The utility model discloses a steam valve. The steam valve can be used for cooking appliances such as electric cookers, electric pressure cookers and the like. The steam valve has a labyrinth-like steam passage structure inside. When cooking, the cooking space of the cooking appliance is communicated with the outside through the steam channel of the steam valve, and forms a certain micro-pressure environment relative to the outside. In addition, the steam valve can also play a role in preventing overflowing.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the steam valve 10 is configured substantially in a disk shape, and mainly includes an upper valve cover 11 and a lower valve cover 12 that are engaged with each other. The valve upper cover 11 and the valve lower cover 12 form a steam passage 14 therebetween through the entire steam valve 10 when they are snapped. The steam passage 14 passes through the valve upper cover 11 and the valve lower cover 12 to form an opening 141 and an opening 142, respectively. Among them, when the steam valve 10 is mounted to the cooking appliance, one of the opening 141 and the opening 142 communicating with the cooking space may be referred to as a steam inlet, and one communicating with the outside may be referred to as a steam outlet.
And a sealing ring 13 is arranged between the upper valve cover 11 and the lower valve cover 12 for sealing. So that steam can pass through the steam passage 14 only through the openings 141 and 142 and cannot escape from the gap between the valve upper cover 11 and the valve lower cover 12. In addition, a grip portion 15 for gripping to move the steam valve 10 and a decorative sheet 16 attached to the grip portion 15 for wear prevention and indication are provided on the valve upper cover 11.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the valve upper cover 11 and the valve lower cover 12 define a fastening direction D in which they approach each other when fastened. The edge of the lower valve cover 12 is provided with a second sidewall 121 extending along the snap-fit direction D. When the valve upper cover 11 and the valve lower cover 12 are buckled, the second side wall 121 is inserted into the inner side of the first side wall 111, and the buckling positioning between the two is realized.
Wherein the first side wall 111 is located at the outer side and thus needs to surround a circumference defined along the snap-fit direction D, while the second side wall 121 is located at the inner side and thus does not necessarily need to surround a circumference along the circumference, for example, it may extend intermittently along the circumference. The design can be designed by the person skilled in the art according to the needs. Further, the first side wall 111 located on the outer side may be provided on the lower valve cover 12, and the second side wall 121 located on the inner side may be provided on the upper valve cover 11. Further, the first side wall 111 and the second side wall 121 are not necessarily provided at the edge of the valve upper cover 11 or the valve lower cover 12, as long as a space constituting the steam passage 14 can be formed between the valve upper cover 11 and the valve lower cover 12 when the two are engaged.
