由于过料平台表面设置了许多通气孔，通气孔与气源相连。这样在拉料、多层贴合、局部贴合过程中，需要加工材料经过过料平台时就可以通过通气孔吸气的吸力作用来控制张力，而不用经过很多条过道辊和压板，这样控制材料平稳且不会被划伤，使加工出来的产品外观光洁，精度高。
