Fig. 1A is a schematic view of a state in which an ink cartridge according to the present invention is combined with an ink cartridge accommodating member of an inkjet image forming apparatus; fig. 1B is a perspective view of the ink cartridge accommodating member according to the present invention.
To more clearly show the coupling of the ink cartridge 100 to the inkjet image forming apparatus, the inkjet image forming apparatus only shows the cartridge accommodating part 200 for accommodating the ink cartridge in fig. 1A, and the ink cartridge 100 is detachably coupled to the cartridge accommodating part 200. The ink cartridge 100 includes a casing 10 and an ink outlet portion 14 located below the casing 10, and ink is accommodated in a cavity enclosed by the casing 10 and supplied to the inkjet image forming apparatus through the ink outlet portion 14.
As shown in the figure, the ink cartridge 100 further includes a chip mounting portion 13 provided on the front panel 11, an ink outlet portion 14 is provided on the lower panel 12, and a chip for establishing communication connection between the ink cartridge 100 and the inkjet image forming apparatus is mounted on the chip mounting portion 13; the cartridge accommodating member 200 includes a housing 21, a plurality of ink suction needles 22 and a plurality of receiving grooves 23 formed in the housing 21, the number of ink suction needles 22, receiving grooves 23 and ink cartridges 100 corresponding one to one, and when the ink cartridges 100 are mounted, the ink suction needles 22 are inserted into the ink outlet part 14, so that ink is supplied to the inkjet image forming apparatus through the ink suction needles 22.
[ example one ]
FIG. 2 is a partially exploded view of an ink cartridge according to an embodiment of the present invention; fig. 3 is a plan view of an ink cartridge according to an embodiment of the present invention, as viewed from the top down; fig. 4A is a cross-sectional view of an ink cartridge according to an embodiment of the present invention, taken along the left and right direction thereof; fig. 4B is a perspective view of the ink cartridge according to the first embodiment of the present invention, when the inside of the ink cartridge is viewed from the top down.
As shown in fig. 2, the ink cartridge 100 further includes a sealing plug 15 installed in the ink outlet portion 14, the sealing plug 15 having a self-sealing function, the ink suction needle 22 is inserted into the sealing plug 15 when the ink cartridge 100 is installed, and the sealing plug 15 can be automatically sealed once the ink suction needle 22 is separated from the sealing plug 15 when the ink cartridge 100 is removed. In the present invention, the ink cartridge 100 is fixed to the cartridge container 200 by holding the ink suction needle 22 with the sealing plug 15.
The manner in which the sealing plug 15 is "hugged" by the ink-absorbing needle 22 in this embodiment will be described below.
As shown in the figure, the ink outlet portion 14 includes a cylindrical body 14a formed to extend downward from the lower panel 12 of the housing, and a pushing member 14c provided in the cylindrical body 14a, the pushing member 14c being configured to apply a radially inward pushing force to the sealing plug 15, thereby forcing the sealing plug 15 to "hug" the ink suction needle 22.
Further, the urging member 14c includes a base portion 14c1 extending radially inward from the cylindrical body inner surface 14b and an urging portion 14c2 extending from the base portion 14c1, and preferably, the urging portion 14c2 extends in a direction parallel to the center line of the cylindrical body 14a, or, the urging portion 14c2 extends in the up-down direction of the ink cartridge 100, and a gap 14d is formed between the urging portion 14c2 and the cylindrical body inner surface 14b in the radial direction of the cylindrical body 14a, so that the urging portion 14c2 is deformable in a plane substantially perpendicular to the up-down direction of the ink cartridge, and when the urging portion 14c2 applies an urging force in the direction of the gap 14d, the urging portion 14c2 generates a reaction force in a direction away from the gap 14d or in a direction toward the center line of the cylindrical body 14 a.
Alternatively, the movement of the urging portion 14c2 may be realized by an elastic member, for example, an elastic member is provided between the urging portion 14c2 and the cylinder inner surface 14b, the urging portion 14c2 and the elastic member together constitute the urging member, and the urging portion 14c2 is urged by the elastic member toward the center line direction of the cylinder 14a, and in general, the urging portion 14c2 is movable in a plane substantially perpendicular to the up-down direction of the ink cartridge.
