The upper cover 2 is provided with an installation groove 23, the through hole 22 penetrates through the installation groove 23, the installation part 51 of the knob 5 is accommodated in the installation groove 23, and the decoration cover 4 covers the upper cover 2 and clamps and fixes the installation part 51 with the upper cover 2. The head 52 is exposed through the decoration cover 4, and the mounting portion 51 and the mounting groove 23 clamp and fix the seal ring 6, so that the seal ring 6 can be fixed simply and conveniently.

The bottom wall 24 of the mounting groove 23 of the upper cover 2 is provided with a circle of positioning grooves 25, and the sealing ring 6 is accommodated in the positioning grooves 25. It will be appreciated that the outer race groove 54 and the mating rib 26 serve as the primary water barrier, and therefore only the outer race groove 54 and the mating rib 26 may be provided.

The center of the bottom of the knob 5 is provided with a containing cavity 55 which is open downwards and a connecting groove 56 which is positioned in the containing cavity 55, the shaft handle 12 of the display panel 1 extends upwards into the containing cavity 55 to be connected with the connecting groove 56, and the groove 54 surrounds the outer side of the containing cavity 55. Referring to fig. 3, the upper cover 2 is provided with a water blocking rib 27 extending into the accommodating chamber 55 along the edge of the through hole 22. The water blocking rib 27 is close to the depth of the accommodating cavity 55 in height, so that a barrier is formed, and the waterproofness of the upper cover 2 is improved.

Referring to fig. 6, and referring to fig. 1, the bottom wall 24 of the upper cover 2 is provided with a water leakage hole 28 communicated with the mounting groove 23, and the corresponding lower cover 3 is provided with a water drainage hole 31 corresponding to the water leakage hole 28, so that during a related safety test, liquid left along the knob 5 can be drained through the water leakage hole 28 and the water drainage hole 31, thereby avoiding liquid accumulation in the display panel assembly.

Second embodiment

Referring to fig. 7, a second embodiment of a cooking appliance and a display panel assembly thereof is provided, which is different from the first embodiment only in that: the mounting part 51 of the knob is cancelled with a rib, and only one circle of mounting grooves 54' are arranged; the bottom wall 24 of the upper cover mounting groove is eliminated with a matching rib, and the sealing ring 6 is accommodated in the mounting groove 54' and is connected with the mounting part 51 and the bottom wall 24 in a sealing way. The reference numerals of the first embodiment are followed by those of the other elements in fig. 7 except for the mounting groove 54'.

Third embodiment

Referring to fig. 8, a third embodiment of a cooking appliance and a display panel assembly thereof is provided, which is different from the second embodiment only in that: the mounting part 51 of the knob is eliminated with a groove, and the sealing ring 6 is positioned between the bottom surface of the mounting part 51 and the bottom wall 24 of the upper cover to hermetically connect the mounting part 51 and the bottom wall 24. The reference numerals of the first embodiment are still used here.

Claims

1. A fascia assembly for a cooking appliance, comprising:

a display panel (1) provided with a shaft handle (12);

an upper cover (2) located on a top side of the display panel (1);

a decorative cover (4) covering the upper cover (2);

the knob (5) is arranged on the upper cover (2) and passes through the decorative cover (4) to be exposed, and the shaft handle (12) is connected with the knob (5) in an inserted manner;

and the sealing ring (6) is connected with the knob (5) and the upper cover (2) in a sealing way.

The display panel assembly of the cooking appliance according to claim 1, wherein the knob (5) includes a mounting portion (51) at a bottom, the upper cover (2) is provided with a mounting groove (23) for receiving the mounting portion (51), and the mounting portion (51) and the mounting groove (23) clamp and fix the sealing ring (6).

3. The assembly of a display plate of a cooking appliance according to claim 2, wherein the bottom wall (24) of the mounting groove (23) is provided with a ring of positioning grooves (25), the sealing ring (6) being housed in the positioning grooves (25).

4. The indicator plate assembly of a cooking appliance according to claim 3, wherein the mounting portion (51) is provided with an annular bead (53), the bead (53) extending into the positioning groove (25) and pressing against the sealing ring (6).

The indicator plate assembly of a cooking appliance according to claim 4, wherein the mounting portion (51) is provided with a ring of grooves (54) located outside the beads (53), the bottom wall (24) is provided with a ring of engagement ribs (26) located outside the positioning grooves (25), and the engagement ribs (26) protrude into the respective grooves (54).
