Technical Field
The invention relates to a household appliance, in particular a household refrigerator, having a housing and having an appliance part which is arranged on the housing and is independent of the housing, the appliance part being movable relative to the housing.
The domestic appliance may be a domestic refrigeration appliance (e.g. a refrigerator, freezer or combination refrigerator-freezer), a domestic dishwashing appliance or a domestic cooking appliance.
Background
It is known in household refrigeration appliances to have an operating and/or display unit which is usually arranged inside the appliance and is not visible when the door is closed. It is also known to arrange a decorative panel on the front side of the door in a fitting device, said decorative panel completely covering the front side of the door, so that the view to other components of the device is also obstructed here. In the known appliance, the flexibility of variants with additional components visible from the front side is relatively low and the positioning of the additional components is limited.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a household appliance, in particular a household refrigerator, in which the assembly of additional components to movable appliance components is improved.
This object is achieved by a domestic appliance, in particular a domestic refrigerator, having the features according to the preferred embodiments.
One aspect of the invention relates to a household appliance, in particular a household refrigerator, having a housing and having appliance components arranged on the housing and independent of the housing. The implement component is movable relative to the housing. The appliance component has a front wall with a front side and a bar face inclined relative to the front side. The front side and the bar side, which are oriented differently with respect to one another and thus do not extend in a common plane, are thus two separate surface regions. The strip faces adjoin the front side face, so that the visible side or front face of the appliance part is formed by the front side face and the side faces.
The household appliance, in particular the household refrigerator, also has a separate functional component, which is arranged on the strip surface. With such a configuration of the household appliance, in particular of the household refrigerator, the fittability of the additional component can be achieved more variably, and thus also the visibility of the additional component from the front side can be achieved when the appliance component is arranged in the initial position. This not only extends the technical functionality of the appliance, but also improves, in particular, the visual appearance of the front side, even if a plurality of components are additionally present. The positioning of the individual functional components in particular local positions, i.e. on the obliquely arranged strip faces, also makes it possible to achieve a compact construction of the multipart arrangement, so that the functional components are positioned in a space-saving and neat manner in addition to their desired visibility and visibility from the front. The functional component is in particular designed and arranged in such a way that the front side is correspondingly arranged obliquely to the front side. The front side may also be a strip or the strip may have the front side.
Preferably, the strip surface is oriented, viewed in the height direction of the household appliance. By means of this configuration, the strip side can be arranged as an upright edge band on the edge side for the front side as well. The strip faces can thus also be used functionally as frame elements, which are also arranged differently with respect to their orientation relative to the front side. The strip surface is thus also arranged neatly and out of the way, precisely by its positioning relative to the edge of the front side, and on the other hand, visibility is achieved on the strip surface and thus also on the functional component.
In an advantageous embodiment, it is provided that the front flank is arranged only partially, in particular at most 70%, overlapping the strip surface. This then also means that the strip face is partially visible in a viewing direction perpendicular to a projection plane onto which the front side face and the strip face are projected. The configuration thus allows the strip surface to be partially covered by the front side when viewed from the front side, so that on the one hand the strip surface is also protected to some extent towards the front. On the other hand, the projection of the front side also prevents, if necessary, an undesired incidence of light onto the strip surface, thereby also improving the viewing of the strip surface and the perceptibility of the strip surface.
In an advantageous manner, a grip recess as a handle is also formed between the front side of the strip side and the rear side of the front side in this overlapping arrangement between the strip side and the front side in the projection view. The strip surface and the front side are arranged at a distance from one another, as viewed in the depth direction of the household appliance, in particular the strip surface is arranged behind the front side in the depth direction, as a result of which the grip recess is then formed in the three-dimensional view. In this way, a simple, yet ergonomically gripped handle is also produced in a particularly advantageous manner. The handle is thus configured so to speak integrally and is formed by the specific orientation of the strip and the front side and the specific extension of the strip and the front side. The handle is also of space-saving design, just when viewed from the front, and is also not undesirably arranged as a movable part projecting forward.
In an advantageous embodiment, it is provided that a decorative plate separate from the appliance component is arranged on the front side. This is a further very advantageous embodiment, since the front side of the appliance component is thereby protected by the separate decorative plate and is thereby protected from undesired mechanical influences. Furthermore, a visual appearance of the manufactured front-side personality can also be achieved by the decorative panel. A single household appliance can thus be provided with different front visual appearances with great individuality by variably fitting the decorative panel. This is particularly advantageous if the domestic appliance is designed as a fitting appliance or a fitting domestic appliance and is provided for fitting into a mounting groove, for example a furniture wall. In this way, it is possible to achieve a visual appearance of the entire arrangement, in particular in a manner that is coordinated with the front side of the component of the furniture wall and, if appropriate, the decorative panel that is adapted thereto. It is also conceivable for the decorative plate to be composed completely, substantially completely or at least partially of metal. It is conceivable for the decorative plate to comprise or consist of a metal plate. In principle, it is conceivable for the decorative panel to be arranged on the front side in a manner that is not damaged, in particular in a manner that is not removable by means of a tool. Preferably, the separate decorative panel completely covers the front side on the front side. The advantages mentioned above are thereby achieved in a particular manner.
