本发明涉及一种保护部件,特别是涉及一种护胫。
背景技术
在很多项运动中,运动员的身体必须使用适当的器具加以保护,以避免受伤。例如,在进行冰球或者美式橄榄球比赛时,运动员要佩戴头盔并且穿着填充了厚垫的外衣,以便在运动员与其他运动员或者运动器械强烈碰撞时保护运动员。又例如,足球运动员的护胫,是用来避免运动员的胫骨被对方运动员的足球鞋,特别是鞋底的硬钉踢伤。同样可以想到,射门力量极大的球会对胫骨带来伤害,而护胫可以防止这种伤害。
现有技术中的护胫主要包括一块或多块硬塑料板以及附带的缓冲材料。尽管一般说来,这样的结构可以提供足够的保护,但是,公知的护胫并不是没有缺点。具体地说,塑料板限制了运动员的行动自由。此外,还需要复杂的安装构件,以确保使这种护胫在使用时的位置不会改变,这一点更加严重地妨碍了运动员。结果,很多运动员宁愿承担受伤的风险,也不愿佩戴护胫进行比赛。
类似的问题也发生在运动员的其他保护部件上,例如,直排轮滑运动员或滑雪运动员使用的护肘、护膝,由于这些部件既妨碍运动员的行动,又不够舒适,所以很多运动员不愿意佩戴它们。
与这些运动保护器具的设计相比,防弹背心的结构属于完全不同的技术领域。在US 5,364,679号美国专利文献公开了一种用多层(半)球体构件制作的护身盔甲,其中相对球体的表面在某一点上相互接触。结果,击中背心的子弹的冲击力被分散在在众多球体上,因而有效地挡住了子弹。运动员采用这种设计的运动保护部件,会使得保护装置过于厚实和沉重。因此这种保护装置不能改善穿戴的舒适程度。
因此,本发明所要解决的问题是提供一种保护部件,具体地说,是提供一种护胫,它克服了现有技术中的上述缺点,尤其是它具有较高的穿戴舒适性能,并且不会妨碍运动员的技术动作。
发明内容
本发明用一种保护部件,特别是用一种护胫解决了上述问题,这种护胫包括一层在其上布置有多个坚硬的突起的第一柔性支撑层,以及在其上布置有多个坚硬的容纳构件的第二柔性支撑层,其中,上述容纳构件具有形状基本上与上述突起互补并且/或者相互分开足够距离以形成用来容纳上述突起的凹槽的部分。
柔性的第一支撑层和第二支撑层,一方面分别与坚硬的突起和容纳构件结合;另一方面,按照本发明,它们的结合形成了一种保护表面,这种保护表面与现有技术中的刚性板不同,它可以灵活地适应所要保护的身体部位的外轮廓。这样就能个别地与保护部件相配。此外,由于支撑层是有柔性的,所以保护部件的形状能够屈从于所要保护的身体部位的运动,这样就提高了穿戴的舒适度。如果想要保护运动员的关节,比如肘部、膝部,这一点特别重要。
按照本发明的突起,以及由容纳构件的互补形状的部分所形成的凹槽,和/或它们的布置方式,使得最终的坚硬保护层的厚度大大减小了。这样,就使得本发明的这种保护部件区别于现有技术中的(半)球体结构,例如,在专利号为US5,364,679的美国专利文献中所公开的以点接触方式相互接触的(半)球体结构。
优选地,上述突起呈圆弧形,更具体地说,它们是穹顶形的,并且容纳构件的上述部分也具有相应的圆弧形。因此,当柔性支撑层弯曲以便适应自然轮廓或者适应人体部位的运动时,所述圆弧形突起就能在圆弧形的部分中滑动,而不会卡住。在这种情况下,由突起和容纳构件结合形成的坚硬层的保护性能不会降低。
在一个优选实施例中,上述容纳构件是这样布置的,即,由若干个容纳构件形成一个凹槽,以容纳一个突起。施加在突起部件某一区域上的载荷,例如,由一枚作用在保护部件外面的钉子所施加的载荷,就能分配到更大的区域中,从而将其分散开来。优选地,由四个相邻的容纳构件构成容纳一个突起的凹槽。从身体的角度看,所述突起优选地布置在保护部件的外侧支撑层上,而容纳构件布置在内侧支撑层上。
