Abstract

一种关于设计直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)升压电路时,有效降低直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路启动电压的方法,在IC内做一个驱动电压很低的振荡器,该振荡器由电池直接供电,在IC刚上电时,直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)的输出电压很低,其电路不能正常工作,用该振荡器输出的时钟(clock)信号直接驱动开关动作,并在IC内做一电压监测电路,检测直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)的输出电压,当直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)的输出电压达到其电路可以正常工作的幅度后,将开关的驱动源从振荡器切换到直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路的控制器(CONTROLLER),直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路开始正常工作。

所属技术领域
本发明涉及一种关于设计直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)升压电路时,有效降低直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路启动电压的方法。
背景技术
目前的直流-直流转换器(DC to DC),如图1所示,其工作原理就是用一个比较器将参考电压和直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)输出电压的反馈值做比较,当反馈电压高于参考电压时,比较器的输出电压屏蔽掉控制器(CONTROLLER)的输出信号;当反馈电压低于参考电压时,比较器的输出电压允许控制器(CONTROLLER)输出时钟(clock)信号,控制器(CONTROLLER)输出时钟(clock)信号驱动一个开关,当时钟(clock)信号为高时,电池对连接在开关上的电感进行充电,当时钟(clock)信号跳变为低电平时,开关关断,在电感的两端出现反电动势,该反电动势通过肖特基(schottky)二极管对电容充电,从而在电容上得到高于电池电压的一个电压信号。
在IC刚上电时,直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)的输出电压很低,不能驱动直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路自身正常工作。如果直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路自身直接用电池供电,当电池电压很低时(例如单节电池供电),直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路的比较器、振荡器、开关驱动器也不能正常工作。
发明内容
为了解决上述在电压较低时直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路不能正常工作的问题,本发明利用直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)的输出电压为整个IC(包括直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路自身)供电,同时在IC内做一个驱动电压很低的振荡器,如图2所示,该振荡器由电池直接供电,在IC刚上电时,由于直流-直流转换器(DCto DC)的输出电压很低,其电路不能正常工作,用该振荡器输出的时钟(clock)信号直接驱动开关动作,并在IC内做-电压监测电路,检测直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)的输出电压,当直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)的输出电压达到其电路可以正常工作的幅度后,将开关的驱动源从振荡器切换到直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路的控制器(CONTROLLER),直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路开始正常工作。
本发明简单有效,使用本方法降低了直流-直流转换器(DC toDC)的启动电压。

具体实施方式
在遥控玩具汽车芯片内采用本发明所述的降低直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)启动电压的方法,该芯片使用单节电池供电,芯片的内部电路用直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)的电路供电,采用本发明所述方法可以确保该芯片在刚上电时就可以正常工作,而无需等到直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)的输出电压达到其电路可以正常工作的幅度后才开始工作。

Claims (2)

1、一种关于设计直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)升压电路时,有效降低直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路启动电压的方法,其特征在于:在IC内做一个驱动电压很低的振荡器。
2、根据权利要求1所述的降低直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路启动电压的方法,其特征在于:IC刚上电时,用振荡器输出的时钟(clock)信号直接驱动开关动作,并在集成电路(IC)内做一电压监测电路,检测直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)的输出电压,当直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)的输出电压达到其电路可以正常工作的幅度后,将开关的驱动源从振荡器切换到直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路的控制器(CONTROLLER),直流-直流转换器(DC to DC)电路开始正常工作。
