The finished hydrostatic pressure jaw pad of claim 1 wherein said lingual positioning portion is an inwardly concave plastic lingual button or an outwardly convex post, said lingual retainer is a retention hook disposed on opposite sides of a mandibular lingual arch, and lingual rubber bands are attached to said retention hook and said plastic lingual button or said outwardly convex post.
5. The finished hydrostatic pressure jaw pad of claim 1 wherein said adjacent hook has a collar fixedly attached to an end thereof adjacent the lingual side, said collar being removably attached to the mandibular lingual arch.
6. The finished hydrostatic pressure jaw pad of claim 1 wherein said adjacent hook has a U-shaped clip fixedly attached to an end thereof adjacent the lingual side, said U-shaped clip being movable across the mandibular lingual arch.
7. The finished hydrostatic pressure jaw pad of claim 1, wherein the height of the jaw pad body is 2-8 mm, and the width of the occlusal surface of the jaw pad body is 10-20 mm.
8. The finished hydrostatic pressure jaw pad of claim 1 wherein the mandibular-lingual arch has a cross-sectional width of 0.5 to 1.5mm on a single side and a height of 3 to 10 mm.
9. The finished hydrostatic pressure jaw pad of claim 1 wherein said buccal-side locating portion is an inwardly-concave plastic tongue button or an outwardly-convex strut, said buccal-side retractor hook and said buccal-side locating portion being in a retained connection by means of a buccal-side elastic band.
