The automatic bagging apparatus of claim 1 wherein the packaging machine body further comprises a feed member and a thermal knife member, the feed member and the transport member being spaced apart from each other and having a discharge end disposed opposite the feed end of the transport member for feeding the product onto the transport track of the transport member, the thermal knife member being disposed between the feed member and the transport member and coupled to the frame, the thermal knife member being disposed above the feed member and the transport member and movable adjacent the transport member for cutting the doubled film deposited on the feed end of the transport member by the film feeding assembly.
