In another preferred embodiment, the fluid within spray mechanisms 11 of each brush unit 5 is the same or different, as single-sided scrubbers may employ different cleaning fluids in the process. For example, a fluid with a higher alkalinity may be sprayed from the upstream spray mechanism 11, a fluid with a lower alkalinity may be sprayed from the midstream spray mechanism 11, and clean water may be sprayed from the last spray mechanism 11.
