Detailed Description
The following detailed description of embodiments of the utility model refers to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating the present invention, are given by way of illustration and explanation only, not limitation.
Repeated research by the inventors of the present disclosure finds that there are two main reasons for the inconsistency of the fillet sizes of different products:
firstly, because the periphery of the initial panel is covered by the independent shielding block, the size and the range of a ground fillet cannot be clearly judged when the corner of the initial panel is ground;
and secondly, after grinding is finished, when whether the diameter of the obtained round angle is qualified is detected, determining the end point position of the edge circular arc of the round angle in a mode of obtaining an image at the round angle and then carrying out image recognition, and calculating the radius of the circular arc edge according to the end point position. Because the sheltering block at the round angle is the same as the sheltering block at the right-angle side area, the detection equipment cannot accurately judge the boundary of the edge arc of the round angle, and further cannot accurately judge the diameter of the round angle obtained by grinding, and cannot judge whether the round angle obtained by grinding meets the process requirements.
In view of this, as a first aspect of the present disclosure, an initial display substrate is provided, as shown in fig. 1, the initial display substrate includes a product area 110 and a to-be-processed area 120 disposed at a periphery of the product area 110. The to-be-processed region 120 includes a plurality of to-be-processed corner regions respectively disposed at a plurality of corners of the initial display substrate, and the corners include two main corner sides (main corner side L1 and main corner side L2 in fig. 2) whose extending directions intersect each other. It should be noted that the term "main corner edge" refers to an edge of the initial display substrate parallel to an edge of the outer contour of the product area 110, and the main corner edges intersect or an extension line of the main corner edges intersects to form a closed figure, and the product area 110 is located inside the closed figure. For example, in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the outer contour of the product area 110 is substantially rectangular, and the initial display substrate includes four major corner edges that are respectively parallel to four edges of the product area 110.
As shown in fig. 2, at least one of the fillet areas to be processed includes an arc-shaped block arrangement sub-area a1 and two rectangular block arrangement sub-areas a2, two main corner edges are outer edges of the two rectangular block arrangement sub-areas a2, respectively, and the arc-shaped block arrangement sub-area a1 is disposed between the two rectangular block arrangement sub-areas a 2. Note that the edge of the rectangular block arrangement sub-region a2 located inside the region to be processed 120 is the inner edge of the rectangular block arrangement sub-region a 2.
As shown in fig. 3, the initial display substrate further includes a plurality of rectangular blocking pieces disposed in the rectangular block arrangement sub-region a2 and a plurality of arc-shaped blocking pieces 121 disposed in the arc-shaped block arrangement sub-region a1, the plurality of arc-shaped blocking pieces 121 are disposed in parallel at intervals, and the plurality of arc-shaped blocking pieces 121 are all protruded toward a direction departing from the product region 110.
The initial display substrate provided by the present disclosure is used for being boxed with a box-to-box substrate and forming an initial display panel. It should be noted that the rounded corners obtained by cutting and/or grinding the initial display panel are located in the arc block arrangement sub-area. As shown in fig. 3, the dotted line R is the edge arc of the finally obtained rounded corner.
When the initial display panel is cut and/or ground, a portion of the entire region to be processed 120 is removed, and as shown in fig. 7, the remaining portion of the region to be processed 120 is formed as an edge shielding region 120' of the display panel. Therefore, the shielding block provided in the rectangular block arrangement sub-area is also partially removed. Since the rectangular blocking block has a regular edge shape and a large difference from the arc-shaped blocking block, the end point of the edge arc of the rounded corner obtained after cutting (i.e., the position where the edge arc intersects with the rest of the rectangular blocking block) is also easily recognized by the detection device. After the detection equipment accurately identifies the two end points of the edge arc, the radius of the edge arc can be calculated and obtained, and the calculation result is accurate, so that whether the round angle obtained by cutting is qualified or not can be accurately judged.
Whether the fillet that can accurately judge processing and obtain after finishing with this disclosure's initial display substrates who provides is arranged in initial display panel is qualified, consequently, utilizes this disclosure's display substrates can realize better product management and control.
