Abstract

本发明总体上涉及电池充电装置,更具体而言,涉及用于对无绳电话中的电池充电的装置。
背景技术
在依靠电池供电的设备中,当该设备不工作时,电池被持续充电。这种持续充电与只有当电池放完电或接近放完电时再充电相比,会缩短电池寿命。
因此,期望避免对可再充电电池的连续充电,以延长其寿命。本发明提供了这一问题的一种简单的解决方案。
发明内容
一种电池充电装置包括一个可充电电池和由该电池供电的间歇式负载。一个定时器耦合到该负载,该定时器产生一个信号,表示所述负载使用的时间。

具体实施方式
图1示出一个示范性电池充电装置。负载10可以是电话听筒,它从电池12汲取电流。电池12由电池充电器14重复充电。电池充电器14在充电器控制器16的控制下工作。
在使用负载10的过程中,由于负载10从电池12汲取电流,导致使用定时器计时,从而存储指示负载10从电池12汲取电流的时间的一个值。当负载10从电池12汲取电流的时间达到一个预定值时,使用定时器18产生一个信号,使得充电器控制器16激活电池充电器14。电池充电器14工作,将电池12充满电,然后关闭。然后,充电器控制器16产生一个信号,该信号使得定时器复位器20将使用定时器18复位。
图1所示的电池充电装置在听筒中包含电池(该电池在听筒放在对应的主机上时被充电)的无绳电话中特别有用。图2为典型的无绳电话听筒单元的框图。
在图2中,听筒单元的射频组件被示为音频放大器21和收发器22。收发器22耦合到天线23,以便与配合的主机通信,如图3所示。听筒单元包含一个电池和充电器单元28、键盘27、振铃或蜂鸣器24、麦克风26、以及扬声器25。听筒还包含一个连接器29,其耦合到一个配合主机上的对应连接器30,如图3所示。
图3所示主机单元中具有包含耦合到天线33的收发器21的射频组件。当图2所示听筒放在主机上时,听筒与一个开关钩32以物理方式耦合,而连接器29将图2所示听筒单元耦合到图3所示主机的连接器30,以便对电池充电。
如果需要,图3所示的主机可以包含一个定时器,该定时器在图3中未示出,其产生一个信号,表示听筒与主机分开的时间。该定时器可以通过开关钩32激活,而开关钩32在听筒被拿起时动作。该定时器产生的值可以通过连接器29和30耦合到听筒,作为控制定时器18的信号的一个分量。

Claims (6)

1.一种电池充电装置,包括:
a)可再充电的电池;
b)由该电池供电的间歇式负载;
c)耦合到所述负载的定时器,所述定时器产生一个信号,表示所述电池驱动所述负载所经过的时间;
d)用于对所述电池充电的装置;和
e)用于根据由所述定时器产生的所述信号控制所述用于对电池充电的装置的装置。
2.如权利要求1所述的电池充电装置,其中所述负载是无绳电话听筒,所述定时器位于所述听筒中。
3.如权利要求1所述的电池充电装置,其中所述负载是无绳电话听筒,且其中所述用于对电池充电的装置位于与所述听筒对应的一个主机中。
4.如权利要求3所述的电池充电装置,其中所述定时器产生一个信号,表示所述听筒离开所述主机所经过的时间。
5.如权利要求1所述的电池充电装置,其中所述定时器产生一个信号,表示所述负载从所述电池汲取电流所经过的时间。
6.如权利要求1所述的电池充电装置,其中所述负载是无绳电话听筒,且其中所述控制所述用于对电池充电的装置的装置位于与所述听筒对应的一个主机中。