突起优选地分开布置在第一支撑层上,而容纳构件优选地分开布置在第二支撑层上。这样的布置方式有利于改变两层支撑层的结构形式,以适应所要保护的身体部位的外轮廓。
第一和/或第二柔性支撑层优选地包括织物。这样就能很容易地将本发明的保护部件与衣物,例如足球运动员的短袜,结合在一起。

具体实施方式
下面,以足球运动员用的护胫的一个完整层为例,进一步描述本发明的优选实施例。然而,可以理解的是本发明同样能够用在其它多种运动员的保护装置上,例如直排轮滑运动员或滑雪板运动员使用的保护肘部、膝部的部件。其他的应用是可用于曲棍球运动员的各种保护部件,尤其是守门员,还可以用于摩托车运动员或山地车运动员。另一个重要的应用领域是用于英式橄榄球或者美式橄榄球肩部保护部件。这种保护部件可以直接与一件衣服结合,或者放置在相应的口袋里。还可能存在一种混合的设计,其中只有一部分(例如一支撑层)与衣物的编织物结合,而其他组成部分是可以拆卸的。

由于突起20仅与容纳构件40接触而不是永久性地相互连接,所以如果需要的话,图1a和图1b的整体层也可以具有弯曲的形状,以配合待要保护的人体部位的轮廓或运动。
使用适当的方法,就能把图1a中的突起20和容纳构件40分别固定在支撑层10、50上。除了缝合、粘合或类似的方法外,还发现,如果突起20和容纳构件40的塑料材料是用模制、注塑模制或者流动模制的方法直接模制在支撑层上,将会具有更多实质性的优点。这是因为,这种加工过程很容易实现自动化。塑料材料通常使用热塑性聚氨酯(TPU)或者聚烯烃,例如丙烯睛-丁二烯-苯乙烯(ABS)。单个的突起20和容纳构件40最好分开布置在支撑层上。然而,如图1b所示的布置方式也是可以预见的,其中,单个的突起20和容纳构件40与它们各自的支撑层10和50制造成一个整体。
此外,还可以分别在各个突起或容纳构件40之间设置连接脊(图中未表示)。使用了这样的连接脊,就可以有选择地改进保护部件的结构。以护胫为例,可以想象在一排沿着护胫纵向延伸的突起或容纳构件之间布置连接脊,以形成若干排突起和/或若干排容纳构件。这样的护胫仍然具有能够适应胫骨各处弯曲的柔性。然而在纵向方向上,这种护胫基本上是刚性的。
图2和图3表示本发明的另一个优选实施例。与图1b的实施例类似,本实施例的突起20呈圆弧形,并且最好是穹顶形。各凹槽30分别由四个具有相应圆弧形侧表面41的容纳构件40构成,所述圆弧形侧表面能够与圆弧形突起20啮合。然而,也可以想象其他形状的突起20,比如六边形、椭圆形、三角形、四边形或者其他形状,甚至是不对称的形状(图中未表示)。于是,容纳构件40就同样具有相对应形状和/或相对应的间隔,也形成一个与这些实施例中的那些突起接触的区域,从而获得上面说明过的保护效果。
图2表示一个贯穿整个层的截面,其中支撑层10和支撑层50之间分开一定距离,所以各个突起20与容纳构件40可以认为是相互分开的。如上文所述,在成品护胫中,两个支撑层10和50最好是在侧边缘上,例如,通过缝合、粘合或者焊接相互连接。然而,这种连接并不是必需的。
由于突起20和容纳构件40所形成的凹槽30都是圆弧形的,因此图1b和图2的实施例要比图1a的实施例更容易弯曲。并且可以避免某些突起20与容纳构件40之间的卡住。
