传输系统

互相相应的无线电和/或电视信号的同时发送有时被称为同时广播。互相相应的信号可以是按照两个或多个标准(例如,PAL和DVB)的同一个频道/节目的版本,它们在这些标准之间的过渡时间间隔期间被同时发送。替换地,互相相应的信号可以是同一个频道/节目的标准清晰度(SD)和高清晰度(HD)信号。
不是每个接收机都能够接收或处理,例如重现,所有的互相相应的信号。例如,标准清晰度电视接收机通常不能接收和显示高清晰度电视节目。现代接收机被安排成准备好可提供的频道/节目的列表呈现给用户,这样,用户可选择想要的频道/节目。这样的频道/节目表的一个问题在于,它包含对于所有的互相相应的信号的项目,其中可能包括该接收机不能接收或处理的信号。用户因此在该表中发现该接收机不能接收或处理的频道/节目。
本发明的目的是提供按照前言的、没有上述的问题的传输系统。这个目的是在按照本发明的传输系统中达到的,所述传输系统的特征在于,发射机被安排成发送标识所述互相相应的信号的信息以及接收机被安排成接收所述信息,接收机包括选择器,用于根据所述信息选择至少一个互相相应的信号。这样,接收机可自动选择哪个互相相应的信号是最好地适合于包括在该列表中,这样,用户只面对每个频道/节目的单个项目。该选择也可以基于接收机的能力或基于所接收信号的质量。例如,高清晰度电视信号可以用比起与其有关的相应的标准清晰度电视信号较小的功率发送。在坏的接收条件下,高清晰度电视接收机的选择器可以选择标准清晰度电视信号。

识别两个任选项以创建对于SD和HD视频业务的同时广播情形:
SD和HD业务实际上是一个DVB业务,在单个输送流中载送两个视频分量作为单业务的两个交替的视频分量。这被称为“单业务配置任选项”
SD和HD业务是在两个不同的输送流中潜在地载送的两个分开的DVB业务(它在不同的频率上和/或具有不同的地理覆盖,例如,使用分级调制或只是为了带宽管理的原因)。这被称为“多业务配置任选项”
单业务配置任选项:
这个任选项需要SD和HD MPEG视频基本流是单业务的一部分。为了信号信息标识互相相应的SD和HD视频流,该分量在描述视频分量的类型(SD或HD)的事件的EIT(事件信息表)中可以被加上标签:分量描述符(component_descriptor)(见上述文件的表12)。相应的视频分量在用于该业务的PMT(节目映射表)中可以加上标签:流识别号描述符(stream_identifier_descriptor)(标签值与EIT中相应的标签域相匹配)。
适当的视频业务的自动选择由接收机根据EIT信令、可提供的类型(SD和/或HD)流和接收机的译码能力来操纵。
多业务配置任选项:
这里规定两个信令任选项来标识业务是仅为HD的:
1.新的业务类型(在SDT(业务描述表)中的service_descriptor中载送的,且在NIT(网络信息表)中的service_list_descriptor中任选的)。
2.在SDT中载送的链接描述符。这个替换例提供与“现有的”HD接收机的较大的兼容性,但与SD接收机的较小的后向兼容性。
多业务配置任选项要求具有实际上相同的内容(分别在SD和HD格式中)的两个业务(在同一个网络上)是可提供的(很可能以不同的复接,但具有相同的network_id)。两个业务的等价性通过使用同一个逻辑频道号(LCN,在用于这两个业务的NIT的logical_channel_descriptor中载送的)被通知。应当指出:为了接收机识别业务的等价性,重要的是这两个业务都在同一个网络上被载送(即,是与同一个network_id有关的),但二者都在同一输送流上被载送是不重要的。具有同一个LCN、不同的service_id和不同的network_id的业务被认为是区域的变例。
信令任选项1:新的业务类型:
在业务的SD和HD版本之间的差别由在SDT中载送的“service_descriptor”中的“service_type”域表示(并且如果可提供的,在载送NIT的service_list_descriptor中)。对于业务的SD版本,使用业务类型0x01(数字电视)。对于业务的HD版本,可以使用业务类型0x81(由DVB规定的用户,意思是“具有等价的SD业务的数字HD视频业务”)。这个定义允许SD接收机以完全后向兼容的方式忽略仅仅HD的业务,而HD接收机可以容易地不顾同一个业务的SD版本。然而,它确实需要HD接收机知道新的service_type。
信令任选项2:新的链接描述符:
新的类型的linkage_descriptor在SDT中被引入:“SD业务代替链路”。所使用的type_id可以是0x90(DVB用户规定的:意思是“SD代替业务链路”)或可以应用常规的DVB代码(例如,0x12)。它应当在指向等价的SD业务的用于HD业务的SDT中被载送。仅仅SD的接收机可以忽略具有这种链接的业务并使用替代的由该链接指向的SD等价业务。
接着的文本应用到信令任选项1和信令任选项2:HD接收机可以存储业务的两种版本作为在它们的业务列表中的任选项,以及在HD业务的接收质量很差的情形下选择SD业务。SD接收机可以安全地完全忽略仅仅HD的业务。
本发明的范围不限于清楚地公开的实施例。本发明被体现于每个新的特征和这些特性的每个组合中。任何参考符号不必限制权利要求的范围。单词“包括”并不排除存在不同于在权利要求中列出的、其他的单元或标准。在单元前的单字“一”的使用并不排除存在多个这样的单元。

Claims (11)
