Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种光纤排布器。更具体地说,本发明涉及一种包括多个盘的光纤排布器,在所述盘中光纤被导引、叠接和/或储存。
这类排布器是众所周知的。它们用于光纤叠接罩和光纤控制柜等中。单个盘可用于完成一项任务(如贮存多余的长度),或是可以将几个任务结合起来,如叠接和多余长度的贮存。
现在对于小型结构的光纤排布器的需求正在增加,它虽然具有小的结构,但为较大量的光纤提供高水准组织的光纤控制。
国际专利申请WO 00/58769(Tyco Electronics Reychem)[B365]披露了一种折叠式盒子,其上部和下部构成光纤盘。这种装置可以很紧凑而同时可提供容易操作的装置。用于进入这种已知盒的入口的位置取决于它在光纤系统中的使用情况。
本发明的一个目的是提供一种光纤排布器,其具有更大的光纤处理能力,而不需要大量的部件。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种光纤排布器,它在入口的位置和数目方面具有更大的灵活性。
本发明还有一个目的是提供一种光纤排布器,它既通用又经济。
根据本发明,这些和其它一些目的可以通过一种光纤排布器来实现,该光纤排布器包括底盘和主盘,它们被铰接起来,以提供一打开位置和一关闭位置,在打开位置容易进入所述盘中,在关闭位置底盘至少部分被主盘盖住,底盘包括用于让进出排布器的光纤通过的至少一个端口,还包括用于在盘中导引光纤的导引装置,主盘具有背离底盘的第一面和朝向底盘的第二面,第一面和第二面都有用于导引光纤的导引装置。
通过提供一个设有至少一个排布器入口的底盘,只需改变底盘的设计就能改变所述入口或多个入口的数目和/或位置。因此,可以由为具体应用的专门选择或设计的“万能”主盘和底盘形成一个排布器。这样,具有很高程度的灵活性。
通过使主盘的两面都具有用于导引光纤的导引装置可获得很大的光纤处理能力。在这样一个双面盘中,一面例如可用来储存光纤的多余长度,而另一面用于叠接。当然也可以把两面都用于贮存多余长度和/或叠接。但是,让每一面具有一项用途能获得较高程度的组织。
上述用于光纤导引的导引装置可由槽和/或直立脊构成,它们可以是直线或具有与最小光纤弯曲半径相等或更大的曲率半径。
虽然主盘可以设有一些用于进入整个排布器的端口,但优选地只把这些端口设于底盘上。这样就可以让底盘只接收和导引进来的光纤,并传递和导引出去的光纤,而可以把例如叠接和贮存等实际的光纤控制任务交给主盘去完成。底盘可以包括用于缆线端接装置等有利于接收进入光纤的装置(例如缆线夹,强力元件夹,中断装置)。
如上所述,底盘中接收的光纤被传递到主盘并最终回到底盘。为便于控制和保护光纤,所述排布器优选地设有至少一个用于把光纤从底盘导引到主盘的光纤导引件,以及相反设置。有利地,所述至少一个光纤导引件设于底盘上,这样可以腾出主盘表面,用于进行叠接、贮存等核心任务。
在另一种优选实施例中,所述至少一个光纤导引件设计成将光纤从底盘的主面导引出,到达主盘的主面。由于主盘的主面与底盘的主面是相隔开的,结果给光纤和排布器的元件提供了一个空间,所以将光纤导引出去意味着要对光纤导引件的三维设计。
最好至少有两个光纤导引件分别伸至主盘的第一面和第二面。就是说,导引件可以从底盘的主面延伸不同的距离。可以知道,这个合适的距离将由排布器处于关闭位置时两盘的相对位置确定。但优选让导引件在联接两盘的铰接机构附近终止,以尽可能减少铰接对光纤的影响。
最好让至少一个导引件从底盘内伸出。可以知道,一个盘设有直立的外周壁,而至少一个光纤导引件从这些外壁所确定的区域伸出。但是,也可以让至少一个导引件从底盘外伸出。在这种实施装置中,这个“外”光纤导引件入口构成排布器的一个额外的端口