It is to be noted that, in the present disclosure, the positions of the rectangular block arrangement sub-region a2 and the arc-shaped block arrangement sub-region a1 need to be determined according to the size of the edge arc of the rounded corner to be finally obtained. The arc-shaped cutting line for cutting the round angle is positioned in the range of the arc-shaped block arrangement sub-region A1. The tangent forming the rounded arc-shaped cutting line is located within the range of the rectangular block arrangement sub-region a 2. And the radian of the arc-shaped blocking piece is consistent with the radian of the edge arc of the fillet to be finally obtained. Also, the end points of the arc-shaped stoppers should be aligned with the end point positions of the rounded corners to be finally obtained. Therefore, the sizes of the arc-shaped block pieces and the arc-shaped block arrangement sub-region a1, the rectangular block arrangement sub-region a2, and the rectangular block pieces may be determined according to the size of the rounded corner region of the display panel that is finally desired to be obtained.
In order to make the rectangular blocking pieces easier to be identified, as an alternative embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, in the rectangular block arrangement sub-area, a plurality of the rectangular blocking pieces include a plurality of first rectangular blocking pieces 122 and a plurality of second rectangular blocking pieces 123, the plurality of first rectangular blocking pieces 122 are arranged along the corresponding major corners, and a first space is formed between two adjacent first rectangular blocking pieces 122, and the plurality of second rectangular blocking pieces 123 are disposed in the first space. The width d of the first space is smaller than the dimension w of the first rectangular stopper 122 in the width direction of the first space (in fig. 4, the width direction is the left-right direction). The first rectangular blocking piece 122 is relatively large in size and the second rectangular blocking piece 123 is relatively small in size, and the combination of the first rectangular blocking piece 122 and the second rectangular blocking piece 123 is easier to identify from the image, and is more convenient for determining the end point of the edge arc of the fillet, so that the radius of the edge arc of the fillet determined during detection is closer to the true radius of the edge arc of the fillet.
In the present disclosure, the size of the first rectangular blocking piece 122 is not particularly limited, and as an optional embodiment, the width of the first rectangular blocking piece 122 is between 40 μm and 60 μm, the length b of the first rectangular blocking piece 122 is between 100 μm and 200 μm, and the width direction of the first rectangular blocking piece 122 is consistent with the length direction of the main corner edge corresponding to the rectangular block arrangement sub-region where the first rectangular blocking piece 122 is located.
As described hereinbefore, the tangent to the edge arc of the fillet passes through the rectangular block arrangement sub-region. The allowable size error range for the finally obtained display panel is ± 50 μm to ± 100 μm. Therefore, the length of the first rectangular blocking piece 122 is between 100 μm and 200 μm, and as long as the cutting is completed, the remaining portion of the first rectangular blocking piece can still be seen on the finally obtained display panel, and the cutting meets the precision requirement. As an alternative, the radius of the edge arc of the finally obtained fillet area may be 1.5mm, and correspondingly, the radius of the arc-shaped block may be 1.5mm ± (50 μm to 100 μm).
In the present disclosure, the width of the first space between two adjacent first rectangular blocking pieces 122 is not particularly limited, and optionally, the width of the first space between two adjacent first rectangular blocking pieces is between 10 μm and 15 μm. The width of the first space is limited to 10 μm to 15 μm, which not only reduces the difficulty of manufacturing the first rectangular blocking piece 122 and the second rectangular blocking piece 123, but also can well block the white edge of the initial display substrate.
In order to obtain a good shielding effect, as an optional implementation manner, in the same arc-shaped block arrangement sub-area, a plurality of arc-shaped shielding blocks 121 are arranged at equal intervals. Further, the width of the second interval w (see fig. 6) between adjacent two arc-shaped stoppers 121 is between 10 μm and 15 μm.
As an alternative embodiment, in the same arc-shaped block arrangement sub-area, the arrangement pitch P (see fig. 6) of the arc-shaped blocking blocks is between 45 μm and 55 μm, and preferably, the arrangement pitch P is 50 μm. Here, the "arrangement pitch" refers to a distance between width center lines (dotted lines in fig. 6) of two adjacent arc-shaped blocks.