Preferably, the urging member 14c is provided in two or a multiple of two arranged diametrically opposite to each other along the cylinder inner surface 14b, and when the ink suction needle 22 is inserted into the sealing plug 15, the force applied to the sealing plug 15 by the ink suction needle 22 is transmitted to the urging portion 14c2, and as described above, the reaction force generated by the urging portion 14c2 is applied to the ink suction needle 22 through the sealing plug 15, and thus the sealing plug 15 and the ink suction needle 22 are "clasped".
Further, as shown in fig. 4B, a plurality of guiding grooves 16 are further provided in the housing 10 adjacent to the ink outlet 14, the guiding grooves 16 are communicated with the ink outlet 14, and when the ink cartridge 100 is operated, the guiding grooves 16 are used for supplying the ink stored therein to the ink outlet 14 to ensure the continuity of the ink supply, and preferably, the guiding grooves 16 are arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction of the ink outlet 14.
[ example two ]
FIG. 5 is a partially exploded view of an ink cartridge according to a second embodiment of the present invention; fig. 6 is a plan view of an ink cartridge according to a second embodiment of the present invention, as viewed from the top down; fig. 7 is a cross-sectional view of an ink cartridge according to a second embodiment of the present invention, the cross-sectional view being cut in the left-right direction.
In this embodiment, the ink cartridge 100 is fixedly mounted in the cartridge accommodating member 200 by the frictional force between the inner surface 15a of the sealing plug 15 and the ink absorbing needle 22. For example, the friction between the sealing plug 15 and the ink suction needle 22 can be increased by changing the material of the sealing plug 15 or attaching a rough member to the inner surface 15a of the sealing plug 15, so that the purpose of "holding" the sealing plug 15 and the ink suction needle 22 is achieved by the friction.
The ink cartridge 100 of the present embodiment does not require the above-described urging member 14c in the ink outlet portion 14, and thus contributes to simplifying the structure of the ink cartridge 100, while, as shown in fig. 6 and 7, a plurality of guide grooves 16 are further provided in the interior of the casing 10 adjacent to the ink outlet portion 14 to ensure continuity of ink supply.
[ third example ]
In this embodiment, the ink cartridge 100 is no longer fixedly mounted by the friction force between the ink discharging portion 14 and the ink absorbing needle 22, as shown in fig. 2, the ink cartridge 100 further includes a rib 17 extending downward from the lower panel 12, the extending direction of the rib 17 is the same as the extending direction of the ink discharging portion 14, and one rib 17 is provided in each of the front and rear directions of the ink discharging portion 14 along the front and rear directions, so that the ink discharging portion 14 is protected by the rib 17 in the front and rear directions.
As shown in fig. 1B, the accommodating groove 23 has a first side 23a and a second side 23B opposite to each other, and when the ink cartridge 100 is mounted to the cartridge accommodating member 200, the rib 17 is pressed against the first side 23a and the second side 23B, and the purpose of fixedly mounting the ink cartridge 100 to the cartridge accommodating member 200 is achieved by the friction force between the rib 17 and the first side 23a and the second side 23B.
Similarly, the ink cartridge 100 may be mounted in such a manner that rough members are attached to the left and right sides of the rib 17 or the rib 17 has a dimension slightly larger than the distance between the first side surface 23a and the second side surface 23b in the left-right direction.
As described above, the ink cartridge 100 of the present invention uses the friction force between the fixing member extending downward from the lower panel 12 and the ink cartridge accommodating member 200 to fixedly mount the ink cartridge 100, wherein the fixing member may be the rib 17, the sealing plug 15, or the pressing portion including the sealing plug 15 and the pressing portion which presses the sealing plug 15 and moves in the plane substantially perpendicular to the up-down direction of the ink cartridge. Obviously, the fixing member is located below the chip mounting portion 13 in the up-down direction of the ink cartridge 100, instead of being provided on the front panel 11 together with the chip mounting portion 13; for the ink box, the ink outlet 14 is necessary to be arranged, therefore, the ink box 100 of the present invention utilizes the friction force between the ink outlet 14 or the rib 17 adjacent to the ink outlet 14 and the ink box container 200 to fix the ink box 100, and the defect of increasing the packaging volume of the ink box 100 will not occur.
