Detailed Description
Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
Example 1
First, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the developing cartridge of the present invention is detachably mounted in the image forming apparatus. The developing cartridge includes a casing 1, a developing roller 2, a handle 3, a driving gear 4, and an electric contact member 22. The first electrical connection member 21 and the electrical contact member 22 are divided into two parts, and the electrical contact member 22 can be made thinner and smaller by using a metal material, and the wear resistance of the electrical contact member 22 can be improved, but not limited thereto. A powder feeding roller (not shown in the figure) is used to supply the developer to the developing roller 2, and an agitating frame is used to agitate and convey the developer in a developer accommodating portion in the casing 1. The developing roller shaft and the powder feeding roller shaft are both made of metal, and the developing roller end part 2a and the powder feeding shaft end part 3a protrude from the side wall of the developer accommodating part of the housing 1. The second electrical connection member 30 electrically connects the first electrical connection member 21 and the third electrical connection member 11, is configured to cross the length direction of the housing 1, and has a driving side electrical contact end 30a and a driving side-to-side electrical contact end 30b, the driving side electrical contact end 30a being electrically contacted with the third electrical connection member 11, and the driving side-to-side electrical contact end 30b being electrically contacted with the third electrical connection member 11. The first electrical connection member 21 includes a first electrical contact portion 21a electrically contacting the driving side-opposite side electrical contact terminal 30b, the third electrical connection member 11 includes a third electrical contact portion 11a electrically contacting the driving side electrical contact portion, the first electrical contact portion 21a electrically contacts the driving side-opposite side electrical contact portion 30b at a position opposite to the driving side of the developing cartridge, and the third electrical contact portion 11a electrically contacts the driving side electrical contact portion 30a at the driving side of the developing cartridge. Preferably, the first electrical connection member 21 serves as a cover member for covering the detection member 9 at the same time, and the third electrical connection member 11 serves as a bearing member for supporting the developing roller shaft 2a at the same time. Further, the third electrical connecting member 11 can also function as a bearing member that supports the powder feed roller shaft 6a at the same time. Specifically, the third electrical connecting member 11 includes a developing roller bearing portion 11b configured as a circular through-hole for supporting the developing roller shaft 2a, while also electrically contacting the developing roller shaft 2a through the bearing portion 11 b. a housing having a developer accommodating portion;
a developing roller rotatably supported by the housing, the developing roller rotating about an axis extending in a first direction, and having a developing roller shaft made of metal;
a powder feeding roller rotatably supported by the housing for feeding the developer to the developing roller, and having a powder feeding roller shaft made of metal;
a driving gear provided at a driving side of the housing in a first direction for engaging with a driving member in the image forming apparatus to receive a rotational driving force;
an electrode including a first contact portion contacting a power supply member in the image forming apparatus, a second contact portion contacting the developing roller shaft, and an intermediate electrical connection portion connecting the first contact portion and the second contact portion, the intermediate electrical connection portion electrically connecting the first contact portion and the second contact portion;
the second contact part is positioned on the driving side of the shell, the first contact part is positioned on the opposite side of the driving side of the shell, and the opposite side of the driving side and the driving side are two opposite ends of the shell in the first direction; the first contact part and the detected component are positioned on the opposite side of the driving side of the shell.
2. A developing cartridge according to claim 1, wherein said electrode further includes a bearing member supporting said developing roller shaft at a driving side of said casing, said bearing member being electrically connected to said developing roller shaft and supporting said developing roller shaft in a manner allowing rotation of said developing roller shaft.

4. A developing cartridge according to claim 1, wherein said developer accommodating portion of said casing has an upper cover and a lower cover, said upper cover being made of an electrically conductive material and being configured as a part of said intermediate electrical connection portion.
5. A developing cartridge according to claim 1, wherein said developer accommodating portion of said casing has an upper cover and a lower cover, said lower cover being made of an electrically conductive material and configured as a part of said intermediate electrical connection portion.
6. A developing cartridge according to claim 1, further comprising a cover member covering said detected member, said cover member being provided on a side opposite to a driving side of said casing, said cover member being a part of said intermediate electric connecting portion.
7. A developing cartridge according to claim 1, wherein said first contact portion overlaps with at least a part of said detected member as viewed in an axial direction of said developing roller.
8. A developing cartridge according to claim 1, further comprising a powder discharge blade for limiting a thickness of a layer of the developer on the surface of said developing roller, said powder discharge blade being a part of said intermediate electrical connection portion.
9. A developing cartridge according to claim 1, further comprising an integrated circuit chip provided on said driving side.
10. A developing cartridge according to claim 9, wherein said integrated circuit chip is mounted on said developing cartridge by a chip holder, said integrated circuit chip including an electrical contact surface for making electrical contact with said image forming apparatus, said electrical contact surface being insulated from a portion of said electrode on a driving side of said developing cartridge by said chip holder.
