Fig. 1 provides a schematic cross-sectional view of a portion of a cooking appliance 100 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. The cooking appliance 100 may be an appliance for heating food or water used in a kitchen such as a pressure cooker or an electric cooker.
As shown in fig. 1, the cooking appliance 100 includes a pot body 110 and a lid 120, and the lid 120 can be pivotably connected with the pot body 110. The pot body 110 is substantially in the shape of a rounded rectangular parallelepiped and has a receiving portion. The inner pot 111 is configured to be freely put into or taken out of the receiving part to facilitate cleaning of the inner pot 111. The inner pot 111 is used to contain materials to be heated, such as rice, soup, etc., and when the lid 120 covers the pot body 110, a cooking space is defined between the lid 120 and the inner pot 111.
A sealing ring 121 is further installed at the bottom of the cover 120 to ensure the sealing of the cooking space. In the closed state, the sealing ring 121 abuts against the rim 111a of the inner pan 111, so that the cooking space can be sealed there. Specifically, in the present embodiment, the cover body 120 includes a detachable cover 122, and the seal ring 121 is mounted on the detachable cover 122. When a basket 130 (to be described in detail later) is provided in the inner pot 111 and the lid 120 is closed to the pot body 110, the sealing ring 121 presses down a basket rim of the basket 130.
The cooker body 110 is also provided with a heating device and a control device, and the heating device is used for heating the food in the inner pot 111. The control device is used for controlling the heating device.
As shown in fig. 2, a food steamer 130 is removably installed in the inner pot 111. Preferably, a horizontally and outwardly extending steamer rim 131 is provided at the mouth of the steamer 130, and the steamer rim 131 can be placed on the pot rim 111a so that the steamer 130 can be placed in the inner pot 111. It should be noted that the directional terms "outer" and "inner" as used herein refer to directions relatively away from the central axis of the cooking appliance 100 and directions relatively close to the central axis of the cooking appliance 100.
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the basket body of the basket 130 includes a basket side wall 132 and a basket bottom wall 133. The shape of the basket body generally conforms to the shape of the inner pan 111, but the height and radial dimensions of the basket body are less than the inner dimensions of the inner pan 111. Thus, when the basket 130 is placed in the inner pot 111, there is a space between the basket side walls 132 and the side walls of the inner pot 111, and a space between the basket bottom wall 133 and the bottom wall of the inner pot 111.

The guiding part 137 can be used for guiding the liquid to be cooked from the water inlet 151 to the water outlet 152, wherein the water outlet 152 is arranged on the body part 136, and the caliber of the water outlet 152 is enough to block the rice grains from passing through.
As shown in fig. 5, each flow guide 137 includes two straight walls 154 extending downward from the body portion 136, the two straight walls 154 are arranged parallel to each other, the straight walls 154 have a triangular cross section, and the flow guide wall 153 is connected between the two straight walls 154. This solution enables the water inlet 151 to be configured substantially in the shape of a rectangle. Preferably, the water outlet 152 is also configured in a rectangular shape, as shown in fig. 4, and the width W of the water outlet 152 is less than 1.8 mm. This arrangement prevents rice grains from leaking out of the food steamer 130. Of course, the water outlet 152 can be configured in other shapes or other sizes according to actual needs by those skilled in the art.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 3, the body portion 136 is further provided with a plurality of through holes 135, and the plurality of through holes 135 are arranged in an annular array and are disposed in a near-center area of the bottom wall 133 of the food steamer. The plurality of deflectors 137 are also arranged in an annular array and are disposed outside the plurality of through holes 135 in a radial direction of the basket 130, i.e., disposed to surround the plurality of through holes 135. In the illustrated embodiment, the body portion 136 is provided with three rows of flow guides 137, each row being provided with a plurality of evenly spaced flow guides 137. It will be appreciated that other rows of baffles 137 may be provided by one skilled in the art depending on the actual requirements or the actual size of the bottom wall 133 of the basket.
As shown in fig. 4, preferably, the basket bottom wall 133 has a guide region having an inwardly convex shape, and a plurality of flow guides 137 and a plurality of through holes 135 are provided in the guide region. This solution may facilitate the entry of the liquid to be cooked inside the basket along the inwardly convex shape of the guiding zone via the deflector 137 and the through holes 135.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 4 and 5, the water inlet 151 opens toward the radially inner side of the basket bottom wall 133, that is, for each deflector 137, the water inlet 151 thereof is disposed closer to the radial center of the basket bottom wall 133 than the water outlet 152. According to the scheme, the water inlet 151 is opened towards the radial inner side of the steamer bottom wall 133, so that the circulation path of the liquid is inclined upwards and towards the radial outer side of the steamer bottom wall 133, the liquid can conveniently flow into the peripheral area of the steamer through the water inlet 151 (as shown by arrows in fig. 4), rice grains in the steamer 130 can not be gathered at the periphery of the steamer 130 due to the inward convex shape of the guide area, the rice grains in the steamer 130 can be guaranteed to be smooth, water can be sufficiently and uniformly absorbed, and rice is prevented from being mixed.
