本申请要求于2005年12月5日在韩国知识产权局提交的第10-2005-0117670号韩国专利申请的优先权，该申请的公开通过引用全部包含于此。
技术领域
与本发明一致的方法和装置涉及一种数字电视(TV)，更具体地讲，涉及一种除了接收广播之外还通过与网络连接来提供各种服务的数字TV。
背景技术
随着消费电子器材和IT设备越来越集成，已经出现了一种以数字TV入口的形式用于家庭的新服务。数字TV入口服务是一个新概念，在这项服务中通过使用与网络连接的数字TV，用户可以享有各种数字内容，如新闻、电影、教育、音乐和游戏。通过操作TV遥控装置，用户可以在他们的起居室内通过数字TV的屏幕来接收互联网上提供的各种服务。然而，由于这些服务仍处在初期阶段，并没有由数字TV入口提供的很多特定的服务示例。
图1是根据现有技术的使用照片显影服务的方法的流程图。
为了使数字照片图像显影，首先，在操作100，用户将存储照片图像的数字照相机连接到个人计算机(PC)。如果PC读取存储在数字照相机中的图像，并显示照片的列表，则在操作110，用户复制期望的图像并将复制的图像存储在PC的预定目录下。
然后，在操作120，用户访问提供照片显影服务的网页。在提供照片显影服务的网页中，如果用户通过互联网上载期望被显影的照片图像，并注册他/她的个人信息和地址信息，则根据这项服务，照片被显影并且显影的照片被递送到注册的地址。因此，在操作130，用户利用用于上载文件的插件程序将要被显影的图像上载到提供照片显影服务的网页。另外，发送用于支付照片显影服务所需的信息，从而在操作140，进行支付。
即，根据现有技术的方法，用户不得不亲自执行复杂的步骤，如复制图像、访问网页、上载文件和发送支付信息，因此不熟悉PC的人不能轻松地使用该服务。另外，当数字TV入口提供照片显影服务时，用户仅使用一个遥控装置来执行这些步骤。然而，该遥控装置仅具有有限数目的按钮，因此，用户不得不执行多个键操作。
发明内容
本发明的示例性实施例克服了上述缺点以及前面没有描述的其它缺点。另外，本发明不需要克服上述缺点，本发明的示例性实施例可以不克服上述任何问题。
本发明提供了一种能够使用户通过使用数字TV来使用互联网上提供的照片显影服务的方法，而不需要执行很多键操作。
根据本发明的一方面，提供了一种在数字TV中提供照片显影服务的方法，所述方法包括：如果存储照片图像的外部存储介质连接到数字TV，则在屏幕上自动显示部分或所有的照片图像；将用户从被显示图像中选择的图像发送到提供照片显影服务的网站，并请求显影所述图像。
在自动显示一部分照片图像或所有照片图像的步骤中，可以仅显示在存储在所述外部图像介质中的图像中具有特定格式的图像，或者可以仅显示存储在所述存储介质中的图像中特定数量的图像。
在将所述图像发送到所述网站并请求显影所述图像的步骤中，用户可以将选择的图像与被显影的照片将被递送至其的用户的地址信息一起发送。

图2是根据本发明的示例性实施例的在数字TV中提供照相显影服务的方法的流程图。
根据本示例性实施例，用户将数字照相机与数字TV连接，如果数字TV识别这种连接(操作210)，则存储在数字照相机里的图像被自动地复制到目录下(操作220)。为了将数字TV与数字照相机连接，可以使用各种接口如IEEE1394接口或通用串行总线(USB)，但是接口并不限于此。另外，用户可以将多种类型的可连接到数字TV的存储介质以及存储照片图像的数字照相机连接到数字TV。
同时，用户可以预先指定数字照相机的图像复制到其的目录。在本示例性实施例中，解释的是复制所有存储在数字照相机中的图像，但是也可以设置成这样的方式，即仅复制用户预先设定的具有特定格式或特定尺寸的图像。例如，根据用户的设定，仅复制联合图像专家组(JPEG)图像文件，或仅复制具有大小小于200kb的图像文件。
如果完成了图像文件的复制，则数字TV将复制的图像显示给用户(操作230)。这时，为了方便用户，可以生成并显示复制的图像的缩略图。同时，基于这种实现，可以显示所有复制的图像，或者根据可以一次在一个屏幕上显示的特定尺寸的图像的数目，可以仅显示一部分图像。
接着，如果用户通过利用遥控装置从被显示的图像中选择期望被显影的图像，则通过互联网将用户选择的图像发送到提供照片显影服务的网站(操作240)。用户可以预先设定通过其将被显影的图像被发送的网络的地址。接着，发送显影的图像将被递送到其的用户的地址信息并发送支付所需的信息(操作250)。用户可以预先输入这些信息项，并将这些信息项存储在数字TV中。支付所需的信息可以是信用卡卡号，或移动电话号码，但是并不限于此。
如果使用执行如上所述的操作的数字TV，用户可以通过将数字照相机与数字TV连接，然后用遥控装置选择照片图像来显影期望的图像，而不需要执行其它复杂的操作。
图3是根据本发明另一示例性实施例的在数字TV中提供照片显影服务的方法的流程图。该示例性实施例用于这样一种情况，即，用户将数字照相机与数字TV连接并完成图像文件的复制，但随后关闭了TV而不执行后续的处理然后一会再打开TV。
因为已经完成了图像文件的复制，所以如果用户通过使用遥控装置执行照片显影程序(操作310)，则照片显影程序生成先前复制的照片图像的缩略图，并显示这些缩略图(操作320)。

