The conventional cooking appliance has problems in that the steam valve is not properly arranged and is difficult to clean. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an improved cooking appliance to address or at least partially address the above-mentioned and other potential problems.
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a cooking appliance. The cooking appliance includes: a pot body adapted to contain food to be cooked; an upper cover including an accommodating chamber; an inner cover detachably coupled to the upper cover and including an air intake hole; the heavy hammer is coupled on the air inlet; a driving member installed in the accommodation chamber; and a steam valve assembly detachably installed in the accommodating chamber and including: a first end sealingly coupled to the inner cap; a second end opposite to the first end, the second end being provided with an exhaust hole; a chamber between the first end and the second end adapted to receive a weight; and a steam valve push rod sealingly coupled to the steam valve assembly via a seal and movable relative to the steam valve assembly to push the weight; wherein the driving component is suitable for driving the steam valve push rod to move.
According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a user may remove the steam valve assembly as a unit for cleaning. Meanwhile, the driving part related to the electrical aspect is not disassembled. Therefore, the cleaning requirement of the steam valve component is met, and the electric control safety is guaranteed. In addition, the steam valve assembly is accommodated in the accommodating cavity, so that the appearance of the upper cover is neat and complete.
In some embodiments, the upper lid is pivotally connected to the pan body to open or close the pan body and includes a vent opening adapted to receive or be in fluid communication with a vent hole.
In some embodiments, the inner cover includes a valve seat and a valve stem disposed on the valve seat, and the air intake hole is disposed on and through the valve stem; the weight comprises a blind hole to be sleeved on the valve rod. In some embodiments, the first end is sealingly coupled to the inner cap by a first seal. The first seal member ensures a seal between the steam valve assembly and the inner cover so that steam will flow into the chamber of the steam valve assembly through the air inlet.
In some embodiments, the cooking appliance further comprises a drive ram mounted within the receiving cavity and engaged with the drive member; and the drive ram is aligned with the steam valve ram with the steam valve assembly mounted within the receiving cavity. The driving part can push the steam valve push rod through the driving push rod, so that the movement of the heavy hammer is realized, and the pressure relief in the pot body is also realized. Also, the steam valve assembly as a whole can be removed for cleaning, but the electrical drive components and drive ram need not be removed. In some embodiments, the steam valve assembly includes a through-hole disposed on the first housing; wherein the seal comprises a second seal disposed at least partially between the throughbore and the steam valve push rod. The steam valve push rod is hermetically and movably connected to the steam valve assembly, so that the steam valve assembly is independent of an electric part such as a driving part and is easy to detach and clean.
In some embodiments, the cooking appliance is a pressure cooking appliance.

Cooking appliances generally comprise a pot for containing the food to be cooked and an upper lid for closing the pot, and for pressure appliances, a steam valve assembly and/or a weight. With conventional cooking appliances, the steam valve assembly and/or the weight are disposed outside the upper cover, affecting the aesthetic appearance thereof. In addition, in a steam valve assembly including a driving member such as a solenoid valve, the steam valve assembly is generally not detachable and cannot be cleaned in order to ensure electrical safety.
The present disclosure provides an improved cooking appliance having an improved appearance and that a user can clean the steam valve assembly while having a higher level of electrical safety.

As shown in fig. 1 to 4, a cooking appliance (e.g., a pressure cooking appliance) includes a pot body, an upper lid 10, an inner lid 30, a weight 32, a driving part 13, and a steam valve assembly 20.
As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the upper cover 10 includes a receiving chamber 16, and the receiving chamber 16 is used to receive the steam valve assembly 20 and the driving part 13. Thus, the steam valve assembly 20 is received in the upper cover 10, which can make the appearance of the cooking appliance more beautiful.
In some embodiments, lid 10 is pivotally connected to the pan body to open or close the pan body. In some embodiments, the upper lid 10 is coupled to the pan body by a pivot shaft 12.
In some embodiments, the cover 10 further comprises a vent opening 11, the vent opening 11 being adapted to receive the vent 210 or being in fluid communication with the vent 210. During venting, gas exits the cooking appliance from the vent opening 11 and/or vent hole 210.
The inner lid 30 is removably coupled to the upper lid 10, and the user can remove the upper lid 10 to further remove the steam valve assembly 20. In some embodiments, referring to fig. 1-3, the inner lid 30 includes a lid body 31 with a seal disposed thereon to seal a pot within the pot body. The first surface 311 of the lid 31 faces the upper lid 10, and the second surface 312 of the lid 31 faces the pot. The weight 32 is attached to the first surface 311 of the cover 31.
The inner lid 30 further includes an air intake hole 33, and a weight is coupled to the air intake hole 33 and can close the air intake hole 33.
