Detailed Description
Hereinafter, an anti-fogging pad and a mask having the anti-fogging pad according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In describing the present invention, descriptions of well-known functions and structures of a general mask will be omitted to make the gist of the present invention clearer.
The anti-fogging pad 20 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a pad body 1 formed to extend in a lateral direction.
The pad main body 1 is formed of a soft material in consideration of the close contact with the face, since it is in direct contact with the skin of the face of the user, and is nontoxic. The material of the pad body 1 is preferably thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), for example. However, it is not limited thereto, and may be natural latex, synthetic rubber, or silicon.
In the nose-contacting portion 2, the center of which covers the outer peripheral surface of the nose, of the cushion body 1, the upper end portion 2a and the lower end portion 2b protrude toward the outside and are formed in a circular arc (arc) shape to be relatively circular.
Further, cut portions 3 cut to a predetermined width and length are symmetrically formed on both sides of the upper end portion 2a of the nose contact portion 2. Here, the incision portion 3 is disposed approximately corresponding to a position of a space slightly above the alar part protruding from the nose toward both sides.
On the other hand, the nose contact portion 2 is bent under the upper end portion 2a substantially at the center thereof in accordance with the outer peripheral shape of the nose, and includes a bending member 4 that maintains the bent shape.
The bending member 4 is easily bent, has excellent bending properties, and is made of a material having rigidity enough to maintain a bent form. For example, the bending member 4 may be made of a material such as aluminum or stainless steel in the form of a narrow and long metal plate, wire, or mesh (mesh).
Here, the bending part 4 may include: a first bending member 4a arranged at the center of the nose contact part 2 and bendable in accordance with the shape of the outer peripheral surface of the nose; the second bending member 4b is disposed on a cap 5 described later and is configured to impart rigidity thereto.
These first bending part 4a and second bending part 4b are preferably formed in an insert molding (insert molding) manner together with the cushion body 1. However, as another embodiment, a structure may be selected in which a hole or a space portion is formed in the pad main body 1 and the first bending member 4a and the second bending member 4b are inserted therein.
On the other hand, in the pad main body 1, the cover 5 is symmetrically formed on both sides adjacent to the cut portion 3, and the cover 5 extends from the pad main body 1 in a state of being cut into a predetermined width and length toward the cut portion 3 to sufficiently overlap the cut portion 3, thereby covering the cut portion 3.
The cap 5 covers a part of the upper surface of the incision portion 3, and seals the upper surface of the incision portion 3 by being in close contact with the face of the upper space of the nasal ala of the user, thereby blocking the discharge of the exhaled air from the nose to the upper space of the nasal ala, that is, to the eyes.
Here, in order to reinforce the blocking effect of the cap 5 against the exhaled breath, as another embodiment of the present invention, an extension portion 5a bent in a cross-sectional shape of an "angled right" may be additionally formed at the upper end of the cap 5 by a predetermined width. Such an extension 5a can increase the close contact effect with a narrow contact area with the facial skin in a straight line or a broken line.
In addition, as another embodiment of the present invention, a reinforcing member 6 having a corresponding structure to increase the coupling force between the cover 5 and the cut portion 3 may be included on the lower surface of the cover 5 and the upper surface of the cut portion 3 of the pad body 1.
The reinforcing component 6 includes: a first reinforcing member 6a disposed on the surface of the cut-out portion 3; and a second reinforcement part 6b formed opposite to the first reinforcement part 6a on a surface of the cover 5 so as to be combined with the first reinforcement part 6 a. These first reinforcing part 6a and second reinforcing part 6b are preferably velcro tapes, but are not limited thereto.
In the cover 5, a second bending member 4b may be arranged adjacent to the second reinforcing member 6b and extending along an edge of the cover 5. Here, when the second bending member 4b is pressed and bent, the bent shape of the lid 5 is maintained, and the second bending member plays a role of imparting rigidity to the lid 5.
Therefore, the tip of the cap 5 is slightly pulled toward the cut-out portion 3 and overlapped with the cut-out portion 3 to cover and press the cut-out portion 3, the first reinforcing member 6a and the second reinforcing member 6b are tightly coupled to each other, and when the second bending member 4b of the cap 5 is pressed toward the face, the second bending member 4b is bent and deformed, and the cut-out portion 3 and the extension portion 5a of the cap 5 are tightly contacted with the skin of the face, whereby the effect of closing the space above the nasal ala can be increased.
