Description

Height-adjustable unit, height-adjustable table and chair
Technical Field
The utility model relates to a height-adjustable unit, it includes at least one shank, and the shank has first section bar and second section bar, but the second section bar is inserted in first section bar with axial displacement's mode, is provided with fixing device, and fixing device can be in displacement position and fixed position, and the second section bar can remove for first section bar in displacement position to the second section bar is fixed relative to first section bar in fixed position, and fixing device can actuate with the help of actuating device.
Background
A height-adjustable unit of this type is known from DE 202018107287U 1. Previously known height adjustable units are height adjustable legs for camping articles, the fixing means being formed such that the length of the leg can be continuously adjusted.
For this purpose, a first fixing device is assigned to the first profile and a second fixing device is assigned to the second profile. The first fixing means engages in the second fixing means in a fixing position. In the fixing position, the first fixing means engages in the second fixing means in a non-rigid manner. By means of the actuating device, the fixing device can be brought from the fixing position into a displacement position, in which the second profile can be inserted into or extracted from the first profile.
The first fixing device comprises a spring device which automatically brings the first fixing device into the fixing position. The actuating device is formed as a rocker, the securing device being brought from a securing position into a position-shifting position when the rocker is actuated. This allows for a simple and fast adjustment of the height adjustable leg.
However, in the units known from the prior art, the actuating means are assigned directly to the fixing means or are part of the fixing means. The actuating means are therefore usually located near the free end of the height-adjustable leg, in other words, generally intended to be close to the ground during use. This makes it more difficult to simply and quickly grasp the actuation device.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
The object of the present invention is to develop a height-adjustable unit such that it can be actuated in a simpler and more ergonomic manner.
In order to achieve this object, a height-adjustable unit is provided comprising at least one leg having a first profile and a second profile, the second profile being inserted in an axially movable manner into the first profile, a fixing device being provided which can be brought into a displacement position in which the second profile can be moved relative to the first profile and a fixing position in which the second profile is fixed relative to the first profile, the fixing device being actuatable by means of an actuating device which is spaced apart from the fixing device.
The actuating means is spaced from the fixing means. Due to this functional separation of the fixation means and the actuation means, the actuation means may be arranged at a different location than the fixation means. It is thus conceivable that the fixing means are arranged at one end of the height-adjustable unit, while the actuating means are arranged at the other end. This allows for a simple and fast gripping of the actuation means. In particular, the operator does not have to bend down for height adjustment.
Between the actuating means and the fixing means, means for transmitting mechanical movements may be arranged. It is generally envisaged that the actuation means is an electrical button and that the signal may be transmitted via an electrical wire. However, this assumes that the fixture has at least one electric motor for adjustment, and this is relatively expensive. The means for transferring mechanical movement may for example be formed as a lever system and this allows for a simple actuation and does not require any auxiliary energy.
The fixation device may be actuated by an actuation device via a cable pull. This type of cable puller is also known as a bowden cable. In the cable puller, the cable, preferably a steel wire cable, runs in a sheath which is formed to absorb compressive stresses in the longitudinal direction. The sheath is preferably formed as a plastic sheath, but may further be provided with a woven layer of textile or metal fibers for reinforcement. The rope may be movable in a longitudinal direction within a sheath, which may be rigidly secured to the highly adjustable unit in a manner enabling the rope to transmit tension. Thus, it is possible to actuate the actuation means and thus to transmit the tension to the fixation means via the cable pull such that the means is moved from the fixation position into the displacement position.
The actuation means may comprise a lever. The lever can be actuated in a particularly simple manner and allows the mechanical movement to be transmitted via a lever system or via a cable pull.
The lever can be automatically held in the first position by the first spring element, the fixation means being in the fixation position when the lever is in the first position, and the fixation means being moved from the first position into the displacement position when the lever is actuated. Thus, the fixing means is automatically held in a fixed position, so that a mechanical load can be applied to the height adjustable unit. For adjusting the height-adjustable unit, the actuating device is actuated so as to move from the fixed position into the displaced position. In this position, the length of the height adjustable unit can be adjusted.
The height-adjustable unit may comprise two legs, each having a second profile and a second fixing means. Particularly preferably, the height-adjustable unit comprises four legs. In particular, camping tables and chairs comprise four legs, which, with all four legs being height-adjustable, enable particularly firm standing even on uneven ground. The camping table or chair is preferably equipped with two height adjustable units, each comprising two height adjustable legs.
In an advantageous embodiment, the two fixing means, in other words the fixing means of the two height-adjustable legs, can be actuated synchronously by the actuating means. In this embodiment, the movement from the fixed position to the displaced position takes place simultaneously in two fixing devices assigned to two height-adjustable legs of each other. Thus, both legs can be adjusted simultaneously.
In this embodiment, the camping table or chair comprises two actuation means, each controlling two height-adjustable legs. Thus, one actuating means can be actuated with one hand and the other actuating means with the other hand, so that the height of all four legs can be adjusted simultaneously.
In an advantageous embodiment, the second spring element is arranged in the first profile and automatically moves the second profile into the retracted position. If the camping table or chair is now placed on an uneven ground and both actuating means are actuated, the chair can be adjusted by simply pressing and orienting downwards. It is not necessary to adjust each leg individually, which is time consuming and difficult. Rather, the camping table or chair may be oriented by a one-handed movement.
The first profile may be formed in a U-shape, the second profile being inserted into each of the free ends of the profiles. In this case, the first profile is a component of both legs. The first profile may be formed as a single piece, thereby enabling a cost-effective height adjustable unit.
The actuating means can be assigned to the base of the U-shaped first profile. In the case of a camping table or chair, the actuating device or both actuating devices are in each case located in an edge region below the seat surface or table top. Thus, the height adjustable unit can be gripped in an ergonomic manner.
According to the utility model discloses a desk with adjustable height, including the desktop, the desktop below is connected with two height-adjustable unit. In each case two actuating devices are provided, which are each operatively connected to two fixing devices.
According to the present invention, a height adjustable chair comprises a seat surface below which two height adjustable units are connected, preferably two actuating devices are provided, each being operatively connected to two fixing devices.

