本实用新型的目的是提供一种可以使来自于多个药物隔室的分开地按剂量配给的药物在笔针头组件中混合并同时输送的用药笔。

根据一个实施例,每个药物隔室包括药物筒,每个剂量配给柱塞接合相应的药物筒。
根据一个实施例,所述用药笔还包括在充填器针头上的止回阀,所述止回阀防止从混合储液器到第一和第二药物隔室中的回流。
根据一个实施例,所述第一和第二剂量配给机构包括自笔本体近端伸出的第一和第二可转动旋钮。
根据一个实施例,所述可动壳体通过具有纵向轴线的轴连接到笔本体,所述可动壳体能够围绕所述轴的轴线从第一位置转动到第二位置,在所述第一位置上所述充填器针头与所述第一药物隔室轴向对准,在所述第二位置上所述充填器针头与所述第二药物隔室轴向对准。
根据一个实施例,所述可塌缩混合储液器包括能够在所述混合储液器内移动并且密封所述混合储液器的止挡件,其中,所述病人端针头穿过所述止挡件延伸以进入到所述混合储液器中,并且,笔针头组件外部上的衬套固定至所述止挡件,以便于使所述衬套沿近端方向的移动使所述止挡件移动以使所述混合储液器塌缩,迫使药物从病人端针头出来。
根据一个实施例,所述第一药物隔室包含胰岛素,所述第二药物隔室包含胰升糖素样肽。

用户将笔针头组件连接到所述可动壳体并且使用剂量配给机构来利用来自于第一药物隔室的药物部分地充填混合储液器。然后将所述可动壳体移动到第二位置并重复所述充填步骤以利用来自于第二药物隔室的药物充填所述混合储液器。在注射过程中,将病人端针头插入到病人组织中并且向着远端、朝向注射位置施压,从而使所述混合储液器塌缩并迫使该混合储液器中的药物通过病人端针头。
尽管这里结合了胰岛素和GLP的共同给药进行了描述,但是该装置可以与适于与用药笔一起使用的其他药物和组合一起使用。
根据本实用新型提供的用药笔的技术效果在于,实现了来自于多个药物隔室的分开地按剂量配给的药物在笔针头组件中混合并同时输送。

具体实施方式
在下面的描述中,“远端”方向是朝向病人端针头和注射位置的方向。“近端”方向是相反的方向,一般但不必要朝向注射装置的具有剂量配 给旋钮的端部。这些图并不是按比例绘制的。
根据本实用新型的用药笔100具有笔本体30,该笔本体30具有至少两个药物隔室32,34。可充填笔针头组件20连接到笔本体远端上的可动壳体40。该可动壳体40允许笔针头组件20接近每个药物隔室32,34中的药物,正如下面所述的。
正如在图1中看到的,药物隔室32,34可以在笔本体中并排布置。一般地,将包含多个剂量的要被混合并共同给药的药物的一次性筒组件300,302插入到用药笔的相应的药物隔室32,34中。例如,包含胰岛素的第一筒设置在第一隔室中,包含GLP的另一个筒设置在第二隔室中。进入药物隔室的入口可以通过笔本体侧面上的门提供,或者这些筒可以轴向滑动到笔本体远端上的开口中,如图1中所示。
药物隔室32,34与各自的剂量配给机构200,202连接。这些药物隔室和剂量配给机构基本是相同的,因此,对一个隔室和剂量配给结构的描述将用于描述它们两个。此外,本领域中已知的剂量配给机构可以适于与本实用新型一起使用。为此目的通过引用将美国专利7,018,364(Bendek等人);6,936,032(Burbank等人);5,961,495(Lee等人);6,585,698(Packman等人);6,932,794(Bendek等人);6,248,095(Giambattista);6,096,010(Lee等人);6,277,099(Strowe等人);和6,221,053(Walters等人)并入于此。
