Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种无线电通信设备,特别是涉及用于传输数据的整装的无线电通信设备。
背景技术
我们的在先联合王国专利申请GB-A-231546提出了由此被用于无线电通信设备的各种装置。所用的无线电通信设备包括两个部件,首先是作为要传输的数据的源的无线电通信装置,且其次是一个或多个用于与该无线电通信装置通信的天线。天线和无线电通信装置的组合在用于测试目的的实验室条件下可容易地制造,而同时天线和无线电通信装置的组合在较为不利的环境中的实施则出现了显著的实际困难。
引起特殊问题的一个环境是汽车轮胎的环境。虽然无线电通信装置可用来例如产生表明汽车轮胎内的温度或压力的无线电信号,或者提供该轮胎的使用的历史记录的信息,但汽车轮胎的环境造在实施该无线电技术的过程中出现了许多与无线电通信装置通信上的困难。特别是,以通常用于这类无线电通信装置的频率,所需的天线一般会是柔软的,且将是几十厘米长。相比之下,传感器包会是刚性的,且非常的小-通常为小于10毫米的正方形且小于5毫米厚。由于天线的尺寸,如实际情况中它必须被固定在或嵌入到轮胎的材料中。该材料在轮子载着轮胎转动时承受非常大的弯曲。这种反复的弯曲使得其难以在天线和较小的刚性包之间提供可靠的连接。
发明内容
本发明通过提供一种用于传输数据的整装的无线电通信设备来避免上面概括的问题,该设备包括一个可弹性变形片,其嵌入或位于固定一个可变形天线的表面上,一个固定到该片的一个主要表面上并由其直立的柱,该柱在其远离该片的端部设置无线电通信装置的安装件,该无线电通信装置通过天线提供用于传输的数据;以及电导体,其由该天线延伸到该柱远离该片的端部,用于连接包。
从该片的一个主要表面上直立的柱的设置在其远离片的端部提供一个安装装置,该装置消除了在使用中片可能承受的机械应变。本质上,即使施加在片上的应变被传递到柱的基底上,这种非常小的应变也将被传递到柱的远离片的端部。
在一个本发明的特定的优选实施例中,该柱和该柱整体地由一种弹性可变形材料例如一种橡胶形成。
在一个本发明的特定的优选用途中,该片粘接地固定在与该柱由其延伸到一个轮胎的内部的表面相反的该主要表面上。通过适当地选择该片的材料,该片将容易地顺应该轮胎的内表面的形状,并可利用常见的粘接技术粘接地结合到其上。在设备制造期间,在该片被固定到该轮胎上之后,或在优选实施例中,该无线电通信装置可被固定到该柱上。换句话说,一个完整的无线电通信设备包括天线和无线电通信装置,在制造期间该设备组装有片和柱,以形成一个完整的单元,该单元可通过常用的粘接技术容易地后配装到现有的轮胎上。提供完整的无线电通信设备作为一个预形成组件的能力是本发明的一个显著的实际优点,该组件可利用非熟练的劳动容易地固定在其位置。

