Description

Baby carriage with adjustable frame width
Technical Field
The utility model belongs to the manual transportation field, baby's handcart promptly.
Background
As is known, strollers include a frame that generally includes front and rear wheel assemblies at the bottom of the frame below the frame, a support device on the frame to hold the child's body, and a locking mechanism for securing the frame. The stroller is collapsible in the deployed position.
According to a general trend, children go through different stages of growth and development with various types of strollers, from large strollers and spacious bassinets to compact strollers, which can play or walk without the need for a crib.
A necessary advantage of the trolley is therefore the possibility of structural changes thereof, in order to increase the options of use, for example to extend the service life of the trolley during growth.
The applicant has come to know several solutions aimed at solving this problem, among which, as an essential feature, the following are the ones that follow.
Strollers are known in which the width of the seat base and backrest is adjustable. This design of the stroller can be used to accommodate one or two children. In this case, the seat width is adjusted by changing the relative position of the tubular elements on the lower part of the rear wheel support, and the seat base is made up of two parts, one part of the base entering into a recess of the second part of the base (chinese patent CN 105109536B, 10/31/2017). The disadvantage of this stroller is that the width of the seat is adjusted by merely changing the design of the lower portion of the rear wheel support frame, which can cause the base and back of the seat to return to their original positions if one of the securing elements in the supporting position is damaged. In addition, the surface of the base and the rear surface of the seat are uneven and are characterized by the presence of a longitudinal strip formed as a result of one part of the base entering a recess in another part, which can cause discomfort to the child in the stroller.
There is also known a three-wheeled stroller having the capability of making structural modifications to the frame and extending it from a single-person mode to a double-person mode. These changes in frame design are achieved by mounting an additional insert on the rear axle, and an additional insert on the handle, which insert is integrated with the connecting bracket with the rear axle and the center pole with the front wheel assembly of the baby carriage. In this case, all transformations were carried out without any additional help (US 6550802B 2, 4/22/2003). A disadvantage of this stroller is that the width of the frame varies without additional fastening elements, which on the one hand simplifies the deformation of the frame, but on the other hand may lead to a sudden assembly of the stroller during movement, for example when driving on uneven roads. In addition to this, one of the main drawbacks of three-wheeled trolleys is the difficulty of using in the presence of stairs or curbs, since the structure rests on the front wheels, losing stability and balance.
The closest similar product is a four wheeled stroller comprising a frame consisting of an articulated front wheel support, a rear wheel support equipped with a wheel mounting assembly and a handle support comprising a removable seat or bracket fixed in a mounted position, with horizontal links placed between the support bars of the rear and front wheels. The design of the stroller provides a width adjustment function of the frame to effect a child seat replacement, such as by expanding, replacing the child seat with a basket of food debris or toys, and expanding the frame and using special elements to mount at least one other form of child seat, food basket, etc. Special fixing elements are used on the central support of the cart and additional space is fixed on the central support of the cart. In this design, it is also possible to expand the child seat and fix the partition on it, in addition to expanding the frame itself, in order to accommodate two children in the seat at the same time (US 8899615B2, 12 months and 12 months 2014). A disadvantage of such a trolley is that it is bulky and heavy due to the fact that: at least one seat is mounted using fixing elements on the central frame support bar of the trolley and on the side shafts of the base, while changing the width of the trolley does not allow to transform the whole heavy trolley into a compact and a portable one and vice versa.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
The task of the present invention is to fix the frame of the pushchair by varying the width of the frame and by simplifying the design of the pushchair, thus providing the possibility of using cradles or seats of different sizes and weights alternately on one frame of the pushchair. The design of the stroller is simplified compared to the prior art, and the workload of changing the bassinet or seat can be minimized by improving the deformation and fastening elements, while maintaining the stability and reliability of the stroller structure during operation.
