FIG. 6A is a schematic view showing the relative positions of a movable member in the ink cartridge and a rotatable member in the ink jet printer when the ink cartridge according to the second embodiment of the present invention is locked; fig. 6B is a schematic view showing the relative positions of the movable member in the ink cartridge and the rotatable member in the ink jet printer when the ink cartridge according to the second embodiment of the present invention is unlocked.
As shown in fig. 6A, when the ink cartridge 1 is mounted, the movable member 6 is in the first position away from the bottom case 2 under the urging force of the elastic member 7, and at this time, the ink cartridge 1 can be engaged with the locking member 5, specifically, the force-bearing surface 634 is engaged with the urging surface 511 of the urging portion 51, and the ink cartridge 1 is restricted from being withdrawn backward in the front-rear direction.
When the ink cartridge 1 needs to be taken out, the user presses the force receiving portion 62 downward, and even if the movable element 6 may have a clockwise tilting rotation due to the guiding action of the front guide surface 26, the front guided surface 633, the rear guided surface 621, and the rear guide surface 27 which are tilted with respect to the up-down direction, which are described above, due to the large size of the movable element 6 in the front-rear direction, the above-described slightly tilting rotation action of the movable element 6 is prevented by the above-described respective guide surfaces, and the trajectory of the entire movement of the movable element 6 in the up-down direction is precisely controlled until the movable element 6 reaches the second position shown in fig. 6B, at which time, the front end 631a of the main guide surface 631 reaches a position flush with the lowermost point of the auxiliary guide surface 25, and the urging portion 51 may reach the auxiliary guide surface 25 from the main guide surface 631. The process of disengaging the locking member 5 from the ink cartridge 1 is the same as in the first embodiment, and will not be described again.
It will be appreciated that movable member 4/6 is preferably integrally formed, however, movable member 4/6 may be formed separately, e.g., active portion 43/63 may be provided separately from the other components of movable member 4/6 to increase the strength of active portion 43/63 and the other components of movable member 4/6, which interact via force transfer mechanisms.
[ third example ]
The above embodiment describes the action portion 43/63 of the movable piece 4/6 moving in the up-down direction to release the lock with the lock 5, however, the action portion 43/63 may also be arranged to move in the front-back direction to release the lock with the lock 5 if the space of the ink cartridge 1 allows.
Taking the movable element 4 as an example, for example, the acting portion 43 and a main body portion (including components other than the acting portion 43) of the movable element 4 are relatively movable and formed separately, and at this time, the main body portion and the acting portion 43 interact with each other through a force transmission mechanism, and when the ink cartridge 1 is mounted to the ink jet printer, the acting portion 43 is located at the first position and abuts against the urging portion 51, and the ink cartridge 1 is locked; when the ink cartridge 1 needs to be taken out, the user applies a force downward to the force receiving portion 42, then the force is transmitted to the acting portion 43 through the force transmitting mechanism to push the acting portion 43 in the front-rear direction, so that the acting portion 43 reaches the second position out of abutment with the urging portion 51, and finally, as the ink cartridge 1 moves rearward, the urging portion 51 is guided by the auxiliary guide surface 25.
[ example four ]
In this embodiment, the operating portion 43/63 of the movable member 4/6 is provided so as to be movable in the left-right direction to release the lock with the lock member 5. Still taking the movable element 4 as an example, the acting portion 43 and the main body portion (including components other than the acting portion 43) of the movable element 4 can move relatively, and the acting portion 43 and the main body portion are formed separately, and a force transmission mechanism is still provided between the acting portion and the main body portion.
When the ink cartridge 1 is mounted to the ink jet printer, the action portion 43 is located at the first position abutting against the urging portion 51, and the ink cartridge 1 is locked; when the ink cartridge 1 needs to be taken out, the user applies an acting force downward to the force receiving portion 42, then the acting force is transmitted to the acting portion 43 through the force transmitting mechanism to push the acting portion in the left-right direction, so that the acting portion 43 reaches the second position out of abutment with the urging portion 51, and finally, as the ink cartridge 1 moves rearward, the urging portion 51 is guided by the auxiliary guide surface 25.
As is clear from the above description, the elastic member 7 is not an essential component of the ink cartridge 1, and when the operating portion 43/63 reaches the second position, the movable member 4/6 is already unlocked/disengaged from the locking member 5, and it is not important whether the movable member 43/63 returns to the first position, and even without the elastic member 7, the user can manually return the movable member 43/63 to the first position when taking out and retracting the ink cartridge 1; it should be noted that, in contrast to the situation where the action portion 43/63 is fixedly disposed on the bottom case 2, the action portion 43/63 of the present invention is disposed to be movable relative to the bottom case 2, so as to ensure more complete unlocking between the movable member 4/6 and the locking member 5,
as described above, the force receiving portion 42/62 of the movable member 4/6 of the present invention can receive downward force applied by the user, and under the force, the movable member 4/6 is unlocked/disengaged from the latch 5 in the inkjet printer, the original use manner of the user is not changed, and the movable member 4/6 only needs to be installed to the movable chamber 24, and the installation position and dimensional accuracy thereof are not strictly limited.