图5示出了笔本体30的下部,为了示出剂量配给机构腔室57和药物隔室32在笔本体30中位置而移除了其顶部。每个药物隔室32,34容纳紧固地保持在笔本体30内部空间中的药物筒组件300,302。如图3的横截面视图所示,药物筒组件300包括敞开的近端和紧固地安装有弹性密封件311的远端。柱塞18在药物筒组件300中布置成滑动流体密封接合。柱塞18最初基本靠近药物筒组件300的近端布置。向着远端方向移动所述柱塞迫使药物从所述药物筒组件300进入到笔针头组件中的混合储液器26中。所述筒组件的柱塞18接合剂量配给机构的丝杠88的远端,正如下面所述的。
用于剂量配给并将药物从相应的药物筒300,302分配到混合储液器 26中的剂量配给机构200可以从上面提到的通过引用并入的美国专利号5,542,760改造而来。正如在前述专利中描述的以及正如在图5的分解视图中示出的,合适的分配机构远离药物隔室34布置并且包括螺母54,所述螺母54具有相对的近端56和远端58。螺母54的外表面区域限定了多个纵向延伸的花键59。螺母54的近端56设有具有扩大端部的多个纵向延伸的弹性指状件,它们能够使螺母54卡接到驱动件50中。螺母54的远端58在径向上扩大,以安装在笔本体中的颈圈53中并且限制了螺母54在腔室57中的轴向移动。
剂量配给机构200还包括安装其中的离合器组件52。离合器组件52包括近端离合器44、远端离合器46和偏压地接合在近端离合器与远端离合器之间的环形弹簧48。近端和远端离合器44,46每个配置成不可转动地接合在螺母54的花键59上。远端离合器46包括面向远端的锯齿阵列,该锯齿阵列的尺寸、布置以及配置设置成与笔本体30内部上的齿啮合,使得远端离合器46仅可以在一个方向上相对于笔本体30转动。
剂量配给机构200还包括具有相对的近端和远端的基本圆柱形的驱动件50。驱动件50容纳螺母54,使得驱动件50的远端卡装在螺母54近端上的弹性指状件的扩大端部上。这种卡装接合阻止了螺母54与驱动件50之间的轴向移动,但是允许在腔室57内自由地相对转动。驱动件50的远端也具有与近端离合器44上的相应的齿啮合的锯齿95阵列。驱动件50的外表面区域具有在其上径向向外延伸并且沿着驱动件50的大部分长度延伸的花键55。
剂量配给机构200还包括剂量配给旋钮60,其具有中空的基本圆柱形的结构。剂量配给旋钮60的内表面64具有轴向延伸的凹槽68,该凹槽68的布置和尺寸设置成与驱动件50上的花键55接合。剂量配给旋钮60是通过花键安装在驱动件50上,以便于剂量配给旋钮60中轴向延伸的凹槽68接合驱动件50的花键55来防止剂量配给旋钮与驱动件之间的相对转动,但是允许腔室57中的相对轴向移动。剂量配给旋钮60的外表面66具有凹槽67,该凹槽67包括轴向分量和在轴向分量相对两端上的切向分量。剂量配给旋钮的外表面66的部分设有剂量标记(未示出) 以限定与沿着凹槽67的不同位置相对应的剂量的量。剂量配给旋钮60的近端具有粗糙外表面以便于操纵从而设定选定的剂量,并且可以包括标记79以便于将剂量配给旋钮设定在特定的设定位置上。将致动器按钮76扣入,以与剂量配给旋钮60的近端接合,同时允许剂量配给旋钮60关于致动器按钮76相对转动。
腔室57的内表面包括按钮86,按钮86的尺寸和布置设置成接合在剂量配给旋钮60的凹槽67中。布置窗口133,以在转动剂量配给旋钮60并且按钮86沿着凹槽67行进时能够使用户看见剂量配给旋钮60上的标记。
