Technical Field
The present utility model relates to a developing cartridge detachably mounted in an image forming apparatus, which is an electrophotographic image forming apparatus.
Background
A developing cartridge is known in the art, in an axial direction of the developing cartridge, provided with a first bearing member and a second bearing member, respectively, the first bearing member supporting first ends of a developing roller shaft and a powder feeding roller shaft, respectively; the second bearing member supports the second ends of the developing roller shaft and the powder feeding roller shaft, respectively; however, the bearing member generally disposed at one side of the conductive end of the developing cartridge is further provided with a developing electrode or the bearing member is disposed around the developing electrode for supporting the developing electrode or protecting the developing electrode from external interference, but the bearing member having the above structure may influence the stability of the bearing member with respect to the housing due to the force from the developing roller and the powder feeding roller during operation due to the simultaneous supporting of the developing roller and the powder feeding roller, thereby further affecting the stability of the developing electrode surrounded by the bearing member and further affecting the stability of the developing electrode in contact with a power supply unit in the image forming apparatus; and in the transportation, when the developing roller shaft and the powder feeding roller shaft are simultaneously subjected to a large impact force, the bearing may be broken and the developing roller shaft or the powder feeding roller shaft cannot be normally supported.

The developing cartridge of the present embodiment includes a casing 10 that can accommodate developer, a developing roller 14 is accommodated in the casing 10 for conveying the developer to the image forming apparatus or the photosensitive drum in the photosensitive drum cartridge, and the developing roller 14 includes a developing roller shaft 20 extending in the axial direction; the developing cartridge is also provided therein with a toner feeding roller for feeding the developer to the developing roller 14, the toner feeding roller including a toner feeding roller shaft 21 extending in the axial direction. The housing 10 comprises a drive side 11 at a first side in the axial direction and a second, electrically conductive side 12 opposite the drive side 11 in the axial direction; the driving side 11 is provided with a driving gear 15 for meshing with a driving force output device in the image forming apparatus to receive a driving force from the image forming apparatus; the powder feeding roller gear 16 is provided on the driving side 11 to be engaged with the driving gear 15 to receive the driving force from the driving gear 15; the developing roller gear 17 is provided at the driving side 11 to receive the driving force from the powder feeding roller gear 16, of course, alternatively, the developing roller gear 17 may be directly engaged with the driving gear 15 to receive the driving force from the driving gear 15, a stirring frame (not shown) is further provided in the developing cartridge, the stirring frame is provided in the casing 10 to receive the driving force from the driving gear 15 to rotate to stir the developer of the casing and feed the developer to the powder feeding roller, the stirring frame (not shown) is further provided at one end of the driving side of the casing with a stirring frame gear 18, and the stirring frame gear 18 may be engaged with the driving gear 15 to receive the driving force from the driving gear 15. The developing box driving side is also provided with a chip 13 for storing developing box information, the chip 13 is configured to be in electrical contact with the printer for information communication, alternatively, the electrical contact surface of the chip can be arranged on the developing box driving side, and a memory unit for storing information can be arranged at other parts of the shell, so that the interference of the electrical contact surface of the chip by a power transmission unit of the printer can be reduced, and the information interference between the electrical contact surface of the chip and the printer can be reduced.
The developer cartridge housing conductive side 12 is provided with a bearing member 24, the bearing member 24 preferably being made of an insulating material. The bearing member 24 is provided with a developing roller shaft receiving hole 24a supporting the developing roller shaft 20, the inner diameter of the developing roller shaft receiving hole 24a being slightly larger than the outer diameter of the developing roller shaft 20, and the bearing member 24 may be fixed to the housing conductive side 12 by a fixing member such as a screw, so that the developing roller shaft receiving hole 24a may support one end of the developing roller shaft 20 on the conductive side while the developing roller shaft 20 may be rotated with respect to the developing roller shaft receiving hole 24 a. The developing cartridge conductive side 12 in the present embodiment is further provided with a developing electrode 22, the developing electrode 22 including a first projection 22a extending in the axial direction, the first projection 22a being contactable with a power supply unit of the image forming apparatus to receive electric power from the power supply unit in the image forming apparatus; meanwhile, the developing electrode 22 is also provided with a developing roller electric contact portion (not shown) that can be brought into contact with the developing roller shaft 20 to transfer electric power received from the image forming apparatus into the developing roller shaft 20. The developing roller electrical contact may be provided at the driving side 11 or at the conductive side 12 as long as it can be electrically connected with the developing roller shaft 20. A second projection 24b is also provided in the bearing member 24 in the present embodiment, the second projection 24b being configured to extend in the axial direction while the second projection 24b is located at the rear end of the first projection 22a of the developing roller electrode in a second direction perpendicular to the axial direction, the second projection 24b being farther from the developing roller shaft 20 than the first projection 22 a. In this embodiment, the first protrusions 22a,22a of the developing electrode may be inserted into the bearing member 24, and the bearing member 24 surrounds the first protrusion 22a for protecting the first protrusion 22a from moving relative to the housing to better position the developing electrode 22. Also, since the second projection 24b is located at the rear end of the first projection 22a, it is possible to further prevent the developing electrode first projection 22a from being disturbed from the image forming apparatus when the developing cartridge is taken out from or mounted to the image forming apparatus, and also the second projection 24b can better prevent foreign substances from disturbing the first projection 22a during transportation of the developing cartridge, so that the developing electrode first projection 22a can be better protected, thereby having good electric conductivity.
In the present embodiment, one detecting member mounting portion 24c is also provided in the bearing member 24, and a detecting member 30 detectable by a detecting unit in the image forming apparatus can be mounted in the detecting member mounting portion 24c for identifying the capacity of the developing cartridge and other relevant information. The detecting member 30 can be detected by a detecting unit in the image forming apparatus to recognize information such as the type of the developing cartridge and the page yield.
The conductive side in the developing cartridge of the present embodiment is further provided with a powder feeding roller shaft supporting portion 23, and the powder feeding roller shaft supporting portion 23 may be mounted to the conductive side of the casing by a fixing member such as a screw and support a tip of the powder feeding roller shaft 21 at the conductive end, so that the powder feeding roller 21 may be supported by the powder feeding roller shaft supporting portion 23 while the powder feeding roller shaft supporting portion 23 may also restrict movement of the powder feeding roller shaft in the axial direction.
In the present embodiment, the bearing member 24 supporting the developing roller shaft 20 is provided separately from the powder feeding roller supporting portion 23 supporting the powder feeding roller, so that the bearing member 24 supports only the developing roller shaft 20 without supporting the powder feeding roller shaft 21, and thus the developing roller 14 and the powder feeding roller in the developing cartridge are rotated by receiving the driving force or the developing cartridge is transported, and the bearing member 24 is subjected to only the force of the developing roller without being subjected to the force of the powder feeding roller, compared with the prior art. The bearing member 24 is less subject to external forces and less prone to movement or impact relative to the housing and thus may be more stably located on the conductive side of the housing; and the bearing member 24 is also provided with a second protrusion, which can further prevent the first protrusion of the developing electrode from being disturbed by the outside, further improving the contact stability of the developing electrode with the power supply unit of the image forming apparatus.