Detailed Description
The figures show a height adjustable unit 1 for camping articles. In particular, camping tables and chairs are conceivable as camping items. However, in addition, camping supplies in the form of ladders, lounge chairs, and racks, etc. are also contemplated.
The height adjustable unit 1 comprises at least one leg 2, the leg 2 having a first profile 3 and a second profile 4, each preferably made of a metallic material. However, the first profile 3 and the second profile 4 can also be made of plastic material. The first profile 3 and the second profile 4 have a circular cross section in plan view and are formed as hollow profiles. The diameter of the second profile 4 is smaller than the diameter of the first profile 3. The second profile 4 can thus be inserted in an axially displaceable manner into the first profile 3. The diameter of the profiles 3, 4 is chosen such that the profiles 3, 4 slide on each other during displacement.
A fixing device 5 is provided, which fixing device 5 can be brought into a displacement position, in which the second profile 4 can be moved relative to the first profile 3, and a fixing position, in which the second profile 4 is fixed relative to the first profile 3. The fixing means 5 are formed such that the second profile 4 is non-rigidly fixed with respect to the first profile 3. For this purpose, the fixing device 5 has a rocker, to one side of which a first spring element 9 is assigned and presses the other side of the rocker against the second profile 4 and thus fixes said profile non-rigidly with respect to the first profile 3.
The fixation means 5 may be actuated by means of an actuating means 6, the actuating means 6 being spaced apart from the fixation means 5. Between the actuating means 6 and the fixing means 5, means for transmitting mechanical movements are arranged. The device is currently formed as a cable pull 7, which is also referred to as a bowden cable.
The actuating means 6 comprises a lever 8, the lever 8 being automatically held in a first position by a first spring element 9, the fixation means 5 being in the fixation position when the lever 8 is in the first position, and the fixation means 5 being moved from the first position into the displacement position when the lever 8 is actuated.
In the present embodiment, the cable pull 7 is arranged within the first profile 3 and is therefore not visible.
In the embodiment of fig. 1, the height adjustable unit comprises two legs 2 each having a second profile 4 and a fixing means 5. The two fixing means 5 can be actuated synchronously by the actuating means 6.

The second spring element 10 is arranged inside the first profile 3 and is formed as a compression spring, and the second spring element 10 automatically slides the second profile 4 out of the first profile 3 when the fixing device 5 is in the displacement position. In this embodiment, the height adjustable unit 1 is oriented by pressing the height adjustable unit 1 downward, so that the leg portion 2 automatically adjusts the height and orients.
In the embodiment of fig. 1, the height adjustable unit 1 is in a fixed position.
Fig. 2 is a side view of the height adjustable unit 1 according to fig. 1.
Fig. 3 shows the height adjustable unit 1 according to fig. 1 in a displaced position. The lever 8 of the actuating means 6 has been actuated and the mechanical movement is transmitted to the fixing means 5 via the cable pull 7 placed inside the first profile 3, which fixing means 5 is thus moved into the displacement position. In this position, two further second spring elements 10 press the second profile 4 out of the first profile 3, and the height-adjustable unit 1 can be brought to the desired height and into the desired direction by pressing it downwards.
Fig. 4 is a side view of the height adjustable unit 1 according to fig. 3.
Fig. 5 shows a height-adjustable table 12, which is now a camping table, which height-adjustable table 12 comprises a table top 11 and two height-adjustable units 1 according to any of the preceding figures, each comprising two legs 2. A height-adjustable chair, in particular a camping chair, is in principle formed in a manner similar to a height-adjustable table, as well as two height-adjustable units 1, comprising a seating surface instead of a table top and optionally additionally a backrest.