It may be provided that the functional component has a separate decorative element. Thereby achieving in said configuration a visual and tactile appearance providing individuality. This also makes it possible to increase the variable configuration of the household appliance on the strip surface and also to personalize the variable configuration. For this purpose, different textures or also different individual patterns can be provided as structuring. In principle, it is conceivable that the decorative element can be arranged on the strip surface without damage, in particular without removal by means of a tool.
It is also conceivable that a decorative plate separate from the appliance component is arranged on the front side and that the functional component has a separate decorative element, wherein the decorative plate and the decorative element are identical with respect to color and/or pattern and/or material. The external appearance of the household appliance can thus be determined in a simple and cost-effective manner.
Provision may be made for the separate decorative element to be arranged on the strip surface in a manner such that it can be removed without damage. Replacement for maintenance work or for changing the visual appearance can thus be easily taken into account.
Preferably, the front side is oriented vertically.
In an advantageous embodiment, the household appliance has a display and/or operating unit as a functional component. The display and/or operating unit is formed on the strip surface. By this concentration of the components on the inclined surface region, i.e. the strip surface, a compact structure is made possible, which enables unrestricted visibility of the display and/or operating unit also when the appliance component is positioned in the basic state arranged on the housing.
In a further advantageous embodiment, it is provided that the strip face is completely uncovered toward the front and that the front side ends at the edge of the strip face. This means that no overlap is formed in the direction in which the front side and the strip side are arranged opposite one another and are thus positioned side by side in this viewing direction and thus also in the spatial direction. In the projection of the front flank and the bar face onto a plane, these planes are arranged without overlapping. The front side and the bar side are thus arranged without overlapping in the spatial direction in which they are formed one behind the other. This has the advantage, in particular, that the display and/or operating unit can then also be designed to be large and can thus also extend over a large part of the dimension measured along the narrow side of the strip surface. In this way, it is possible to produce a display and/or operating unit which is as large as possible in an inclined arrangement of the strip faces when viewed from the front, which is then completely and unrestricted exposed to the front and visible without being at least partially covered by the front side.
Preferably, the inclined strip surface extends over at least 50%, in particular at least 80%, in particular at least 90%, of the length of the edge of the front side to which the inclined strip surface adjoins. Due to the relatively large dimensions of the strip surface, in addition to the optionally also largely designed display and/or operating unit, larger recesses can also be formed in the strip surface.
Preferably, the functional component is a strip. The strip can in particular be made of real glass. The strip is made of plastic, in particular, and is transparent at least in the area of the display and/or operating unit. The strip may for example be constructed as an IML (In-Mold-Labeling) film. A visual appearance which is also very restful is achieved just when the slats are dyed. In the case of display and/or operating units which are configured as touch-sensitive units, the display and/or operating units in their deactivated state cannot be recognized, in particular if the distance to the domestic refrigeration appliance is large. In particular in this embodiment, it is advantageous if the specific operating state, in particular the standby operating state, is optically displayed, in particular adjacent to the position in which the display and/or operating unit is formed in the inclined bar surface.
Preferably, the strip surface is arranged at an angle of between 30 ° and 85 °, in particular between 40 ° and 70 °, to the front side. This has the advantage, in particular, that the particular orientation also facilitates the display of information on the strip surface, since optical reflections or other specular reflections can thereby be reduced. It is advantageous to perceive the information provided in each case precisely in such a slanted arrangement of the strip sides.
The strip surface thus enables a wide-range and easily perceptible display of information of the functional element, precisely by the positioning thereof in the inclined position. A user-friendly and flexible operability of the functional component designed as a display and/or operating unit is also achieved, since the operating surface and the operating element can be oriented toward the user by means of a corresponding orientation of the bar surface, and therefore operation is achieved without complex movements and thus without having to bend or twist the fingers strongly. The accessibility of the operating element for the operating strip surface is thus also achieved very ergonomically.
Preferably, the display and/or operating unit has a touch-sensitive operating element. The structure on the strip side can thus not be enlarged, since the touch-sensitive operating region is configured with the sensors arranged thereunder. The installation space directly adjacent to the strip surface is therefore not negatively influenced.