The same portions as those of embodiment 1 in this embodiment will not be described in detail, and this embodiment only describes differences from embodiment 2: the bearing member 34 in the present embodiment is provided with a developing roller shaft supporting hole 34a that supports only the developing roller shaft without supporting the detecting member; meanwhile, the second projection 34b of the present embodiment is also provided at the rear end of the first projection 22a of the developing electrode in the second direction, farther from the developing roller shaft than the first projection 22 a. In addition, the powder feeding roller shaft supporting part 43 and the shell are integrally formed, so that the number of parts of the developing box can be reduced, and the cost is saved.

1. A developing cartridge; comprising the following steps:
a housing configured to accommodate a developer; comprising a drive side and a conductive side opposite to the drive side in an axial direction;
a drive gear located on the drive side;
a developing roller including a developing roller shaft extending in an axial direction;
the powder feeding roller comprises a powder feeding roller shaft extending in the axial direction;
a developing electrode electrically connected to the developing roller, including a first projection extending in an axial direction; the first protrusion is positioned on the conductive side; the first protrusion is configured to contact a power supply unit in the image forming apparatus to receive power;
a bearing member located on the conductive side and surrounding at least a portion of the first protrusion;
wherein the bearing member supports only one of the developing roller shaft or the powder feeding roller shaft.
2. The developing cartridge according to claim 1, wherein the bearing member further includes a second projection extending in an axial direction, the second projection being farther from the developing roller shaft than the first projection in a second direction perpendicular to the axial direction.
3. The developing cartridge according to claim 1, wherein a toner feed roller shaft supporting portion that supports the toner feed roller shaft is further provided at the conductive side, the toner feed roller shaft supporting portion being mounted to the conductive side of the housing.
4. The developing cartridge according to claim 1, wherein a toner feed roller shaft supporting portion that supports the toner feed roller shaft is further provided at the conductive side, the toner feed roller shaft supporting portion being integrally formed with the housing.
5. A developing cartridge according to claim 1, wherein said bearing member further supports a detecting member, said detecting member being detectable by a detecting unit in the image forming apparatus.
6. The developing cartridge according to claim 2, wherein the second projection is made of an insulating material.
7. The developer cartridge of claim 1, further comprising a chip electrical contact surface disposed on said conductive side of the housing.