This problem is solved by the fact that: the cart includes a frame consisting of an articulated front wheel support bar, a rear wheel support bar equipped with a wheel assembly, and a handle support bar, the frame containing a removable seat or bracket fixed at a mounting point, with a horizontal link placed between the rear wheel and the front wheel support bar. According to the invention, the frame consists of two half-frames and the length and position of the horizontal connectors are variable, so that they can be fixed at least in a first position of the frame adjustment and at least in a second position of the frame adjustment. At the same time, in the first position of the adjustment frame, the mounting points are located in the seat half-frame, which mounting points are adapted to fix holes and/or protruding parts and/or adapters of the fixtures of the movable seat or support made of the frame, and in the second position of the frame adjustment, the mounting points also contain front wheel supports and handle supports, which enable the detachable seat and the sewn bassinet to be mounted more compactly and more lightly in this position.
The technical result of this embodiment is that, using the same frame, it is possible to change the type and weight of the pushchair, even if the overall weight is reduced to a light weight, and vice versa, by changing the width thereof and changing the cradle or seat from the frame to a design that is easy to sew. A minimum number of structural elements is used while maintaining the reliability of the structure.
Further, in a particular embodiment of the claimed invention, the first position of the frame adjustment corresponds to a larger frame width and the second position of the frame adjustment corresponds to a narrower frame width, and in another embodiment of the claimed invention, the first frame adjustment position corresponds to a narrower frame width and the second frame adjustment position corresponds to a wider frame width.
This design can be used if it is desired to mount the bassinet or sewing stand or seat on both the narrower frame and the wider frame.
For example, a sewing seat or sewing bassinet may be placed on a wider frame, which may reduce weight compared to a frame seat and bassinet, and which provides more comfort space for the child compared to a narrower frame. In some cases, the number of frame positions may not be limited to two, but may be adjusted according to the needs and desires of the user and in view of the available size of the carrier or seat. The design of the stroller frame also provides the ability to mount the car seat on the frame, thereby optimizing space when transporting a child into the car, as the frame is simply brought along into the trunk, rather than the entire stroller.
In this case, the horizontal connectors can be made as telescopically connected tubular elements, which are detachable, which makes it possible to completely disassemble the frame for its more compact storage and transport, or to add other components if necessary. The telescopic connection of the tubular elements is a single piece. But is slidable and adjustable in width, providing additional security during use.
In some cases, the horizontal connectors may be made removable and/or replaceable, and/or the type of additional elements may be installed, depending on the width of the frame adjustment, according to the claimed embodiments of the invention.
The above various horizontal connector implementations can be used to ensure the implementation of the nature of the technical model, but do not limit the design examples, and the number may be much larger.
According to another embodiment of the claimed invention, the width of the handle corresponds to the width of the frame adjustment, and in another embodiment, the handle is detachable and/or movable according to the width of the frame adjustment.
In this case, the wheel mounts of the front wheel support bar and/or the rear wheel support bar can be replaced with wheels of different sizes and weights, so that the weight of the buggy can be adjusted and reduced if necessary.
The advantage of this constructive solution is that the invention can be used in various conditions, for example, in winter or on rough roads, with larger wheels, and in summer and on flat park roads or when handling baby carriages in cars, with lighter wheels.
By describing the structure made according to this technical solution, it is possible to confirm the possibility of realizing the utility model featuring the above-described features and the possibility of realizing the object thereof.

