Fig. 5 is a side view of the ink cartridge according to the first embodiment of the present invention, which is viewed from the rear, taken in the left-right direction after being mounted.
In the process of mounting the ink cartridge 100 to the cartridge holder 300, the engaging portion 223 is opposite to the partition 33, and as the ink cartridge 100 is pressed downward, the two opposite engaging portions 223 start to deform in the direction away from each other in the left-right direction until the engaging portion 223 enters the engaging hole 32, and when the ink cartridge 100 is further pressed downward, the engaging surface 224 is fastened to the partition 33, and the locking member 22 is engaged with the cartridge holder 300 in the left-right direction; since the partition plate 33 is a regular rectangular parallelepiped and the joint surface 224 is perpendicular to the adjacent surface of the extension 222, the joint surface 224 and the partition plate 33 can be joined seamlessly, and the ink cartridge 100 is securely mounted on the cartridge holding part 300.
When the ink cartridge 100 needs to be taken out of the ink cartridge holding portion 300, the force receiving member 211 receives a force applied from the front to the rear, the transmission member 212 drives the guide rod 213 and the urging member 215 to move backward, the compression spring 214 is compressed, the urging member 215 enters a first gap g1 formed between two engaging rods in the locking assembly 22, the two engaging rods are forced to open the urging member 215 to move leftward and rightward (in directions away from each other), and further drive the engaging portions 223 to move leftward and rightward, respectively, when the engaging surfaces 224 are disengaged from the partition plate 33, the locking assembly 22 is unlocked, and the ink cartridge 100 is disengaged from the ink cartridge holding portion 300 and taken out upward; when the force is removed, the unlocking assembly 21 starts to move from back to front under the elastic restoring force of the compression spring 214, the urging member 215 gradually moves away from the first gap g1, and the oppositely disposed coupling rods move toward each other to be restored.
Alternatively, the returning member 214 may be disposed between the transmitting member 212 and any one of the fixed members in the operation chamber 12 in the left-right direction. For example, the reset piece 214 is sleeved on the urging piece 215 and is located between the transmission piece 212 and the second guide plate 122 or between the transmission piece 212 and the vertical plate 220, and at this time, the reset piece 214 is a compression spring; the reset member 214 may also be disposed between the front side surface 10a and the transmission member 212, in which case, the reset member 214 is a tension spring; it follows that the return member 214 may use a compression spring when the return member 214 is located rearward of the transmission member 212 and a tension spring when the return member 214 is located forward of the transmission member 212. Of course, the reset member 214 may also be an elastic rubber, a magnetic component, or the like.
As shown in fig. 2C and 5, in order to make the coupling portion 223 have a larger amount of deformation in the left-right direction, the dimension of the extending portion 222 in the left-right direction is smaller the farther away from the upright rod 221, and at this time, the extending portion 222 and the coupling portion 223 also more easily enter the coupling hole 32; preferably, the extension portion 222 is divided into a first portion 222a connected to the upright 221 and a second portion 222b connected to the coupling portion 223, the first portion 222a is located above the second portion 222b, and a dimension of the first portion 222a in the left-right direction is larger than a dimension of the second portion 222b in the left-right direction.
With respect to the urging member 215, as shown in fig. 3A, it is preferable that the free end (the end far from the transmission member 212) of the rod-shaped body 215 is gradually reduced in size, which not only facilitates the rod-shaped body 215 to rapidly enter the first gap g1, but also the rod-shaped body 215 urges the oppositely disposed coupling rods to be gradually separated rather than instantaneously separating to the maximum value after the rod-shaped body 215 enters the first gap g1, so that the probability of breakage of the coupling rods is reduced.
