Detailed Description
Aiming at the technical defect that the difficulty of artificial breeding of mandarin ducks is very high in the field, the designer conducts deep research on a plurality of factors including life habits, population, food and emotion of the mandarin ducks and discloses a device for promoting mandarin duck breeding. Through optimizing the artificial feeding environment, the mandarin duck breeding is remarkably promoted, and the sustainability of the population is kept.
As used herein, the term "promoting mandarin duck reproduction" refers to promoting mandarin duck to produce one or more of the following actions: estrus, mating, oviposition, and/or hatching; more preferably, the mandarin ducks are promoted to have all the behaviors in sequence according to the time sequence.
As used herein, the "hatchability" refers to the ratio of the number of eggs that hatch a mandarin duck to the number of eggs that hatch a fertilized mandarin duck.
As used herein, the "individual reproduction rate" refers to the ratio of the number of successfully reproduced mandarin duck individuals to the total number of mandarin duck populations.
As used herein, "parts by weight" or "parts by weight" are used interchangeably and can be any fixed weight expressed in milligrams, grams, or kilograms (e.g., 1mg, 1g, 2g, 5g, or 1kg, etc.). For example, a composition consisting of 1 part by weight of component a and 9 parts by weight of component b may be a composition consisting of 1g of component a +9 g of component b, or 10g of component a +90 g of component b. In the composition, the percentage content of a certain component (weight part of the component/sum of weight parts of all components) x 100%. Thus, in a composition consisting of 1 part by weight of component a and 9 parts by weight of component b, the content of component a is 10% and component b is 90%.

The designer observes various conditions such as wild inhabitation environment and reproduction conditions of mandarin duck for a long time, and provides a method and a device for promoting mandarin duck reproduction after research and optimization, wherein the method comprises the following steps: providing a cage with a specific design, wherein the average occupied area of a single mandarin duck is 1.5-3.2 square meters, preferably 1.5-2.4 square meters; in addition, an appropriate breeding environment is set in the cage. Generally, the number of mandarin ducks fed in a single cage is 2-40. Preferably 8 to 16.
In a preferred form of the invention, the bottom of the cage is provided as a solid structure, for example formed of bricks, slates or boards, which may be fixed to the ground or removable. The solid structure extends to the side wall of the cage, is 60-120 cm high, more preferably 70-110 cm, and further more preferably 80-100 cm, can provide proper safety for mandarin ducks, and is beneficial to healthy growth and improvement of the reproduction rate. Meanwhile, the structure of the solid structure on the side wall can prevent mice, cats, dogs and wild animals from entering, and can prevent hatched small mandarin ducks from escaping.
The utility model discloses an in the preferred mode, the lateral part of cage 1 face at least, 2 ~ 3 faces preferably include the solid structure of connecting the cage bottom and along the upwards net (such as the wire netting) that extends of this solid structure, the mesh diameter of this net is not more than 3 centimetres, such as 0.5 ~ 3 centimetres, better ground 1 ~ 3 centimetres, such as 1.5, 2 or 2.5 centimetres to prevent animals such as mouse, cat, weasel from getting into in the cage (for example get into in the nest box in the cage) to destroy mandarin duck egg.
In a preferred form of the invention, at least 1, preferably 1, of the lateral parts of the cage is provided as a full solid structure. Preferably, when the cage is pressed, one side of the solid structure is placed on the north side, so as to shield the mandarin duck from wind, rain, snow, sand and dust, and the like. Preferably, the face can be hung on a solid structure of the face to form a nest box for inhabitation of mandarin ducks.
The bottom of the cage is provided with a water pool which can be fixed on the ground or movable. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the area of the pool is about 1/5-1/2, preferably 1/4-1/3 of the area of the bottom of the cage. The utility model discloses an among the preferred mode, the depth of water in the pond is 20 ~ 60 centimetres, and 30 ~ 50 centimetres, water keep the slow flow better. The arrangement of the water pool accords with the breeding habit of the mandarin duck, so that the doll seeking behavior of the mandarin duck can be stimulated, and the mating is completed. The combination includes the setting in pond, the utility model discloses the device that a plurality of aspects provided has guaranteed the mandarin duck success rate of breeding period for the individual success rate of breeding rises to exceeding 70% by crossing zero.
