7. The easy open package of claim 6 wherein the tear line element comprises a first edge and a second edge, the first edge and the second edge having an included angle a therebetween.

8. An easy open package as in claim 7 wherein the included angle a is an obtuse angle.

9. The easy-open package of claim 8 wherein the included angle a is 95-135 degrees.