图3中的俯视图表示容纳穹顶形突起的凹槽30,它通常由四个相邻的容纳构件40构成。结果,例如由鞋底的尖钉所施加在突起20的外侧平面21的某一点上的冲击力,就会分散到四个容纳构件40的全部表面上,因而只有一个较小的冲击力作用在处于下方的身体部位上(图中未表示)。
除了圆弧形的侧表面41以外,每一个容纳构件40还具有图3实施例中的星形中心区域43。为了减轻重量,可以在星形中心上设置一个孔42。与此相似,凹槽30的中心区域也可以没有材料。也就是说,圆弧形侧表面41已经足以使圆弧形突起20保持在四个容纳构件40之间的中心位置上。这样就减小了整个层的厚度,并且减轻了重量。在其他的实施例中,凹槽30中是有材料的。
结果,按照本实施例的整个层,可以直接与适当的衣物做成一个整体。为了达到这个目的,支撑层10和/或50可以是短袜、裤子和/或夹克的布料的一部分。由于突起20啮合在凹槽30中,所以就获得了一层比较薄的坚硬的层,它的体积通常比现有技术的护胫小。或者,也可以提供一种带有图1~3中所示的整个层的,能够插入口袋或者类似衣物(比如短袜)中的插入物。此外,还可以想象,在所要保护的身体部位周围,像绷带那样,缠绕一层图1a~3的柔性材料。
为了避免外部支撑层10过早磨损,还可以在它的外侧附设一层涂覆层60(参见图2),这种涂覆层,例如,是由适当的橡胶加强筋组成。以护胫为例,橡胶涂覆层60除了保护护胫不被磨损与撕破以外,还在球必须与胫骨接触的情况下,更好地控制球。同样,在其他保护部件的情况下,这种附加的涂覆层60也与以上提到的作为例子的方式一样,有很多优点。与突起20和容纳构件40一样,涂覆层60同样可以直接模制在支撑层10上。或者,还可以直接把涂覆层60与突起20的外表面21连接在一起,例如,使用通过支撑层10的粘接和/或焊接的方式(图中未表示)。还可以想象,可以把涂覆层60与突起20和/或支撑层10一起进行注塑模制,以进一步便利制造。
图1a~3所示的装置,一方面,是用来防止尖状物穿透所要保护的身体部位的,另一方面,是为了把撞击的震动分散在更宽的表面上。此外,最好设置一层缓冲层,通过适当的变形来缓冲所发生的撞击,这不仅适用于护胫也适用于其他保护部件。为了达到这个目的,通常是在支撑层10和/或支撑层50附近设置合适的缓冲材料,例如,用泡沫材料(例如EVA泡沫材料)制作的缓冲材料。
图4表示一种目前最常用的缓冲材料。在两层织物层100之间布置有多个基本上在垂直于两层织物层100的平面上延伸的塑料纤维110。当这种公知的,通常称之为3D网状物的缓冲材料受到压缩时,也就是当这两层织物层100相向移动时,大多数塑料纤维110必须发生弯曲和相互摩擦。结果,因为纤维是有弹性的,并且总是要恢复到原来的形状,从而有效地缓冲了压缩运动。
这种缓冲材料的寿命很长,因此特别适合于与图1a~3中所述的完整层结合在一起使用。两层织物100中的一层织物可以同时具有两层支撑层10或50中的一层支撑层的作用,因此,最后的完整层(图中未表示)既具有保护功能,也具有缓冲功能。正如上面已经描述的那样,使用3D网状物的另一个优点是,这种材料具有良好的透气性能。与普通的缓冲材料(例如橡胶泡沫)相反,气流可以很容易地从各个方向穿过3D网状物。这个优点是很重要的,特别是对于那些与运动员服装做成一个整体的保护部件。
承受非常大的载荷的保护部件可以是包含若干保护层的组合件,所述保护层具有外部突起20以及形状与其相对应的,并且具有上述缓冲材料的容纳构件40。例如,所述的缓冲材料可以布置在两层坚硬的保护层(图中未表示)之间,其中,上部织物层100是上面保护层的下部支撑层,而下部织物层100是下面保护层的上部支撑层。如果在护胫中使用这种保护构件,那么,这样一种设计将对防止对方运动员鞋底尖钉的穿透形成特别安全的保护。

