen 190 gradually decreases from opposite sides to the middle of the transparent area 131 in the left-right direction. The distance between the outer wall surface of the side portion of the light transmitting region 131 in the left-right direction and the display screen 190 is L2 as shown in the figure. The distance L2 between the outer wall surfaces of the two side portions of the light-transmitting area 131 in the left-right direction and the display screen 190 may be equal or different, and the distance between the outer wall surface of the middle portion of the light-transmitting area 131 and the display screen 190 is still L0, where L0 is smaller than L2, and in the process of approaching from the side portion to the middle portion in the left-right direction in this embodiment, L2 is continuously changed. By arranging so that the outer wall surface of the light-transmitting region 131 is also formed into a relatively smooth concave surface in the left-right direction, advantages similar to those of the previous embodiment can also be produced. It will be appreciated that by the arrangement of this embodiment, and by way of explanation in connection with the principles of the previous embodiment, it will be appreciated that the user can also readily observe the information displayed on the display screen 190 when the electric toothbrush 300 is in its upright position.
Further, a difference between the distance L2 between the outer wall surface of any one of the opposite side portions of the light-transmitting region 131 in the left-right direction and the display screen 190 and the distance L0 between the outer wall surface of the middle portion of the light-transmitting region 131 and the display screen 190 is 0.05 mm to 1.5 mm. (i.e., the difference between L2 and L0 is 0.05 mm to 2 mm). The difference between L2 and L0 of the present utility model may take values of 0.05 mm, 0.06 mm, 0.07 mm. When the difference is less than 0.05 mm, the positive effect on shrinkage is small, the risk of occurrence of pits increases, and when the difference is more than 1.5 mm, the middle part of the light-transmitting region 131 is too thin, the structural strength is small, the light-transmitting region is easy to break, the curvature change is too large, the change of the content of the screen display observed by a user is inconsistent, and the display effect is reduced, so that the difference between L2 and L0 is set to be 0.05 mm to 1.5 mm. The display effect is good, the production yield is high, the structural strength is enough, and the like.
Here, the light-transmitting region 131 of the present utility model may be separately provided as: the distance between the outer wall surface of the light-transmitting region 131 and the display screen 190 may be set to be smaller from the opposite side portions to the middle portion of the light-transmitting region 131 in the length direction of the housing 120: the distance between the outer wall surface of the light-transmitting region 131 and the display screen 190 gradually decreases from the opposite side portions to the middle portion of the light-transmitting region 131 in the left-right direction. Or both of the above arrangements may be present.
Referring to fig. 2 and 3 again, in another embodiment in which the outer wall surface of the light-transmitting region 131 is configured to be concavely disposed toward the mounting cavity 121, the outer contour shape of the light-transmitting region 131 may be circular and the middle portion may be concaved. The light-transmitting area 131 in this embodiment is circular, so that it has the function of focusing the gaze, and is more convenient to observe.
Further, in the case where the light-transmitting region 131 is circular, the wall thickness of the light-transmitting region 131 gradually decreases from the outer periphery of the circular shape to the middle. So set up, the outer wall surface of printing opacity region 131 is sunken to the middle part smoothly for the structural style of printing opacity region 131 is more pressed close to concave lens, thereby on the basis of obtaining the better display effect, can also be in the production shaping process, the stress that its everywhere produced is balanced relatively, thereby is difficult for because shrink produces the pit, so can further promote the production yield.
In view of the above, it will be appreciated that the present utility model utilizes the concave structure formed by recessing the outer wall surface of the light-transmitting region 131 to enable a user to obtain a larger viewing field, and can utilize the concave lens to form an erect reduced virtual image, so that the overall display of the patterns or characters on the display screen 190 can be performed through the light-transmitting region 131 even if the display screen 190 is large in size.
On the basis, the utility model further encloses the outer contour of the light-transmitting region 131 to an area smaller than 6 square centimeters. In this way, in the case that the electric toothbrush 300 is designed to be miniaturized as a whole so as to be convenient to hold, the size of the surface area of the toothbrush handle 100 occupied by the entire light-transmitting area 131 is not excessively large, so that the light-transmitting area 131 is not excessively abrupt in visual effect, the structural consistency of the housing 110 can be improved, the structural strength of the housing is ensured, and the cost can be correspondingly reduced.
Further, referring to fig. 5 and 6 in combination, a plane portion 131a is formed on an inner wall surface of the light-transmitting area 131 facing the display screen 190.
