1. An ink cartridge detachably mountable to a printing apparatus with a length direction of the ink cartridge as an ink cartridge mounting direction, comprising:
a housing provided with an ink storage chamber for storing ink, and having an upper surface facing upward when the ink cartridge is mounted to the printing apparatus and a front surface facing forward when the ink cartridge is mounted to the printing apparatus, the upper surface being connected to the front surface;
a projection provided on the housing for engaging with the printing device to hold the ink cartridge in the printing device; and
the chip records the ink box information;
be equipped with chip installation position on the upper surface, the chip is installed on the chip installation position, and on the ink horn installation direction, the upper surface is in the front side of chip installation position is equipped with and is used for preventing the interference region of preventing that produces the interference when the ink horn installation.

The ink cartridge as claimed in claim 3, wherein said rear interference preventing surface is a front surface of said chip mounting site, said bottom interference preventing surface is a flat surface portion of said rear interference preventing surface without protrusions, and said sub-bottom interference preventing surface is a slope surface portion of said bottom interference preventing surface without protrusions in front thereof.

The ink cartridge according to claim 3, further comprising an ink outlet provided on said front surface, said ink outlet being located in front of said chip in said cartridge mounting direction, and being located below said bottom interference prevention surface in an upward direction when said ink cartridge is mounted to said printing apparatus.
6. The ink cartridge as claimed in claim 5, wherein said sub-bottom interference preventing surface is adjacent to said front surface, and is disposed in front of said ink outlet port in said cartridge mounting direction, said ink outlet port being located in front of said rear interference preventing surface.
7. The ink cartridge as claimed in claim 3, wherein said upper surface further comprises a third upper surface, said protrusion is provided on said third upper surface, and a height L1 of said protrusion from said upper surface is smaller than a height L2 of a top surface of said protrusion to said bottom interference prevention surface.
8. The ink cartridge as claimed in claim 4, wherein the chip includes electrodes and a chip holder, the circuit board is obliquely disposed on the chip holder, and the chip holder is detachably mounted on the chip mounting site so as to be mounted on the case.
9. The ink cartridge as claimed in claim 8, wherein the chip mounting portion further includes a shielding portion, the shielding portion is located on a front side of the chip holder in the cartridge mounting direction when the chip is mounted on the chip mounting portion, a thickness of the shielding portion is larger than a length of the shielding portion, and the rear interference preventing surface is a front side surface of the shielding portion.

The ink cartridge as claimed in claim 1, further comprising an air vent, said ink cartridge further having a side surface perpendicular to said front surface and said upper surface, said air vent being located on said side surface, and said air vent communicating with said ink storage chamber for communicating an inside of said ink cartridge with an outside atmosphere.