The size of each arc-shaped block piece may be determined by defining the arrangement pitch P of the arc-shaped block pieces and the second interval w between adjacent two arc-shaped block pieces, for example, the width of each arc-shaped block piece may be about 40 μm. In the present disclosure, as an optional implementation manner, 5 to 10 arc-shaped blocking pieces are provided in the same arc-shaped block arrangement sub-area. Set up 5 to 10 arcs in same arc piece subregion of arranging and hide the position error that the dog can satisfy the fillet. That is to say, as long as the arc-shaped blocking piece still remains on the display panel after the cutting is finished, the cutting meets the precision requirement. As an alternative embodiment, 7 arc-shaped blocking pieces may be provided in the arc-shaped block arrangement sub-area.
As an alternative embodiment, 7 arc-shaped blocking pieces can be arranged in the same arc-shaped arrangement sub-area.
As described above, the arc-shaped block arrangement sub-region and the rectangular block arrangement sub-region are located within the allowable range of the processing accuracy of the cutting line. In order to facilitate the identification of whether the processed round angle is qualified, optionally, as shown in fig. 3, the round angle region to be processed, where the arc-shaped blocking piece is disposed, further includes an auxiliary blocking piece arrangement sub-region located between the arc-shaped block arrangement sub-region and a vertex of a corresponding corner, where a non-rectangular first auxiliary blocking piece 140 is disposed in the auxiliary blocking piece arrangement sub-region. After the processing is finished, if the corner is detected to have a non-rectangular first auxiliary shielding block 1410 outside the arc block arrangement sub-region (i.e. the side deviating from the product region) except the arc block arrangement sub-region, it indicates that the obtained fillet is unqualified in size.
In order to reduce the processing difficulty and facilitate the detection of the existence of the rectangular blocking piece after the processing is completed, optionally, a non-rectangular second auxiliary blocking piece 160 is disposed in an area on the to-be-processed area except for the to-be-processed fillet area. The shape of the second auxiliary blocking piece 160 is greatly different from that of the rectangular blocking piece, so that the second auxiliary blocking piece 160 is conveniently distinguished from the rectangular blocking piece after the figure is acquired, and the end point position of the edge arc of the fillet is more accurately determined. As an alternative embodiment, a third auxiliary block piece 150 may be disposed in an inner region of the arc-shaped block piece, and the shape of the third auxiliary block piece 150 may be identical to that of the first auxiliary block piece 140. The periphery of the product area can be better shielded by arranging the third auxiliary shielding block 150, and the processing difficulty is reduced.
Before the round corner is processed, the processing equipment needs to be aligned, and as an alternative embodiment, a positioning mark can be arranged on the initial substrate. Before starting the machining, the position of the positioning mark is determined.
In the present disclosure, the specific form of the alignment mark is not particularly limited. For example, a pattern for easy recognition may be formed in the non-display area of the original substrate.
In the present disclosure, the number of shielding patterns provided in the non-display area of the initial display substrate is large, and for convenience of identification, as an optional embodiment, a notch may be formed in a corner of the initial display substrate, and the notch may be used as a positioning mark. Specifically, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the corner of the initial display substrate further includes two auxiliary corner edges (an auxiliary corner edge L3 and an auxiliary corner edge L4, respectively) whose extending directions intersect with each other, so as to form a positioning notch corner at the corner of the initial display substrate, the vertex of the positioning notch corner being an intersection of the two auxiliary corner edges, and the positioning notch corner protrudes toward the product area.
In order to capture the positioning notch angle when aligning the processing device, the positioning notch angle should have a relatively large size. In order to enlarge the size of the positioning notch angle, the vertex of the positioning notch angle can be positioned in the inner part of the arc-shaped block arrangement sub-area. Correspondingly, as shown in fig. 2 and 5, the vertex of the positioning notch angle is located in the arc block arrangement subregion, and the arc blocking block located outside the vertex of the positioning notch angle includes a first arc blocking block 121a and a second arc blocking block 121b, that is, the arc blocking block located at the periphery is divided into two parts, namely, the first arc blocking block 121a and the second arc blocking block 121b, by the positioning notch angle.
In the present disclosure, there is no particular limitation on other structures on the initial display substrate. For example, when the initial display substrate is used as a color film substrate, the initial display substrate may further include a color film layer located in the product area. For another example, the initial display substrate may further include a pixel circuit, a light emitting element, and the like in the product area.