剂量配给机构200还包括具有相对的近端和远端以及外螺纹94阵列的丝杠88。螺纹94接合在螺母54中,使得丝杠88的近端在腔室57内并且丝杠的远端上的驱动件头部97向着远端超出颈圈53伸入到药物隔室中,在该药物隔室中其接合药物筒的柱塞18。
剂量配给机构200通过使离合器组件52在螺母54上的花键59上滑动来组装。然后将驱动件50在远端方向上充分推压至螺母54上,以用于与螺母54卡装接合。在这种卡接中,近端离合器44将与驱动件50的远端接合。弹簧48将在离合器与驱动件之间保持恒定的选定压力。然后使剂量配给旋钮60滑到驱动件50上,并使驱动件按钮76与剂量配给旋钮60的近端卡接。将丝杠88旋入螺母54中。
组装好的分配机构200和202插入到笔本体30中靠近相应药物隔室32,34的相应的腔室中。
上述剂量配给和分配机构的细节并不是关键的,现有技术中描述的其他机构也可以适于与根据本实用新型的混合笔一起使用,只要这些机构允许用户将预定量的药物分配到正如下面所述的笔针头组件的混合储液器中。例如,上面结合用户操作的剂量配给设定机构描述了本实用新型,但是所述剂量配给机构还适于将预定量的药物从每个药物隔室分配到混合储液器中而不需要用户设定剂量。
此外,这里使用的术语“用药笔”广泛地指的是除了注射器之外的任何注射装置。用药笔与注射器的不同在于其适于与预包装的药物一起 使用,以便于用户不必使用注射器从小瓶抽出药物。正如本领域中理解的,“笔针头”和“笔针头组件”指的是连接到用药笔的本体的组件。正如与注射器区分开的,笔针头组件在组件近端上具有充填器针头,所述充填器枕头要进入用药笔的本体中的药物隔室。术语“笔”的使用并不暗含与注射装置的形状或结构相关的任何限定,比如致动器布置在该装置近端上。
为了准备混合操作,用户将可充填笔针头组件20拧到笔本体30的远端上的可动壳体40上。为此目的可以在所述壳体上设置螺纹。在图1中示出的实施方式中,可动壳体40设有自壳体的远端伸出的带外螺纹的开口43。该开口能够实现笔针头组件20与所述可动壳体40的螺纹连接。如图2中所示,当沿近端方向移动时,所述可动壳体40滑动到笔本体30上以便于充填针头可以进入药物隔室32和34中的一个或另一个。替代性地,笔针头组件20设有外螺纹,所述可动壳体40设有具有内螺纹的开口。这经由所述可动壳体能够实现笔针头组件与药物隔室32,34的选择性接合而不增加可动壳体的长度。其他配置对于本领域普通技术人员来说是显而易见的,比如可动壳体远端上的内凹开口适于容纳笔针头组件的近端并且提供进入药物隔室的入口。例如,笔针头可以适于与可动壳体40中的合适开口卡接。在这些实施方式中整个笔针头组件与可动壳体40一体成型也是理想的。
在笔针头组件20安装在可动壳体40上并且充填器针头在第一位置上插入到第一药物隔室中之后,用户设定并触发剂量配给机构200以将预定量的第一种药物充填到笔针头组件20的混合储液器26中。
正如在图3和4中看到的,可充填笔针头组件20具有用于执行注射的病人端针头22、用于进入药物隔室32,34的充填器针头24和在病人端针头22与充填器针头24之间的可塌缩混合储液器26。正如通常在本领域中实施的,笔针头组件20可以是一次性的,同时所述筒包含多个剂量的药物。所述笔本体和剂量配给机构一般与所述筒的寿命一样或更长。所述笔针头组件可以包括在病人端针头22上的第一可移除盖(未示出)和在所述充填器针头24上的第二可移除盖(未示出),所述第一可移除 盖在实施注射之前移除,所述第二可移除盖在将笔针头组件安装在可动壳体40上之前移除。在实施方式中,一次性针头止挡件29分开地地安装在笔针头组件20上,使得病人端针头与其整体的支撑体一起适于使用一次,而笔针头组件的混合储液器26使用多次。