Detailed Description
As can be seen from the figures, the proposed stroller comprises a frame 1 consisting of half- frames 2 and 3, each half-frame comprising a front wheel support 4, a rear wheel support 5, a handle support 6, which are connected by a hinge 7, as shown in fig. 1 and 2. On the supports 4 and 5 there is provided a wheel mounting assembly 8, to which wheel mounting assembly 8 a wheel 9 is attached, the size of the wheel 9 being replaceable, as shown in figures 9-14. The half- frames 2 and 3 are connected by means of horizontal links 10 and 11, of variable length, which in the embodiment shown are tubular elements telescopically connected, fixed to the lower part of the support rods of the front 4 and rear 5 wheels, and provided with fixing means in at least a first or at least a second position of the adjuster of the frame 1. Various fastening options may be used as a means of fixing the horizontal connectors 10 and 11 in the desired position, for example combining a screw 12 with a clamp 13 tightened by a screw 14 at different positions of the telescopic parts of the horizontal connectors 10, 11. As shown in fig. 7 and 8, where the reliability and rigidity of the connection is provided by a clamp 13 tightened by a screw 14, the screw 12 acts as a guide and increases the stability of the structure. In this case, the frame 1 can be in at least a first or at least a second position, thanks to the telescopic connection and the fixation of the horizontal connectors 10 and 11. As shown in fig. 9-14, the telescoping connection can be made removable and non-removable.
On the half- frames 2 and 3 of the frame 1, mounting points are formed, which may have the form of adapters and/or holes and/or projecting parts 15, which may be present on the frame 1 in different forms together or individually or in various combinations, allowing the frame seat or cradle 16 to use its own fastening means adapted to the frame, depending on the interaction with the mounting location. In the illustration, the mounting position is a protruding part 15 on the hinge 7, as shown in fig. 9, which protruding part 15 contains the frame seat or bassinet, but in another embodiment the protruding part 15 may be a recess, or the mounting position 15 is a transition adapter between the bassinet and the frame, as shown in fig. 10, which allows mounting the bassinet in a higher position. As shown in the drawings, the handle support bar 6 and the groove 18 of the front wheel support bar, the hole 15 of the rear wheel support bar 5 and the protrusion 15 of the front wheel support bar 4 are used together with the above-described bar for fixing the sewing seat and the bassinet. The sewing seat and bassinet 17 may be mounted directly on the front wheel support 4 and the handle support 6 and secured using protrusions and/or recesses and/or holes 15 and/or otherwise contained in grooves 18 formed on the front wheel support 4 and the handle support. In the upper part of the frame 1, a wider or narrower handle 19 can be mounted between the supports of the handle 6, or a handle adjustable according to the width of the horizontal links 10, 11 fixed to the handle support 6 by loosening/tightening the screws 20 on the stroller folding device 21. Furthermore, the frame 1 can be used for mounting and transporting car seats 22 in different width adapters 15 for the frame, so that it is convenient to transport children in cars. That is, the mounting points of both the frame 16 and the sewing 17 may be protrusions, holes, recesses 15, and the like. The essential difference between the frame structure and sewing is its own seat frame or cradle containing sewing. In the case of a sewn seat, the frame containing the sewing is the stroller frame 1 itself, which is formed by the two half- frames 2 and 3, so that a compact size and lighter weight can be obtained.
Changing the width of the frame in the horizontal direction can turn a bassinet or seat stroller, which takes up a lot of space, into a narrower, more compact and lighter version. By adapting the respective fixing means to the frame, the bassinet or seat can be firmly fixed and can be easily and quickly removed, unlike most modern strollers which use rigid fixing means which are hardly replaceable. Examples of conversion mechanisms may provide stability to the frame structure, but it should be noted that the design options may vary, either purely mechanically, or using semi-automatic means such as fixed spring latch types, while the links may be covered with protective type housings or foot stirrups. In addition, other inserts may be added to the variable length telescoping links to increase their length if necessary. Instead of a removable and/or movable telescopic tubular horizontal link, depending on the width of the frame adjustment, horizontal links may be used, and additional elements may be added to make the horizontal links. Smaller or larger wheels may be used, which may significantly affect the weight and passability of the stroller. It is also worth noting that a large stroller with a frame-type seat or cradle can be converted to a narrow stroller with a sewn seat, the size and weight of which would correspond to hand luggage, particularly on an airplane.
Since the conversion of the frame has a specific design, a large number of options are provided according to the needs of the user during operation. The claimed invention thus provides the possibility of using the pushchair for a long time in various situations.