When the gas (steam) generated in the pot body reaches a predetermined pressure, the gas can overcome the gravity of the weight 32, so as to push the weight 32 open or intermittently push the weight 32 open. Gas can thus enter the steam valve assembly 20 via the gas inlet hole 33.
In some embodiments, the inner cover 30 includes a valve seat 332 and a stem 331 disposed on the valve seat 332. The intake hole 33 may be provided on the valve stem 331 and penetrate the valve stem 331. Accordingly, the weight 32 may include a blind hole to fit over the valve stem 331.
The steam valve assembly 20 includes opposing first and second ends 25, 26. The first end 25 is sealingly coupled to the inner cover 30. In some embodiments, the first end 25 may be sealingly coupled to the inner cap 30 by a first seal 202.
The second end 26 of the steam valve assembly 20 is provided with a vent 210. Gas entering the steam valve assembly 20 can exit the steam valve assembly and the cooking appliance via the vent 210.
The steam valve assembly 20 also includes a chamber 27 between the first end 25 and the second end 26. Chamber 27 is adapted to receive weight 32.
Steam valve pushrod 222 is sealingly coupled to steam valve assembly 20 via a seal. Steam valve push rod 222 can move relative to steam valve assembly 20 to push weight 32. In some embodiments, the steam valve assembly 20 includes a through hole 221; and the seal comprises a second seal 223. Second seal 223 is at least partially disposed between throughbore 221 and steam valve push rod 222. In some embodiments, the second seal 223 may be a silicone seal.
In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 1, the weight 32 may be cylindrical and includes a body 321. In some embodiments, weight 32 includes a protrusion 322 and an inclined portion 323 (see fig. 1). For example, the protrusion 322 may be a toggle part protruding from the body 321, and the inclined part 323 may be a track groove recessed into the body 321.
Protrusion 322 can be pushed by steam valve pusher 222. The inclined portion 323 is coupled with a rail on the valve seat 332. When the protrusion 322 of the weight 32 is pushed by the steam valve push rod 222, the inclined part 323 of the weight 32 moves along the track, causing the height of the weight 32 relative to the valve stem 331 to change. The change in the height of the weight 32 partially or entirely releases the intake hole 33.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2-4, the steam valve assembly 20 includes a first housing 22 and a second housing 21. The first housing 22 includes a peripheral wall 225, and the peripheral wall 225 forms the first cavity 24 of the chamber 27 to accommodate the weight 32. In some embodiments, the first housing 22 may also include a top wall 226.
As shown in fig. 2-4, the second housing 21 is removably (e.g., snap-fit) mounted to the first housing 22. The exhaust hole 210 may be provided on the second case 21. A second chamber 23 of the chamber 27 is formed between the second housing 21 and the first housing 22. For example, the top wall 226 and the peripheral wall 225 together with the second housing 21 form a second chamber 23 between the second housing 21 and the first housing 22.
In some embodiments, the second housing 21 and/or the first housing 22 are provided with a plurality of ribs 211,212 arranged to be staggered with respect to each other to form a tortuous airflow path within the second chamber 23.
As shown in fig. 3-4, an opening 220 may be opened in a side of the peripheral wall 225 adjacent to the pivot shaft 12, the opening 220 fluidly communicating the first chamber 24 and the second chamber 23.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2, the first housing 22 and the second housing 21 of the steam valve assembly 20 are engaged by a snap fit, and a sealing strip 201 is provided therebetween for sealing. The first housing 22, the second housing 21 and the sealing strip 201 together enclose a chamber 27 for containing gas (steam).
In some embodiments, a through hole 221 may be provided at a side of the second housing 21, and a steam valve push rod 222 is installed in the through hole 221 via a second sealing member 223 for pushing the weight 32 to exhaust.
The driving part 13 is installed in the upper cover 10 (e.g., in the accommodating chamber 16) and the driving part 13 is adapted to drive the steam valve push rod 222 to move. The driving part 13 drives the steam valve push rod 222 to move so as to push the weight 32. This enables rapid venting. As shown in fig. 1-5, in some embodiments, the drive member 13 may be a solenoid valve.
In some embodiments, the cooking appliance further comprises a drive pusher 14 mounted within the upper cover 10 (e.g., within the receiving cavity 16) and engaged with the drive member 13. With the steam valve assembly 20 installed into the receiving cavity 16, the drive ram 14 is aligned with the steam valve ram 222. The driving part 13 may push the steam valve push rod 222 to move by driving the push rod 14. Referring to fig. 3 and 4, the driving part 13, the driving push rod 14, and the steam valve assembly 20 are installed in the accommodating chamber 16.