As shown in fig. 2B, 3A and 3B, the cartridge 1 further includes an air vent 15 disposed on the bottom case 10, and the air vent 15 is used for supplementing air to the ink chamber 11 after the ink in the ink chamber 11 is consumed so as to maintain the air pressure in the ink chamber 11 stable, so that the air vent 15 only needs to be communicated with the ink chamber 11. Preferably, the air vent 15 is provided on the lower side 10b and is disposed adjacent to the ink outlet 14, the sealing cover may simultaneously seal the air vent 15 when a sealing cover for sealing the ink outlet 14 is installed, the air vent 15 may be simultaneously opened when the end user opens the sealing cover to use the ink cartridge 100, and a sealing member for sealing the air vent 15 alone may be omitted.
As described above, although the latch device 2 according to the present invention is also provided with the reset piece 214 as an elastic member, the reset piece 214 needs to be elastically deformed only in the process of taking out the ink cartridge 100 from the cartridge holding portion 300; in the operation process of the ink cartridge 100, the reset member 214 is not affected by external force, and therefore elastic deformation does not occur, in the process of mounting the ink cartridge 100 to the cartridge holding portion 300, although the force is applied to the force-receiving member 211 to urge the two oppositely-arranged combining portions 223 to separate in the left-right direction, and further the mounting resistance of the ink cartridge 100 is reduced, even though the force is not transmitted between the unlocking assembly 21 and the locking assembly 22 without the aid of the unlocking assembly 21, the two oppositely-arranged combining portions 223 can be separated in the left-right direction only by applying downward pressure to the ink cartridge 100, and therefore, the probability of deformation fatigue of the reset member 214 in the latch device 2 is greatly reduced.

FIG. 6 is a perspective view of an ink cartridge according to a second embodiment of the present invention; fig. 7 is a perspective view of an ink cartridge according to a second embodiment of the present invention, viewed from the front right to the rear left after being cut in the front-rear direction.
In the present embodiment, the same components as those in the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals. The locking assembly 22 is still engaged with the cartridge holding part 300 in the left-right direction, and the engaging part 223 is located below the chip 13. The extending (protruding) direction of the combining portion 223 is opposite to the extending (protruding) direction of the combining portion in the first embodiment, as shown in the figure, the combining portion 223 is disposed on both the combining rods, and both the combining portions 223 still extend from the extending portion 222 in the left-right direction, but the extending direction of both the combining portions 223 is opposite, so the combining process of the locking assembly 22 and the bottom plate 30a of the ink cartridge holding portion 30 in the left-right direction is basically the same as the combining process in the first embodiment, except that the deforming direction of the combining rod/combining portion 223 is opposite to the first embodiment when the ink cartridge 100 is taken out from the ink cartridge holding portion 300, and for this reason, the structure of the unlocking assembly 21 in the present embodiment is slightly different.
As shown in fig. 7, the unlocking assembly 21 includes a force receiving member 211, a transmission member 212, a pushing member 217 and a reset member, and the reset member in the present embodiment may be the same as the above-described embodiments and will not be described again. The urging member 217 is an urging rod extending from the transmission member 212, and similarly, the urging rods 217 are two oppositely disposed in the left-right direction, and the two urging rods 217 form a second gap g2 between the left-right direction, and the second gap g2 gradually decreases from back to front in the front-rear direction.
When the ink cartridge 100 needs to be taken out from the cartridge holding part 300, the force receiving part 211 receives a force applied from the front to the rear, the force is transmitted to the urging member 217 through the transmission member 212, the resetting member is elastically deformed, and the urging member 217 gradually moves backward, as described above, since the second gap g2 gradually decreases, the two urging members 217 respectively urge the vertical rods 211 corresponding thereto, so that the two vertical rods 211 gradually approach in the left-right direction, that is, the first gap g1 between the two vertical rods 211 gradually decreases, and at the same time, the coupling part 223 is also gradually disengaged from the bottom plate 30 a; when the force is removed, under the action of the reset force of the reset piece, the transmission piece 212 drives the urging piece 217 to move from back to front, and the two upright rods 211 are gradually separated from each other in the left-right direction to be reset.
