电连接器【技术领域】本.实用新型公开了一种电连接器,尤指一种具有金属壳体的电连接器。 【背景技术】随着信息产业的发展,各种便携式电子产品越来越普及,闪存盘(USBFlash Disk)已成为目前市场上最为普及的便携式电子产品之一,其与计算机或其他 电子产品之间的数据交换是通过通用串行总线(USB,Universal Serial Bus)连 接器来实现的。该种电连接器一般包括一体成型的金属壳体、收容于金属壳体 内的绝缘本体,以及收容于绝缘本体内的若干端子,其中金属壳体上或下表面 中间设有铆接点,而该金属壳体两側端设有与电路板相烨接的焊接脚,该种电 连接器在使用中需要反复插拔,在对接连接器插入时,水平方向的力作用于绝 缘本体,竖直方向的力则作用于铆接点,使得铆接点容易发生开裂,影响电连 接器的使用。鉴于以上弊端,实有必要提供一种改进的电连接器,以克服上述电连接器 的缺陷。【实用新型内容】本实用新型所要解决的技术问题是提供一种稳定接插的电连接器。 为解决上迷技术问题,本实用新型提供了一种电连接器,包括金属壳体、 收容于金属壳体内的绝缘本体,以及收容于绝缘本体内的若干端子,其中金属 壳体分为上壳体和下壳体,上壳体由上盖板及沿上盖板外側延伸的侧壁组成, 侧壁向外延伸有第一翼部,下壳体向外延伸有与第一翼部相应的第二翼部,第 一翼部与第二翼部其一设有铆接开口,另外一个设有铆接脚,铆接开口和铆接 脚铆合后与电路板焊接连接。与现有技术相比,本实用新型具有如下有益效果:当电连接器插拔时,由 于铆接位置在金属壳体外側延伸的第一翼部和第二翼部,且铆接开口和铆接脚 铆合后经过焊接,结合强度提高,可有效防止金属壳体的开裂。 【附困说明】
图l为本实用新型电连接器組合图。图2为本实用新型电连接器的分解图。 图.3为本实用新型电连接器另一角度的分解图。 【具体实施方式】如图1至图3所示,本实用新型电连接器1包括金属壳体2、收容于金属壳体2 内的绝缘本体3、收容于绝缘本体3内的若干端子4,其中,金属壳体2分为上壳 体20和下壳体21,上壳体20向外延伸有用于铆接的铆接开口2012,下壳体21设 有相应的铆接脚2102,铆接开口2012和铆接脚2102形成铆接部(未标示)。绝缘本体3由本部30及由本部30向前延伸的舌部31组成。其中,本部30底端 横向设有两个定位挡块302,在两个定位挡块302中间设有若干由挡块(未标示) 间隔的收容端子4的第一收容槽301,在本部30顶端还设有开槽303用于和上壳 体20连接,开槽303两槽壁设有凸缘304。另外,舌部31设有收容端子4的第二 收容槽310。上壳体20由上盖板200及由上盖板200向两側延伸的两侧壁201组成,其中上 盖板200后端设有上开口2000,上开口2000内设有卡持片2001,可卡持于绝缘 本体3本部30的开槽303中,另外,側壁201还向外延伸有第一翼部202,第一翼 部202上设有铘接开口2012。下壳体21后端开设有下开口2100,下开口2100两 侧延伸设有固持绝缘本体3的卡钩2101。在下壳体21两侧延伸有第二翼部211, 第二翼部21 l设有相应于上壳体20^P接开口 2012的铆接脚2102。每一端子4均包括对接部40,焊接部42,以及连接对接部40和焊接部42的连 接部41。组装时,连接部41和对接部40分别相应收容于第一收容槽301和第二 收,310中,部分连接部41和整个焊接部42露于绝缘本体3后端。组装时,请对照图2,先将若干端子4收容于绝缘本体3的第一收容槽301和 第二收容槽310中,接着将收容有端子4的绝缘本体3由前向后装入下壳体21, 下壳体21卡钩2101抵接于绝缘本体3的后端,同时,绝缘本体3本部30第一收容 槽301两侧的的定位挡块302卡持于下壳体21下开口2100中,然后将上壳体20盖 下,上壳体20的卡持片2O01卡持于绝缘本体3本部3O顶端的开槽3O3中,开槽303 两侧的两个凸緣304卡持于上壳体20上开口2000中,这样上壳体20上开口2000、 下壳体21下开口2100、上壳体20卡持片2001,下壳体21卡钩2101将绝缘本体3 牢固的固持于上壳体20、下壳体21形成的收容空间(未标示)内。将下壳体21
铆接脚2102铆接于上壳体20的铆接开口2012中。至此,该电连接器l组装完毕。 本实施方式的另一种实现形式也可以是上壳体20第 一翼部202上设置铆接 脚2102而下壳体21第二翼部211上设有相应的铆接开口2012,铆接后经过焊接, 提高结合强度。本实施方式还可以是:金属壳体为一体成型框体结构,由相对的上、下盖 板及相对的左、右側壁围设而成,于其右侧壁上设有铆接点,左、右侧壁中间 位置向外反向延伸有焊接脚,焊接脚焊接在电路板上,使得该电连接器稳定, 由于铆接点设置在右侧壁上,而不是设置在上、下盖板上,因此当该电连接器 与对接连接器相对接时可防止金属壳体因在水平方向受力而开裂。以上所述仅为本实用新型的实施方式,不是全部的实施方式,本领域普通 技术人员通过阅读本实用新型说明书而对本实用新型技术方案采取的任何等 效的变化,均为本实用新型的权利要求所涵盖。
