一种电连接器,其包括设有一侧面的本体及包覆本体的屏蔽壳体,屏蔽壳体包括沿本体的侧面相互扣合的第一部分及第二部分,所述本体在对应所述扣合处设有楔形结构,楔形结构设有沿本体侧面向外倾斜延伸的倾斜面,屏蔽壳体的第一部分是在楔形结构的导引下,滑动至与第二部分扣合配合。采用本实用新型的电连接器在装配时定位准确、组装方便,从而提高生产效率。

【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种具有屏蔽壳体的电连接器,尤其是关于该电连接器的屏蔽壳体的安装结构。
【背景技术】
美国专利第6,172,089号揭示了一种电连接器,该电连接器设有包覆绝缘本体的屏蔽壳体,屏蔽壳体的侧壁的上部与后部设有卡片,顶壁及后壁的扣合部上设有扣孔,装配时,按压顶壁及后壁,使顶壁及后壁扣合部沿侧壁的外表面移动使得扣孔与卡片达成配合。
上述电连接器在按压顶壁时,顶壁及后壁的扣合部与侧壁相抵压,甚至误插进侧壁与绝缘本体之间的空隙处,从而使得装配比较困难,进而影响生产效率。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型所要解决的技术问题是:屏蔽壳体定位准确、组装方便的电连接器。
为解决上述问题,本实用新型提供一种电连接器,其包括设有一侧面的本体及包覆本体的屏蔽壳体,屏蔽壳体包括沿本体的侧面相互扣合的第一部分及第二部分,所述本体在对应所述扣合处设有楔形结构,楔形结构设有沿本体侧面向外倾斜延伸的倾斜面,屏蔽壳体的第一部分是在楔形结构的导引下,滑动至与第二部分扣合配合。
相较于现有技术,本实用新型之电连接器的第一部分与第二部分在扣合时,第一部分通过楔形结构的导引直接滑到第二部分上的正确位置处而实现配合,定位准确、组装方便、生产效率高。

【具体实施方式】
如图1-2所示,本实用新型电连接器100包括绝缘本体10、收容在绝缘本体10内的端子模组20、及包覆在绝缘本体10上的屏蔽壳体30。
如图3所示,绝缘本体10大体成长方体状,其包括对接面11、顶面12、底面13、两侧面14、及后面15。前面11上设有对接孔111,自对接孔111向后面15方向延伸的收容空间112。在底面13与两侧面14接合处均设有倒角16,在倒角16靠近两侧面14的末端形成有高出侧面14的楔形结构17,楔形结构17包括与倒角16的沿伸方向相同的倾斜面171,垂直于侧面14的垂直面172。
屏蔽壳体30包括上壳体31及与上壳体31相卡扣配合的下壳体32。上壳体31包括顶壁311、自顶壁311相对两侧垂直向下延伸有一对上侧壁312、上侧壁312的下端设有卡钩313。下壳体32包括底壁321、自底壁321的相对两侧垂直向上延伸有一对下侧壁322、下侧壁322的上端相应位置处设有扣孔323。
如图1-6所示,装配时,将端子模组20沿绝缘本体10后面15装入绝缘本体10中;再将上壳体31从绝缘本体10的上方装在绝缘本体10上,此时上壳体31的上侧壁312靠近楔形结构的垂直面172处,楔形结构17高出侧面14的高度与上侧壁312的厚度相平齐;将下壳体32的下侧壁322沿绝缘本体10的底面13与两侧面14接合处的倒角16及楔形结构17的倾斜面171一直向上壳体31的上侧壁312处移动,因为楔形结构17高出侧面14的部分与上侧壁312相平齐,所以,继续装配下壳体32时,下壳体32的两个下侧壁322将直接移动到上壳体31的上侧壁312的上方,而不会与上侧壁312相抵压或者误插到上侧壁312与绝缘本体10之间的位置处,从而使得下壳体32能够快速、准确地实现配合。
当然屏蔽壳体30也可以设计成一片式的结构(未图示),楔形结构17也可以设计在绝缘本体10其他面的任意位置处,屏蔽壳体30在楔形结构17处实现配合。
采用本实用新型的电连接器100,在将屏蔽壳体30装配到绝缘本体10上时,屏蔽壳体30定位准确、组装方便,从而提高生产效率。

Claims (7)

1.一种电连接器,其包括设有一侧面的本体及包覆本体的屏蔽壳体,屏蔽壳体包括沿本体的侧面相互扣合的第一部分及第二部分,其特征在于:所述本体在对应所述扣合处设有楔形结构,楔形结构设有沿本体侧面向外倾斜延伸的倾斜面,屏蔽壳体的第一部分是在楔形结构的导引下,滑动至与第二部分扣合配合。
2.如权利要求1所述电连接器,其特征在于:所述楔形结构还包括与本体侧面垂直的垂直面。
3.如权利要求2所述电连接器,其特征在于:所述屏蔽壳体的第二部分安装在靠近楔形结构垂直面处。
4.如权利要求3所述电连接器,其特征在于:所述楔形结构凸出本体侧面的高度与屏蔽壳体的第二部分的厚度相同。
5.如权利要求1所述电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一部分与第二部分之间的配合是通过设置在它们上的扣钩与扣孔之间的卡扣实现。
6.如权利要求1所述电连接器,其特征在于:所述侧面一端设有倒角,楔形结构的倾斜面从倒角末端沿倒角沿伸方向延伸形成。
7.如权利要求1所述电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器还包括收容在本体内的端子模组。