More preferably, as shown in fig. 3 to 5, the area of the water inlet 151 of the baffle 137 positioned radially outward of the basket bottom wall 133 is larger than the area of the water inlet 151 of the baffle 137 positioned radially inward of the basket bottom wall 133. This scheme can make more liquid get into the food steamer 130 inside through the water inlet 151 that is located the water conservancy diversion portion 137 of the radial outside of food steamer diapire 133 to can further avoid the rice grain to gather at food steamer 130 periphery, guarantee that the even absorption of rice grain in the food steamer 130. In the illustrated embodiment, the length of the water inlet 151 of the baffle 137 located radially outward of the basket bottom wall 133 is greater than the length of the water inlet 151 of the baffle 137 located radially inward of the basket bottom wall 133, and the widths of the two are substantially the same. Of course, those skilled in the art may make other arrangements according to actual needs as long as the area of the water inlet 151 of the outer guide 137 is larger than the area of the water inlet 151 of the inner guide 137.
As shown in FIG. 4, the basket 130 further includes a baffle cylinder 134 extending generally vertically downwardly from the outer periphery of the guiding area. In cooking low-sugar rice, rice grains are placed in the basket 130, and water is placed in the inner pot 111 such that the water surface is located between the top and bottom ends of the barrier 134 in an unheated state. In a natural state, the chambers on both the inner and outer sides of the baffle cylinder 134 are formed substantially as a communicating vessel. Gas is present in the chamber above the water surface outside the baffle 134 (roughly the cavity between the side wall 132 of the basket and the side wall of the inner pot 111). In order to ensure the airtightness of the chamber, a sealing structure is provided at the top end of the chamber.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2 and 4, the sealing structure includes a sealing ring 140 disposed between the rim 131 and the rim 111 a. The seal ring 140 may be made of a flexible material such as rubber, silicone, etc. The seal ring 140 includes an axially extending portion 141, a radially extending portion 142 extending radially outward with respect to the axially extending portion 141, and a deforming portion 143 extending downward and inward from an end of the radially extending portion 142. The axial extension part 141 is sleeved outside the steamer side wall 132 and attached to the outer surface of the steamer side wall 132, and the radial extension part 142 is attached to the lower surface of the steamer rim 131. In the closed state, the deformation portion 143 contacts the rim 111a of the inner pot 111 under the pressure of the cover and deforms, thereby sealing the cavity between the basket 130 and the inner pot 111 at the gasket 140.
Preferably, the wall thickness of the axial extension 141 is gradually increased in a direction toward the tip of the axial extension 141. This preferred embodiment prevents the axially extending portion 141 from deforming, thereby ensuring that the axially extending portion 141 is securely engaged outside of the basket 130.
Preferably, the seal ring 140 is an integrally formed one-piece member. This scheme facilitates the manufacture of the packing 140 and can secure the firmness of the packing 140.
When the cover 120 is closed to the pot body 110, the sealing ring 121 is compressed in the vertical direction, and downward pressure is applied to the steamer rim 131. The rim 131 presses the gasket 140 downwards under pressure, so that the deformation 143 of the gasket 140 is compressed in a vertical direction, such that the deformation 143 is in close contact with the rim 111a, thereby ensuring that the chamber between the basket 130 and the inner pan 111 is sealed at the gasket 140.
Since the chamber between the side wall 132 of the basket and the side wall of the inner pan 111 is sealed at the sealing ring 140, the gas in the chamber can expand under heat. Specifically, in order to obtain low-sugar rice, when the cooking device 100 is started to heat, since the chamber between the food steamer 130 and the inner pan 111 is sealed by the sealing ring 140, the gas in the chamber expands due to heat and cannot overflow, and a downward force is applied to the water surface outside the baffle cylinder 134, so that the water surface inside the baffle cylinder 134 rises. When the water rises to the bottom wall 133 of the food steamer, a part of the water enters the food steamer through the flow guiding part 137 arranged at the outer ring of the bottom wall 133 of the food steamer, and a part of the water enters the interior of the food steamer through the through hole 135 arranged at the inner ring of the bottom wall 133 of the food steamer.
The water entering the interior of the basket 130 uniformly submerges the rice grains, and the sugars in the rice grains dissolve in the water. Thereafter, the heating device stops heating, the air in the chamber between the food steamer 130 and the inner pot 111 contracts, the water in the food steamer 130 flows out through the through holes 135, the water surface outside the blocking cylinder 134 rises, the water surface inside the blocking cylinder 134 falls, and the water is separated from the rice grains. This results in a single heating cycle followed by a similar plurality of heating cycles to complete the cooking. Thus, a cooking mode in which rice grains are intermittently separated from water can be quickly and efficiently realized, thereby cooking low-sugar rice.
According to the cooking utensil of above-mentioned scheme through set up a plurality of water conservancy diversion portions 137 and set up a plurality of through-holes 135 in the center department of food steamer diapire 133 in the periphery department at food steamer diapire 133, can guide boiling water to gush to a plurality of regions of food steamer inside in a plurality of directions to can realize that the rice in the food steamer evenly absorbs water, and can make the planarization of the rice that the culinary art was accomplished better, can avoid rice to press from both sides simultaneously and give birth to.