On the other hand, as shown in fig. 3, a semicircular surrounding portion 7 is formed along the entire length of the lower end edge of the pad body 1. Here, the surrounding portion 7 may be formed integrally with the pad main body 1, or may be separately manufactured and attached to the pad main body 1.
The surrounding portion 7 serves to guide the exhaled breath to the lower side while increasing the close contact between the cushion main body 1 and the nose and the face around the nose. At this time, the lower end of the surrounding portion 7 may be formed with a circular cross-sectional edge 7a for increasing the close contact with the face while imparting rigidity.
As shown in fig. 2, the anti-fogging pad 20 according to an embodiment of the present invention may include an adhesive member 8 at the back of the pad body 1, so that the pad body 1 can be attached to and detached from the mask 30. Here, the adhesive member 8 may be any of a hook-and-loop fastener, a magnet, or a hook, and it goes without saying that the mask 30 is provided with a structure corresponding thereto (a coupling member 33 described later).
As shown in fig. 4, the anti-fogging pad 20 according to an embodiment of the present invention may have bands 9 coupled to both lateral ends of the pad body 1 in order to increase the close contact with the face of the user.
Here, the tape 9 may be connected with the hole 1a formed in the pad main body 1. However, as another embodiment of the present invention, the belt 9 may be formed integrally with the cushion main body 1.
The belt 9 is preferably made of a stretchable material. When the band 9 is wound around the head of the user, the pad body 1 is closely contacted with the face due to the elastic force of the band 9 having elasticity.
In this case, in order to increase the close contact with the pad body 1 on the face, a fastening member 10 such as a hook or a hook may be further provided at the end of the belt 9 that is opposed to the belt 9 at a substantially central portion.
Therefore, when the band 9 is further fastened by the fastening member 10, the force with which the cushion body 1 is in close contact with the face is increased, and the face contact degree of the nose contact portion 2 and the cut-out portion 3 is greatly increased at the position of the upper space of the wings of the nose of the user, so that the effect of blocking the exhaled breath from being discharged to the upper side can be maximized.
The following describes a case where the antifogging pad 20 according to an embodiment of the present invention having the above-described structure is attached to the mask 30.
The pad body 1 is attached to the mask 30 by bonding the adhesive member 8 disposed on the rear surface of the pad body 1 to the bonding member 33 correspondingly provided at the upper end of the mask 30. The mask 30 is used by attaching a pair of ear straps 31 provided at both side end portions of the mask 30 to the ears of the user.
Then, the first bending member 4a formed at the center of the nose contact part 2 is pressed with fingers and bent in accordance with the shape of the outer peripheral surface of the nose. In response to this, the first curved member 4a is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the nose in a state curved in an arc shape.
Next, the band 9 is wound around the head of the user, and the fastening member 10 is fastened to bring the pad body 1 into close contact with the face of the user to the maximum extent.
Then, it is confirmed whether or not the exhaled air is discharged from the upper space of the alar part toward the eyes between the both side cut parts 3 of the nose contact part 2 and the contact part of the mask 5 and the face.
If a part of the exhaled breath is discharged from the space toward the eye side, the caps 5 on both sides are slightly pulled toward the incision part 3 in the opposing direction, and the velcro tapes serving as the first and second reinforcing members 6a and 6b are tightly coupled to each other. Then, the second bending member 4b provided in the cap 5 is pressed toward the face side with a finger to be bent and deformed.
Accordingly, the extension 5a of the cover 5 having a cross-sectional shape like a right-angled letter "is pressed against the surface of the face, and enters a predetermined distance to be closely attached, thereby perfectly blocking the direction from the upper space of the nose wing toward the eye side. Therefore, the exhaled air from the nose can be completely blocked from passing to the upper side of the space between the incision part 3 and the cap 5 and being discharged, and the fogging phenomenon on the eyeglasses can be reliably prevented.
The above description describes the preferred embodiments of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited thereto. As those skilled in the art will appreciate, various changes and modifications can be made within the scope of the present invention.
For example, although the case where the coupling member 33 is additionally disposed on a general mask sold on the market and used as the mask 30 has been described as an example in the above description, a mask suitable for the anti-fogging pad 20 of the present invention may be configured.
For example, a mask made by reducing the vertical width of the mask 30 may be used in consideration of the size of the cushion body 1 that is long in the lateral direction and has the width between the upper and lower end portions 2a and 2b of the nose contact portion 2 that are formed to be rounded.
