如图1所示，包括容器1、密封固定在容器1上的设有一通孔的容器盖2、带有手柄3的切割刀4，切割刀4的手柄3穿过容器盖2上的通孔伸出容器1，伸出部分足够人们用手把持。手柄2与容器盖2上的通孔之间留有间隙，该间隙可以满足切割刀4切割的灵便动作。为了保护容器1，在容器1的内腔底部设有一切割垫5。切割刀4可做成双刀口，有利于切割。容器1圆柱形透明容器而且在容器1上部设有把手，这样有利于人们观察和操作。对于洋葱、大蒜、大葱等之类的有刺激性气味的蔬菜，需要切割时，将它们放入容器内进行切割即可，这样刺激性气味便不会散发出来而冲刺人们的鼻孔、眼睛，直接影响切割动作，故安全、实用，结构也简单。