Referring to fig. 4-5, the driving rod 14 is aligned with the steam valve rod 222 of the steam valve assembly 20, when the driving component 13 drives the driving rod 14 to move in a translational manner, the driving rod 14 can drive the steam valve rod 222 to move in a translational manner, the steam valve rod 222 pushes the weight 32 in the closed position to exhaust, gas (steam) in the pot enters the chamber 27 of the steam valve assembly 20 from the gas inlet hole 33 (specifically, first enters the first chamber 24, then reaches the second chamber 23 through the opening 220), circulates in a zigzag manner in the chamber 27 (e.g., the second chamber 23), and finally is exhausted through the exhaust hole 210, so as to achieve a quick exhaust function after cooking.
Embodiments of the present disclosure address the problems of cleaning and electrical safety of the steam valve assembly. The embodiment of the present disclosure integrates a part of the transmission part (steam valve push rod 222) on the steam valve assembly 20, and mounts the driving part 13 (e.g., solenoid valve) inside the upper cover 10. Thus, the steam valve assembly 20 as a whole can be removed for cleaning without removing the electrical drive component 13 (and drive ram 14). The cooking utensil has the performance of steam valve subassembly washing and electric safety two aspects concurrently. Furthermore, by disposing the weight on the inner cap 30, the user can remove the inner cap 30 from the upper cap 10 and then directly remove the weight for cleaning, and the weight 32 can be easily removed and installed.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the user can easily disassemble and clean the related components (except the electric part) on the exhaust path, so that the problem of bacteria breeding caused by water vapor, residues and the like which are retained in the steam valve assembly is solved.
The steam valve assembly provided by the disclosure has the advantages of rapid exhaust, stable structure, high reliability, convenience in disassembly and assembly and easiness in cleaning; and the pressure cooking utensil provided with the steam valve component has the advantages of simple appearance and attractive appearance.

a pot body adapted to receive food to be cooked;
an upper cover (10) comprising a containing cavity (16);
an inner cover (30) detachably coupled to the upper cover (10) and including an air intake hole (33);
a weight (32) coupled to the intake hole (33);
a drive member (13) mounted within the housing chamber (16); and
a steam valve assembly (20) removably mounted within the receiving cavity (16) and comprising:
a first end (25) sealingly coupled to the inner cover (30);
a second end (26) opposite the first end (25), the second end (26) being provided with an exhaust aperture (210);
a chamber (27) between said first end (25) and said second end (26) adapted to accommodate said weight (32); and
a steam valve push rod (222) sealingly coupled to the steam valve assembly (20) via a seal and movable relative to the steam valve assembly (20) to push the weight (32);
wherein the driving part (13) is suitable for driving the steam valve push rod (222) to move.
2. Cooking appliance according to claim 1, wherein the upper lid (10) is pivotally connected to the pan body to open or close the pan body and comprises a venting opening (11), the venting opening (11) being adapted to receive the venting hole (210) or being in fluid communication with the venting hole (210).
3. The cooking appliance according to claim 1, wherein the inner cover (30) comprises a valve seat (332) and a valve stem (331) disposed on the valve seat (332), the air intake hole (33) being disposed on the valve stem (331) and penetrating the valve stem (331);
wherein the weight (32) comprises a blind hole to be sleeved on the valve rod (331).
4. The cooking appliance according to claim 3, wherein the weight (32) comprises:
a protrusion (322) adapted to be pushed by the steam valve push rod (222); and
an inclined portion (323) coupled with a rail on the valve seat (332).
5. The cooking appliance according to claim 1, wherein the first end (25) is sealingly coupled to the inner cover (30) by a first seal (202).
6. The cooking appliance according to claim 1, further comprising a drive pusher (14) mounted inside the housing chamber (16) and engaged with the drive member (13); and the drive ram (14) is aligned with the steam valve ram (222) with the steam valve assembly (20) installed into the receiving cavity (16).
7. The cooking appliance according to claim 1, wherein the upper lid (10) is pivotally coupled to the pan body via a pivot shaft (12);
the steam valve assembly (20) includes:
a first housing (22) comprising a peripheral wall (225), said peripheral wall (225) forming a first cavity (24) of said chamber (27) to accommodate said weight (32); and
a second housing (21) detachably mounted to the first housing (22) and including the exhaust hole (210);

8. The cooking appliance according to claim 7, wherein the second casing (21) and/or the first casing (22) are provided with a plurality of ribs (211,212) staggered with respect to each other to form a tortuous air flow passage within the second chamber (23).
9. The cooking appliance according to claim 7, wherein the steam valve assembly (20) comprises a through hole (221) provided on the first casing (22);
wherein the seal comprises a second seal (223) disposed at least partially between the throughbore (221) and the steam valve pushrod (222).
10. The cooking appliance of any one of claims 1-9, wherein the cooking appliance is a pressure cooking appliance.
