Claims (15)

1. A cooking appliance, comprising:
a base assembly;
a cover assembly pivotably disposed to the base assembly between a closed position and an extended position;
a movable latch that is in movable engagement with the cover assembly to cause the cover assembly to hover in at least one intermediate position between the closed position and the deployed position.
2. The cooking appliance of claim 1, wherein the locking member has a stopper portion, the cover assembly has a stopper portion,
the limiting part abuts against the stopping part when the upper cover assembly is in the middle position, and the limiting part and the stopping part are arranged in a staggered mode when the upper cover assembly is switched between the middle position and the unfolding position.
3. The cooking appliance of claim 2, wherein the locking member has an avoidance notch, the stop portion being adapted to pass through the avoidance notch when the lid assembly is switched between the intermediate position and the deployed position.
4. The cooking appliance of claim 3, wherein the escape notch and the stop are aligned in a path of movement of the lock.
5. The cooking appliance of claim 3, wherein the locking member is linearly movable, and a bottom wall of the escape notch is lower than a top of the stopping portion.
6. The cooking appliance of claim 1, further comprising a resilient member disposed between the latch and the base assembly.
7. The cooking appliance of claim 6, wherein the locking member defines a guide slot therein, and wherein at least a portion of the resilient member is disposed within the guide slot.
8. The cooking appliance of claim 1, wherein the latch has a manipulation portion adapted to be manipulated by an operator to actuate the latch.
9. The cooking appliance of claim 8, wherein one of the manipulation part and the locking member is formed with a catching hole, and one of the manipulation part and the locking member has a catching part that is fitted with the catching hole.
10. The cooking appliance of claim 8, wherein the base assembly includes a stationary cover that covers an outside of at least a portion of the locking member.
11. The cooking appliance of claim 1, wherein the upper cover assembly comprises:
an upper cover body;
the upper cover assembly is pivotally connected with the base assembly through the first connecting part and the second connecting part, and at least one of the first connecting part and the second connecting part is movably matched with the locking piece.
12. The cooking appliance of claim 1, wherein the base assembly comprises:
a base body;
the hinge structure is arranged on the base body, the upper cover component is in pivoting connection with the base component through the hinge structure, and the locking piece is movably arranged on the hinge structure.
13. The cooking appliance of claim 1, wherein the base assembly has a sliding slot, and the locking member is disposed on the base assembly and moves linearly along an extending direction of the sliding slot.

The cooking appliance of claim 1, wherein the angle of rotation of the lid assembly from the closed position to the deployed position is α, the angle of rotation of the lid assembly from the closed position to the intermediate position is β, the β is less than the α, and the α is less than or equal to 180 degrees.