As a second aspect of the present disclosure, an initial display panel is provided, where the initial display panel includes an initial display substrate and an initial cell-to-cell substrate disposed in a cell-to-cell with the initial display substrate, where the initial display substrate is the initial display substrate provided in the first aspect of the present disclosure.
The initial display panel may be for forming a liquid crystal display panel. Correspondingly, the initial display panel further comprises a layer of liquid crystal material between the initial display substrate and the initial pair of cell substrates. The initial display panel can be provided with a color film layer, and the initial box-aligning substrate can be provided with a pixel circuit array.
The initial display panel may also be used to form an organic light emitting diode display panel, and the initial display substrate may have pixel circuits and light emitting elements disposed thereon. The initial pair of cassette substrates may be package cover plates.
The following describes a method for inspecting a display panel, specifically, a display panel obtained by removing a portion of a region to be processed of an initial display substrate and a corresponding portion on the initial pair of box substrates for the initial display panel provided by the second aspect of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 9, the method includes:
in step S110, acquiring an image of a corner region of the display panel;
in step S120, determining the position of the remaining rectangular block in the image obtained by removing part of the material of the rectangular blocking piece;
in step S130, determining the radius of the edge arc of the fillet area according to the position of the remaining rectangular block closest to the edge arc of the fillet area;
in step S140, whether the fillet area is qualified is determined according to the fillet radius.
As described above, when the initial display panel is cut and/or ground, the entire region to be processed 120 is partially removed, and a corresponding portion of the cassette substrate is also removed, as shown in fig. 7, and the remaining portion of the region to be processed 120 is formed as an edge shielding region 120' of the display panel.
In the present disclosure, when the radius of the edge arc calculated in step S130 is consistent with the preset radius, the display panel is determined to be qualified, and when the radius of the edge arc calculated in step S130 is not consistent with the preset radius, the display panel is determined to be unqualified.
As shown in fig. 8, the partially arc-shaped shutter blocks are completely removed. As an alternative embodiment, one arc-shaped blocking piece is partially removed, and a partially removed arc-shaped blocking piece 121' remains on the display panel, and a portion of the arc-shaped blocking piece 121 remains in the display panel.
In order to more quickly judge whether the display panel is qualified, whether the display panel is qualified or not can be judged by identifying whether the image further comprises a rectangular blocking piece, an arc blocking piece, the shape of the rectangular blocking piece and the shape of the arc blocking piece. If the arc-shaped blocking blocks are not arranged in the image, the excessive area to be processed is removed, and the display panel is unqualified. If the image has no rectangular blocking piece and no residual part of the rectangular blocking piece, the excessive area to be processed is removed, and the display panel is unqualified. If all the rectangular blocking blocks are complete, the removed area to be processed is too small, and the display panel is unqualified. If the first auxiliary blocking piece is reserved on the outer side of the arc-shaped blocking piece, the area to be processed, which is removed from the surface, is too small, and the display panel is unqualified.
As a third aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a display panel, including a display substrate and a pair-box substrate disposed in a pair-box manner with the display substrate, the display substrate including a display area and a peripheral area disposed around the display area, the peripheral area including a plurality of rounded corner areas, the plurality of rounded corner areas being respectively disposed at a plurality of corners of the display substrate, the corners including two main corner edges whose extending directions intersect, wherein at least one of the rounded corner areas includes a final arc block arrangement sub-area and two final rectangular block arrangement sub-areas, the two main corner edges being respectively outer edges of the two final rectangular block arrangement sub-areas, the final arc block arrangement sub-area being disposed between the two final rectangular block arrangement sub-areas,
the display substrate further comprises a plurality of residual rectangles arranged in the final rectangular block arrangement sub-area and at least one arc-shaped blocking block arranged in the final arc-shaped block arrangement sub-area, wherein the arc-shaped blocking block faces away from the direction of the product area and protrudes, and the radian of the arc-shaped blocking block is consistent with that of the edge arc of the round corner area.
The display panel is obtained by removing part of the area to be processed from the initial display panel provided by the second aspect of the disclosure. As described above, the production yield is high when the display panel is manufactured.
It is to be understood that the above embodiments are merely exemplary embodiments that are employed to illustrate the principles of the present disclosure, and that the present disclosure is not limited thereto. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications can be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the disclosure, and these are to be considered as the scope of the disclosure.