Claims (19)

1.一种保护部件,具体而言是一种护胫,包括:
a.第一柔性支撑层(10),在上述第一柔性支撑层(10)上布置有多个坚硬的突起(20);
b.第二柔性支撑层(50),在上述第二柔性支撑层(50)上布置有多个坚硬的容纳构件(40),其中
c.上述容纳构件(40)具有形状基本上与上述突起(20)互补并且/或者相互分开足够距离以形成用来容纳上述突起(20)的凹槽(30)的部分(41)。
2.如权利要求1所述的保护部件,其特征在于,上述突起(20)具有圆弧形的形状,并且上述容纳构件(40)的部分(41)具有相对应的圆弧形状。
3.如权利要求2所述的保护部件,其特征在于,上述突起(20)是穹顶形的。
4.如前述权利要求中的任何一项权利要求所述的保护部件,其特征在于,上述容纳构件(40)被排列成使得几个容纳构件(40)构成一个用来容纳突起(20)的凹槽(30)。
5.如权利要求4所述的保护部件,其特征在于,四个相邻的容纳构件(40)构成一个用来容纳突起(20)的凹槽(30)。
6.如前述权利要求中的任何一项权利要求所述的保护部件,其特征在于,上述突起(20)和/或容纳构件(40)是用基本上不可压缩的塑料材料制造的。
7.如前述权利要求中的任何一项权利要求所述的保护部件,其特征在于,从身体角度出发,上述突起(20)布置在保护部件的外侧支撑层上,而上述容纳构件(40)布置在保护部件的内侧支撑层上。
8.如前述权利要求中的任何一项权利要求所述的保护部件,其特征在于,上述第一柔性支撑层(10)与第二柔性支撑层(50)被布置成使得突起(20)基本上布置在凹槽(30)中。
9.如前述权利要求中的任何一项权利要求所述的保护部件,其特征在于,上述突起(20)被互相分开地布置在第一柔性支撑层(10)上。
10.如前述权利要求中的任何一项权利要求所述的保护部件,其特征在于,上述容纳构件(40)被互相分开地布置在第二柔性支撑层(50)上。
11.如权利要求1至9中的任何一项权利要求所述的保护部件,其特征在于,在相邻的突起(20)和/或相邻的容纳构件(40)之间布置有连接脊。
12.如前述权利要求中的任何一项权利要求所述的保护部件,其特征在于,上述第一柔性支撑层(10)和/或第二柔性支撑层(50)包括一种织物。
13.如前述权利要求中的任何一项权利要求所述的保护部件,其特征在于,上述第一柔性支撑层(10)和/或第二柔性支撑层(50)附加地包括有缓冲层(100、110、100)。
14.如权利要求13所述的保护部件,其特征在于,上述缓冲层包括多个布置在两层织物层(100)之间的塑料纤维(110),上述纤维基本上在垂直于两层织物层的平面上延伸。
15.如前述权利要求中的任何一项权利要求所述的保护部件,其特征在于,在保护部件的外表面上还附设有涂覆层(60)。
16.一种护胫,它包括至少一个如权利要求1至15中的任何一项所述的保护部件。
17.一种衣物,它包括至少一个如权利要求1至15中的任何一项所述的保护部件。
18.一种具有口袋的衣物,它包括至少一个如权利要求1至15中的任何一项所述的保护部件。
19.如权利要求17或18中的任何一项所述的衣物,其特征在于,支撑层(10、50)中的至少之一与衣物的织物结合成一个整体。