如图1和2中所示,所述可动壳体40可以在近端方向上移动以便于充填器针头24在第一位置上刺穿第一药物隔室32的药物筒300的隔膜311。在图1和2的实施方式中,所述可动壳体40经由滑入笔本体30中的轴62连接到笔本体30。轴62允许壳体40在笔本体上从第一位置向远端移动,将充填器针头24从药物隔室32抽出而不需要完全将笔针头组件20从笔本体分离。然后可以使轴62和可动壳体40转动180度,以便于笔针头组件20与第二药物隔室34对准。与笔针头组件20连接的可动壳体40然后朝向近端移动到第二位置,在所述第二位置上充填器针头刺穿第二药物隔室中的筒的隔膜。可以在轴62上设置行程止挡件(未示出),其与笔本体30内部上的止挡件(未示出)接合,限制壳体的远端和近端移动以及围绕所述轴的转动,以辅助用户将笔针头组件20放置成与相应的药物隔室32,34对准。虽然对于可动壳体来说,转动的壳体是目前优选的实施方式,但是壳体从第一位置到第二位置的其他移动模式也在本领域普通技术人员所理解的范围内。此外,笔本体30可以构造成允许药物隔室32和34相对于剂量配给机构移动。从而笔本体30可以围绕轴转动以便于单个剂量配给机构用于充填混合储液器26的多个步骤。
在图3的横截面视图中示出的实施方式中,示出了笔针头组件20在笔本体30的远端上连接到壳体40。笔针头组件20包括病人端针头22和充填器针头24,所述充填器针头24可以进入位于笔本体30内的药物隔室32中的筒组件300中。在该横截面视图中,仅示出了一个药物隔室,但是,每个药物隔室的细节是相同的。一般地,所述药物隔室32适于容纳筒或其他药物容器。然而,在一些应用中,将药物保持在药物隔室内而不使用分开的筒是理想的。正如这里所使用的,“药物隔室”包括其中包括筒的隔室,除非上下文另有需要。

参见图4的扩大图,笔针头组件20包括连接到紧固在笔本体30上的可动壳体40的近端部130,近端部130在远端部230内滑动。近端部130包括用于经由螺纹或其他方式连接到壳体40的开口、支撑充填器针头24的中间壁140以及自所述中间壁140向远端延伸的混合储液器壁110。混合储液器壁110终止于行程限制件5a,该行程限制件5a限制所述远端部230相对于近端部130的行程。所述远端部包括前衬套120和固定到针头支撑体230的滑动密封件180,所述滑动密封件180在混合储液器26内滑动并且密封所述混合储液器26。行程限制件5b接合储液器壁上的行程限制件5a以阻止针头支撑体230向远端超出预定点的移动。当近端部130的行程限制件5a和5b分别与针头支撑体230彼此接触时混合储液器26的容积膨胀到完全充填状态。所述行程限制件5a,5b优选地分别是前衬套120的外壁和储液器壁110上的90度凸缘。滑动密封件180容纳病人端针头22的近端并伸入储液器26中。滑动密封件180的近端在混合储液器26内滑动,同时混合储液器26的外壁110装在前衬套120的内壁与滑动密封件180之间。
除了病人端针头22和隔膜穿透套管24之外,针头组件20的移动部件优选地是通过注射模制或其他合适的工艺由塑料制成的。病人端针头22和隔膜穿透充填器针头24可以由手术质量的金属制成,比如不锈钢。所述隔膜穿透充填器针头24和止回阀23可以通过卡扣、干涉配合、粘结剂、焊接或本领域中公知的其他方式紧固就位。