[ third example ]
Based on the above two embodiments, the two combining portions 223 may also extend from the extending portion 222 in the same direction, that is, both the two combining portions 223 extend leftwards or rightwards, and the combining process of the locking assembly 22 and the bottom plate 30a of the ink cartridge holding portion 300 is basically the same no matter which direction the two combining portions 223 extend, and will not be described herein; except that the structure of the unlocking assembly 21 is slightly different.
In this embodiment, two urging members of the unlocking assembly 21 may be provided in combination with the above-described two embodiments, that is, one of the urging members may be inserted into the first gap g1 between the two coupling levers, and the other urging member urges the upright rod 221 from the direction opposite to the direction in which the coupling portion 223 protrudes with respect to the extending portion 222, so that, when a force is applied to the force receiving member 221 from the front to the rear, the urging member may transmit the force to the coupling portion 223 so that the coupling portion 223 is disengaged from the bottom plate 30a of the cartridge holding portion 300.

The locking assembly 22 in the latch 2 still includes two engaging rods, each of which is provided with the extending portion 222 and an engaging portion 223 extending in the left-right direction from the extending portion 222, the engaging portion 223 is provided with an engaging surface 224 for engaging with the cartridge holding portion 300, the engaging portion 223 is located below the chip 13, and further, the engaging portion 223 is located below the lower side surface 10b, in this embodiment, the two engaging portions 223 extend (protrude) toward each other.
When the ink cartridge 100 is mounted to the cartridge holder 300, as in the first embodiment, the two engaging portions 223 are expanded and deformed in the left-right direction in the direction away from each other to enter the positions facing the first side 30c1 and the second side 30c2, and as the ink cartridge 100 is further mounted downward, the engaging portions 223 reach the lower side of the extension plate 30c, the engaging surface 224 engages with the fourth side 30c4 of the extension plate 30c, and the extension portion 222 faces the first side 30c1 and the second side 30c2, and at this time, the ink cartridge 100 is completely engaged with the cartridge holder 300. When the ink cartridge 100 needs to be removed from the cartridge holding portion 300, the engagement between the ink cartridge 100 and the cartridge holding portion 300 can be released by the unlocking member 21.
[ example five ]
Fig. 11 is a perspective view of an ink cartridge according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention; fig. 12 is a perspective view of an ink cartridge according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention, which is combined with an ink cartridge holding portion of an ink jet printer.
The ink cartridge 100 in this embodiment is not provided with the unlocking unit 21, but is provided with only one projection 4 for engaging with the cartridge holding part 300, the projection 4 having the step face 41 positioned above, as shown in fig. 11, the front side face 10a of the ink cartridge includes a first flat face 10a1 and a second flat face 10a2 which are displaced in the front-rear direction, the second flat face 10a2 is positioned below the first flat face 10a1 in the up-down direction, the chip 13 is positioned on the first flat face 10a1, the projection 4 is positioned on the second flat face 10a2, and the projection 4 is positioned below the lower side face 10 b.
When the ink cartridge 100 is mounted to the cartridge holder 300, the protrusion 4 is pressed against the extension plate 30c and elastically deformed until the protrusion 4 passes over the third side 30c3 of the extension plate from above to below and finally the fourth side 30c4 of the extension plate reaches above the step surface 41, at which time the ink cartridge 100 is positioned by the engagement of the step surface 41 with the fourth side 30c 4.
When the ink cartridge 100 needs to be removed from the cartridge holding portion 300, the end user applies a pulling force upward to the entire ink cartridge 100 in the up-down direction, and the protruding portion 4 is pressed again with the extension plate 30c to be elastically deformed until the protruding portion 4 goes upward beyond the third side 30c3 of the extension plate.
It follows that the protrusion 4 in this embodiment is made of a non-rigid material, for example, the protrusion 4 is injection molded from a plastic material, or made of an elastic material; the projection 4 in this embodiment is elastically deformed only in the coupling process or the decoupling process of the ink cartridge 100 and the cartridge holder 300 as a latch device, and thus the probability of the projection 4 being deformed and fatigued is greatly reduced.