具体实施方式
首先参见图1,图示的设备1包括一个曲折的偶级天线2,该天线模制在一个由适当的可弹性变形的材料,例如一种硅酮(或硅)橡胶制成的片3中。天线2由适当的可变形材料,例如柔软的金属编织线制成。天线的这种材料和形状的组合意味着当片3发生应变时该偶级天线能够毫无困难地变形。
柱4与片3整体形成并由与片3相同的材料制成,该柱由片3的一个主要表面向上延伸。柱的长度,由片3的该表面测量,使得该柱远离片3的端部6将基本上消除片3在使用中所承受的所有机械应变。柱4的端部6提供一个用于包的安装件,该包包括一起带有装置例如表面声波装置的传感器或其它数据源,以产生适当的用于通过天线2传输的数据。线7提供有从柱4突伸出的销钉用于连接于包。该线7被连接到天线2。
在使用中,图示的设备例如通过粘接剂固定到车辆轮胎9的内表面8上。可以理解的是,在轮胎的使用过程中,其上固定由片的区域展现出相当大的反复变形。由于片3的弹性变形的性质以及天线2的变形性质,可以容易地适应这种变形。然而,在柱4顶上安装的包消除该片所承受的应变,并因此可以容易地提供与线7的牢固的电连接。
图3、4和5示出天线2的各种建议的方案。图1中图示的曲折的布置在图3中详细的示出。在图4中,示出了一种天线形式10,该形式包括通过交替的锐角和钝角的弯曲段互连的直线部分的重复图案。在图5中,示出了线圈式天线11。为了使天线容纳在较薄片中,图5中的天线的各圈塌缩(或叠置)在彼此的顶部上。这样,形成该天线的线被绝缘并经心提供该线圈的塌缩的各圈之间的绝缘层。
参见图6,示出了本发明的另一实施例。在此情况下,片3和天线2基本上如上所述参照图1的形式。但是,柱包括杆12和蘑菇状的头部13。片3、杆12和蘑菇状的头部13形成为一个由适当的材料例如硅酮橡胶模制的整体。该装置的效果是提供一个安装区域14,无论由于其上固定着片的轮胎的变形使施加在片3上的实际形状变化如何,该安装区域都表现出非常小的应变。无线电包15包括固定到表面14上的传感器,并由线16连接到该天线。
本发明在安装轮胎的装置的环境中具有特殊的应用,同时本发明并非仅限于这类应用场合。事实上,本发明一直主要是以适应在天线区内重复应变的观点设计的。但本发明可使用在没有显著应变发生的应用场合。例如,片的柔软性质使得该装置理想地固定到平的表面或弯曲的表面上。这样,本发明在适宜的装配条件下能够预成形为一个完整的单元,该单元包括天线和无线电包,之后在通常的制造或现场条件下将包施放到其使用位置,这提供了非常显著的优点。完整的设备可以在适合于电子设备装配的良好的控制条件下有利地进行制造和测试。一旦制造和测试完成该完整的单元可以任意安排到另外的制造工厂(例如轮胎厂),以通过可以借助不熟练或半熟练的操作所实施的简单的组装技术将其固定到另一装置上。进而,片的高柔软的性质意味着可以在通常较刚性的组件不适合的环境中实施整个装配。例如,片可以形成为一腕带,以形成由人或动物戴的识别装置。片也可以提供通过简单的粘接剂或机械固定技术将整个装置安装在轴或管的外表面上的装置。

Claims (9)

1.一种用于传输数据的整装的无线电通信设备,所述设备包括载装可变形天线的可弹性变形片,固定到所述片的一个主要表面上并由其直立的柱,该柱在其远离所述片的端部设置无线电通信装置的安装件,该无线电通信装置在使用中通过天线提供用于传输的数据;以及电导体,其由所述天线延伸到所述柱的远离所述片的端部,用于连接所述无线电通信装置。
2.按照权利要求1所述的无线电通信设备,其特征在于,所述天线嵌设在所述片中。
3.按照权利要求1所述的无线电通信设备,其特征在于,所述天线安装在所述片的表面上。
4.按照前述权利要求中任一项所述的无线电通信设备,其特征在于,所述片和所述柱整体形成。
5.按照前述权利要求中任一项所述的无线电通信设备,其特征在于,所述片与所述柱由其直立的表面相对的表面具有施加在其上的粘接剂,用于将所述设备接附在工作表面上。
6.按照前述权利要求中任一项所述的无线电通信设备,其特征在于,所述天线包括曲折的偶级天线,所述天线由可变形材料形成。
7.按照前述权利要求中任一项所述的无线电通信设备,其特征在于,所述天线由柔软的金属编织线制成。
8.按照前述权利要求中任一项所述的无线电通信设备,其特征在于,所述片由硅酮橡胶制成。
9.按照前述权利要求中任一项所述的无线电通信设备,其特征在于,所述柱的长度使得所述柱远离所述片的端部基本上消除在所述片中产生的所有机械应变。