Preferably, the display and/or operating unit comprises a TFT (thin film transistor) display. This makes it possible to display dynamic information in addition to static information, and the color diversity and the display authenticity of the information are thereby particularly high. Furthermore, this also results in a very flat design of the display and/or operating unit, so that a small installation space is also required.
It can be provided that the household appliance has two, three or four bar surfaces inclined relative to the front side. The further strip face may have the features disclosed in relation to the strip face according to the invention.
It is conceivable to arrange functional components only on the strip side according to the invention. Alternatively, it is conceivable to arrange a further functional component on at least one of the further strip faces. It is conceivable for the two strip faces lying opposite the front side (for example, the strip face extending vertically to the left and the strip face extending vertically to the right) to be arranged mirror-symmetrically, in particular with respect to the angle of the strip face relative to the front side and/or the shape of the strip face and/or the size of the strip face.
It can be provided that the household appliance has a second strip surface which is opposite the strip surface and on which a second functional component is arranged. In this case, it is particularly conceivable for the functional component arranged on the strip side and the second functional component arranged on the second strip side to be exchangeable. If the appliance part is a door, replacement of the door stop is facilitated in the manner described. In this case, it is conceivable in particular for both the strip side and the second strip side to be arranged vertically. The functional component can have a display and/or operating unit. The second functional component may have a decorative element.
The household appliance may be, for example, a household dish cleaning appliance or a household cooking appliance. The domestic appliance is preferably a domestic refrigeration appliance. In particular, a domestic refrigerator or freezer or combination refrigerator-freezer appliance is provided.

Fig. 1 shows a household appliance in the form of a household refrigerator 1 in one exemplary embodiment, which is designed to receive food.
The domestic refrigerator 1 can be a refrigerator or freezer or a combination refrigerator and freezer. In this embodiment the domestic refrigeration appliance is a combination refrigerator-freezer appliance. The domestic refrigerator 1 has a housing 2 in which a first receiving chamber 3 for food is formed. The first receiving chamber 3 is, for example, a refrigeration compartment. As can be seen in fig. 2, the door 4 has a front wall 5 with a front side 6. The front side 6 is here oriented in or substantially in a vertical plane, which is given by the x-y plane.
The front wall 5 also has a strip face 7 which is inclined relative to the front flank 6 and which, viewed in the width direction, laterally adjoins the front flank 6. In particular, the angle α between the strip 7 and the front flank 6 is between 30 ° and 85 °, in particular between 40 ° and 70 °.
As can be seen in the configuration in fig. 1 and 2, the inclined strip surface 7 extends in the height direction and thus vertically. In the present exemplary embodiment, the strip 7 extends over at least half, preferably over at least 80%, preferably over 100%, of the height of the front side 6.
In the exemplary embodiment according to fig. 2, it is also provided that the surfaces 6 and 7 are configured to overlap when viewed in the width direction and thus when viewed in the x direction, in a projection view of the front flank 6 and the bar surface 7 onto a plane perpendicular to the depth direction. The overlap is in particular preferably up to 70% of the extent of the strip surface 7 in the width direction. Thus, the strip surface 7 projects partially laterally beyond the front side 6 and is thus also at least partially visible on the front side, when viewed from the front side and thus in the depth direction.
In the course of this overlap between the front side 6 and the bar surface 7 in the projection view, as can be seen in the exemplary embodiment according to fig. 2, a grip recess 8 is also formed, in particular by the surface arrangement, which grip recess is a grip into which the grip can be inserted from the side. Thus, the door 4 can also be easily manipulated and thus opened and closed by the configuration described above by extending into the grip recess 8.

A functional component 9 is arranged on the strip surface 7 independently of said strip surface. It is thus possible, however, not only in this embodiment, for example, to provide that the functional component 9 is a display and/or operating unit in the doors 4 and 13, respectively, and that the functional component 9 is a separate decorative element in the door 15, for example. However, in the case of the door 15, the functional component can also be, for example, a display and/or operating unit.
It is also possible, at least in one door, to arrange not only display and/or operating units but also individual decorative elements as functional components on the strip surface 7, which functional components can then be arranged, for example, in line with one another in the height direction.

Claims (19)

1. A household appliance having a housing (2) and having appliance components (4, 13, 15) which are arranged on the housing (2) and are independent of the housing (2) and which can be moved relative to the housing (2), wherein the appliance components (4, 13, 15) have a front wall (5) which has a front side (6) and a strip surface (7) which is inclined relative to the front side, and the household appliance has a separate functional component (9) which is arranged on the strip surface (7).
