4. The adapter according to claim 2, wherein the connecting portion has a clamping groove extending along a length direction thereof, the clamping groove is used for clamping the electronic device, and the avoiding hole is formed at a bottom of the clamping groove.

The adapter of claim 4, wherein the connecting portion comprises a bottom plate attached to the end cover, an upper side plate connected to the bottom plate and extending away from the adapter, and a lower side plate connected to the bottom plate and extending away from the adapter, the upper side plate and the lower side plate are arranged at an interval and located on the upper side of the lower side plate, the bottom plate, the upper side plate and the lower side plate together enclose to form the clamping groove, the extending length of the upper side plate is greater than that of the lower side plate, and the avoiding hole is formed in the bottom plate.
6. The adapter of claim 2, wherein the end cap further defines a connecting groove, and the position-limiting member further includes a connecting block protruding from a side of the connecting portion facing the end cap and adapted to be inserted into the connecting groove.
7. The adapter of claim 6, wherein the connecting slot has a plurality of slots, the connecting block has a plurality of slots, and a connecting block is inserted into a connecting slot.
8. The adapter according to claim 1, wherein the two connecting portions are arranged in a central symmetry.
9. The adapter of claim 2, wherein the adapter further comprises a first magnetic element connected to the end cap, and the retaining element further comprises a second magnetic element connected to the base plate, wherein the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element are capable of magnetically attracting each other, such that the retaining element is magnetically attracted to the end cap.
10. The adapter of claim 9, wherein the second magnetic member defines a plurality of through holes passing through the avoiding holes, and one of the insertion holes corresponds to one of the through holes.
11. The adapter of claim 8 wherein said first magnetically attractive member is a magnet and said second magnetically attractive member is an iron plate.
12. The adapter according to claim 2, wherein the adapter includes two electrical plugs, the two insertion holes are correspondingly provided, and two avoiding holes are provided on one of the connecting portions.
13. The adapter of claim 1 wherein the cross-sectional size of the retainer is the same as the cross-sectional size of the end cap.
14. The adapter of claim 1, wherein the adapter further comprises a connecting assembly electrically connected to the adapter controller for electrically connecting to an electronic device, the connecting assembly comprises at least one of a USB-Type-C interface socket, a USB-Type-B interface socket, a TF card interface socket, an audio interface socket, and an HDMI interface socket, and the adapter housing defines a plurality of jacks communicating with the accommodating cavity and disposed opposite to the connecting assembly.
15. An electronic device, characterized in that the electronic device has two edges arranged in axial symmetry, and the edges are provided with an electric plug interface capable of being matched and plugged with the adapter of claim 1 and realizing electric connection.
