The side retaining wall 222 of the oil receiving box 22 surrounds the outer side of the annular wall 218 and is in snap fit connection with the annular wall 218, and an overflow channel 226 is arranged between the side retaining wall 222 and the annular wall 218. The overflow passage 226 extends substantially vertically, is open at the top, and communicates with the oil receiving chamber 223 at the bottom.
The soup in the oil receiving cavity 223 overflows upwards from the overflow channel 226 and flows out of the food steamer assembly 2 from the gap 225.