如图4所示，根据本发明示例性实施例的数字TV400包括输入/输出单元420、连接单元430、显影处理单元440、存储单元450、图像处理单元460和网络通信单元470。尽管本示例性实施例假定提供照片显影服务的装置以数字TV实现，但该装置也可以实现为如机顶盒的独立装置。
输入/输出单元420通过接收用户的遥控输入或将显示图像显示给用户来对用户提供接口。连接单元430提供与存储照片图像的外部存储介质410(如数字照相机或移动存储器)的连接接口。如果通过连接单元430来连接外部存储介质410，则图像处理单元460将存储在外部存储介质410中的照片图像存储在存储单元450中，并且产生这些图像的缩略图，并通过输入/输出单元420将缩略图显示给用户。
图像处理单元460可以显示存储在外部存储介质410中的所有图像，也可以仅显示具有用户预先设定的特定格式的图像。这种设定信息存储在存储单元450中。
如果用户操作遥控装置并选择所有或一部分通过输入/输出单元420显示的图像，则显影处理单元440从存储单元450提取相应的图像，并将这些图像发送到提供照片显影服务的网站480。通过提供与互联网的通信接口的网络通信单元470发送这些图像。
这时，显影处理单元440发送显影的照片将被递送至其的用户的地址信息和支付所需的信息(操作250)。用户也以提前将这些信息项存储在存储单元450中。
图5示出了根据本发明示例性实施例的在数字TV中显示图像的屏幕。
如果用户将存储照片图像的数字照相机或存储介质连接到数字TV，或者如果用户打开数字TV并执行显影程序，则显示图5中示出的屏幕。因此，如果从显示的图像中选择期望的图像并仅仅按下“显影”按钮，则用户可以使用照片显影服务。
本发明也可被示例示例性地实现为计算机可读记录介质上的计算机可读代码。计算机可读记录介质是任何可以存储其后可被计算机系统读取的数据的数据存储设备。计算机可读记录介质的示例包括只读存储器(ROM)。随机存取存储器(RAM)、CD-ROM、磁带、软盘、光学数据存储设备、载波(如通过互联网的数据传输)。
根据本发明的示例性实施例，当用户将数字照相机连接到数字TV，并选择期望被显影的图像时，可以方便地显影存储在数字照相机中的照片图像，而不需要执行其它复杂的操作。
尽管已经参照示例性实施例具体地示出和描述了本发明，但是本领域的普通技术人员应该理解，在不脱离由权利要求限定的本发明的范围和精神的情况下，可以对本发明在形式和细节上做出各种修改。示例性实施例应该被认为仅仅是描述性的意思，而没有限制的目的。因此，本发明的范围不是由本发明的详细描述限定，而是由权利要求限定，并且在本发明范围内的所有差异应该被理解为包括在本发明内。

Claims (19)

1、一种在数字电视中提供照片显影服务的方法，所述方法包括：
在所述数字电视的屏幕上自动显示存储在与所述数字电视连接的外部存储介质中的多个图像中的至少一个图像；
将用户从被显示的所述至少一个图像中选择的图像发送到提供照片显影服务的网站，并请求显影所述图像。
2、根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中，在所述自动显示步骤中，仅显示在存储在所述外部图像介质中的图像中具有特定格式的图像。
3、根据权利要求2所述的方法，其中，所述特定的格式是联合图像专家组格式。
4、根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中，在所述自动显示步骤中，显示存储在所述存储介质中的图像中特定数量的图像。
5、根据权利要求4所述的方法，其中，所述特定数量由所述图像的大小确定并由用户输入。
6、根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中，在所述图像到所述网站的发送和所述图像的显影请求中，用户将选择的图像与被显影的照片将被递送的用户的地址信息一起发送。
7、根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中，在所述将图像发送到所述网站并请求显影所述图像的步骤中，用户将选择的图像与支付照片显影所需的信息一起发送到网站。
8、根据权利要求1所述的方法，其中，通过通用串行总线执行所述连接。
9、一种计算机可读记录介质，其上实施有用于执行在数字电视中提供照片显影服务的方法的计算机程序，所述方法包括：
在所述数字电视的屏幕上自动显示存储在与所述数字电视连接的外部存储介质中的多个图像中的至少一个图像；
将用户从被显示的所述至少一个图像中选择的图像发送到提供照片显影服务的网站，并请求显影所述图像。
10、一种用于在数字电视中提供照片显影服务的装置，所述装置包括：
图像处理单元，用于控制所述装置，从而如果存储照片图像的外部存储介质连接到数字电视，则在所述数字电视的屏幕上自动显示所述照片图像中的至少一个；
显影处理单元，根据所述用户的输入，将所述显示的照片图像中的所述至少一个发送到提供照片显影服务的网站。
11、根据权利要求10所述的装置，其中，所述图像处理单元控制所述装置，从而仅显示存储在所述存储介质中的所述图像中具有特定格式的图像。
12、根据权利要求11所述的装置，其中，所述特定格式是联合图像专家组格式。
13、根据权利要求10所述的装置，其中，所述图像处理单元控制所述装置，从而显示存储在所述存储介质中的所述图像中特定数量的图像。
14、根据权利要求13所述的装置，其中，所述特定数量由所述图像的大小确定，并由所述用户输入。
15、根据权利要求10所述的装置，其中，所述显影处理单元将所述用户的地址信息发送到所述网站，显影的照片将被递送到所述用户的地址信息处。
16、根据权利要求10所述的装置，其中，所述显影处理单元将支付照片显影所需的信息发送到所述网站。
17、根据权利要求10所述的装置，还包括连接单元，用于提供与所述外部存储介质的连接接口。
18、根据权利要求17所述的装置，其中，所述连接单元包括通用串行总线接口。
19、根据权利要求10所述的装置，还包括输入/输出单元，用于提供用于用户输入的接口并输出将被显示的照片图像。