为了实施混合操作,用户通过转动第一剂量配给机构上的剂量配给旋钮60来选择一定量的要被从第一隔室输送的药物,所述第一剂量配给机构限制丝杠88和止挡件180的行程。然后用户使剂量配给旋钮朝向笔本体前进。剂量配给旋钮的相对移动使丝杠和柱塞朝向笔针头组件20移 动。在该“装载行程”过程中,与丝杠抵接的所述柱塞穿过药物隔室(一般地,在筒内)并且驱动药物从筒组件300进入到混合储液器26中。如上所述,与笔针头连接的可动壳体40朝向远端移动以将充填器针头24与第一药物隔室32脱开,转动所述壳体以使充填器针头与第二药物隔室34对准,并朝向近端移动以使充填器针头24与第二药物隔室接合。
为了执行注射,将该装置放置在病人的皮肤上使得针头进入到组织中。将病人端针头22插入到皮肤中直到碰到针头止挡件,且混合储液器26部分封闭。将会意识到的是针头的长度和规格可以根据是在例如皮下、皮内或静脉注射来修改。一旦针头止挡件29位于皮肤上之后,通过抓握外衬套将向下的力施加至该装置。施加在外衬套上的力朝向针头止挡件29驱动所述壳体。这种移动使密封件180在混合储液器内朝向中间壁140轴向移动,从而使得混合储液器26的容积塌缩并使止回阀密封所述筒与混合储液器26之间的通道。在混合储液器26的容积塌缩的过程中,该装置100对混合储液器26中的药物施压,从而驱动其通过病人端针头22。

Claims (12)

1.一种用药笔,其特征在于,包括:
笔本体,其具有远端和近端,并且具有第一药物隔室和第二药物隔室;
接合在相应的第一和第二药物隔室中的第一和第二剂量配给柱塞、以及第一和第二剂量配给机构;
容纳在笔本体远端上的可动壳体,所述可动壳体适于容纳在笔本体上的第一和第二位置上;
容纳在所述可动壳体远端上的笔针头组件,所述笔针头组件包括病人端针头、充填器针头和位于两者之间的可塌缩混合储液器,所述病人端针头和所述充填器针头能够进入所述混合储液器;其中
所述可动壳体能够在其第一位置与第二位置之间移动,在其第一位置上所述充填器针头与所述第一药物隔室流体联通,在其第二位置上所述充填器针头与所述第二药物隔室流体联通;其中
所述混合储液器在注射过程中能够塌缩而迫使混合储液器中的药物通过病人端针头。
2.根据权利要求1所述的用药笔,其特征在于,每个药物隔室包括药物筒,每个剂量配给柱塞接合相应的药物筒。
3.根据权利要求1所述的用药笔,其特征在于,还包括在充填器针头上的止回阀,所述止回阀防止从混合储液器到第一和第二药物隔室中的回流。
4.根据权利要求1所述的用药笔,其特征在于,所述第一和第二剂量配给机构包括自笔本体近端伸出的第一和第二可转动旋钮。
5.根据权利要求1所述的用药笔,其特征在于,所述可动壳体通过具有纵向轴线的轴连接到笔本体,所述可动壳体能够围绕所述轴的轴线从第一位置转动到第二位置,在所述第一位置上所述充填器针头与所述第一药物隔室轴向对准,在所述第二位置上所述充填器针头与所述第二药物隔室轴向对准。
6.根据权利要求1所述的用药笔,其特征在于,所述可塌缩混合储液器包括能够在所述混合储液器内移动并且密封所述混合储液器的止挡件,其中,
所述病人端针头穿过所述止挡件延伸以进入到所述混合储液器中,并且,
笔针头组件外部上的衬套固定至所述止挡件,以便于使所述衬套沿近端方向的移动使所述止挡件移动以使所述混合储液器塌缩,迫使药物从病人端针头出来。
7.根据权利要求1所述的用药笔,其特征在于,所述第一药物隔室包含胰岛素,所述第二药物隔室包含胰升糖素样肽。
8.根据权利要求1所述的用药笔,其特征在于,包括在所述可动壳体远端上的凹入的开口,该凹入的开口适于容纳笔针头组件的近端以提供进入所述药物隔室的入口。