In the preferred mode of the utility model, at least 1 feeding area, such as 1-3 feeding areas, can be arranged at the bottom of the cage. For example, a feeding area may have the following characteristics or combinations thereof: the area of the food container close to the water pool is 5-8 square meters, so that the food can be conveniently taken by the mandarin duck.
In a preferred mode of the utility model, a door is arranged on the side part of the cage; preferably, the door is a double-leaf door, and the opening directions of the two doors are opposite, so that the mandarin duck is prevented from escaping when a feeder goes in and out.
In the cage, a shielding shed is further arranged. The shelter shed is used for shielding mandarin ducks from wind, rain, snow, sand and dust and the like. The shielding shed is arranged in the cage and is 2.5-5 meters away from the bottom, preferably 3-4.5 meters, and more preferably 3-4 meters. The area of the shelter is 1/5-1/2, preferably 1/4-1/3 of the area of the bottom. The shelter has a roof (ceiling) that can act as a perch.
Despite the presence of the roof (net structure) of the cage, the designer still sets up shelters. The utility model discloses in shelter from the design of canopy, not only for the mandarin duck provides the place of stopping dwelling, hide the place for it provides when mandarin duck suffers the frightening moreover to reduce mandarin duck's stress response effectively. When mandarin duck breeds in the nest box, the canopy that shelters from of top has effectively reduced the interference of external factor, has increased its sense of security. The reduction of mandarin duck stress reaction obviously promotes the reproduction of mandarin ducks.
In the cage, nest boxes are also arranged. One or more nest boxes are arranged in one cage, and the nest boxes are used for breeding behaviors such as estrus, mating, spawning, hatching and the like of mandarin ducks and are used for behaviors such as hiding and the like of the mandarin ducks. Example 3 Mandarin duck food preparation
Two mandarin duck foods, namely a conventional food and a reproductive food are arranged. Based on the food consumption of a single mandarin duck per day, the food formula comprises:
conventional food formulations: 60g of green vegetables, 10g of apples, 40g of granulated feed, 40g of steamed corn bread and 10g of corns.
The formula of the breeding period food comprises the following components: 60g of green vegetables, 10g of apples, 40g of granulated feed, 40g of steamed corn, 10g of corn, 5g of cooked beef powder, 10g of cooked soybeans, 10g of cooked egg and 20 g of malt.
The upper and lower floating ranges are within 10% according to the formula when the feed is fed at ordinary times.
In the previous research, the designer feeds the chicken in a single mode, namely feeds the chicken in the conventional food formula in a reproductive period or a non-reproductive period, wherein the hatching rate is 20-35%, and the individual reproduction rate is 5%. Subsequently, the designer uses a feeding method of two stages of a non-breeding period and a breeding period, the hatching rate is 90%, and the individual breeding rate is increased to 87%.
Example 4 optimization of cage design
The designer finds that the breeding of the mandarin ducks is promoted for a long time, needs to provide living places and proper activity places with proper sizes for the mandarin ducks, and needs to consider the habit of the mandarin ducks and some characteristics in the aspect of special safety. The designer finds that the height of the nest box plays an important role in mandarin duck breeding.
Mandarin duck is raised by using the cages and nest boxes manufactured in the foregoing embodiments 1 and 2 and the food of embodiment 3, and mandarin duck breeding conditions under the condition that the average floor area and cage height of a single mandarin duck are different (i.e. under different raising densities) are observed, and are shown in table 2 in detail.
TABLE 2 Individual reproduction Rate for different cultivation conditions
Figure BDA0002075546640000131
Figure BDA0002075546640000141
According to the table 2, the average floor area of a single mandarin duck is 1.5-3.2 square meters, so that an ideal individual reproduction rate can be realized, wherein 1.5-2.4 square meters are particularly ideal. From the viewpoint of the height of the nest box, the height is preferably 1.5 to 3 m.
The designer finds that most nest boxes higher than 3 meters are discarded by mandarin ducks; less than 1 meter is also mostly discarded, which may be due to mandarin duck being very sensitive to self-security as well as to security of offspring.