在一种优选实施例中,主盘设有一个贯通口,它在第一和第二面之间提供一个通道。这样光纤可以很容易地从例如主盘的贮存面导引到叠接面,而不必通过底盘来导引光纤。
最好让贯通口对盘的一面敞开以提供侧面入口,这可使得不切断的光纤通过这个贯通口。
为有助于光纤在两个盘之间导引(特别是当排布器铰接打开时),优选在主盘上设置至少一个导引舌形件,它基本上是在主盘平面内延伸至铰接轴以外。优选地让导引舌形件设在靠近至少一个光纤导引件的一端处。
在一个优选实施例中,主盘的一个面设有用来保持光纤接头的保持装置,所述面最好是第二面。在一个实施例中,第一面最好用来贮存多余的长度。为提供贮存设备,优选地至少主盘的一个面设置支柱,光纤可缠绕在该支柱上,所述支柱的曲率半径至少等于光纤的最小弯曲半径。所述支柱可由直立壁或盘的突起部分构成。为使光纤卷成环形,可以用呈X形布置的槽与支柱相交。
为容易打开排布器以更换底盘等,本发明的排布器优选设有可拆卸的铰接装置。
在这类排布器的表面上可能有一些间隔。其中一些可用来光纤控制,例如处于主盘两面之间的贯通口。设置另一些间隔可以是由于技术上的原因,例如为了便于模制所述盘。在两种场合下,光纤导引表面的断开可能会在使光纤馈送通过过排布器时造成障碍,即光纤可能在表面的错误一面继续伸至间隔之外。根据本发明的另一方面,盘表面内至少有一个间隔之前是一个斜坡(沿着光纤的馈送方向)。这种斜坡可以由位于间隔边缘附近的一个隆起或凸起形成。斜坡的长度、形状及高度应选择成不影响光纤的最小弯曲半径。
本发明还提供一套形成上面所述的排布器的成套零件。
下面将参照附图中示出的实施例对本发明进行更详细的说明,附图中:
图1以透视图示出处于打开位置的按照本发明的排布器第一实施例;

仅以非限定方式在图1中示出的排布器1包括底盘2和主盘3。两个盘都设有用于光纤的直立壁6。两个盘用可释放的铰链9铰接起来。排布器1设有入口5,入口5是通过在底盘2的侧壁中开口构成的。在底盘2的反(下)面还可以设有一些入口(未示出)。
光纤导引件10用来把光纤从底盘2导引至主盘3。从图1可看出,光纤导引件10由底盘2的直立壁6和表面的多个部分组成。由于主盘3的表面与底盘2的表面相隔开,而且处于排布器的关闭位置,如图2所示,光纤导引件背离底盘2的表面向上倾钭,从而确定了用于光纤的光滑轨道。从主盘3伸至铰链轴(在9处)之外的舌形件16用来进一步把光纤导引向主盘的端口8。应注意端口8处在排布器的内部,这与入口5不同。
主盘3的(第二)面12设有光纤叠接保持器17(其中可容纳光纤接头)和支柱18(其周围可缠绕多余长度的光纤)。这使得主盘3的面12可同时用来叠接和贮存多余长度。支柱18内的X形槽19用于容纳光纤环路。开在主盘3的一个边缘的贯穿端口15用来让光纤从图1中所示的(第二)面12通到图2所示的(第一)面。这个贯穿端口可15允许光纤从侧面进入,因而可容纳未切断的光纤。
图1所示的端口5基本上是在两个相反的方向面对着,因而可以接收从这些方向来的光纤以及让光纤进入这些方向。在图3所示的另一个可选实施例中,沿着底盘2的一侧设有八个朝前的端口5,而在底盘的该侧还设有一些额外的端口5′。常规端口5设有缆线端接装置13,缆线端接装置最好采用英国专利申请0106231.4(TycoElectronics Raychem)中公开的缆线端接装置。弯曲控制装置7处在这些端口的后面。
额外的端口5′直接通向光纤导引件10,并“绕过”底盘2的主要区域。该实施例特别适于通过额外的端口5′接收光纤缆线,让它们直接通到主盘3。在主盘3中,这些缆线被叠接到所谓的引入缆线,引入缆线通过底盘2馈送至常规端口5。图4所示的主盘3的上或第一表面11用于多余长度的贮存。由于具有X形的图形19,因而可容纳不切断的光纤缆线环路。
图5中以侧视图和局部剖面图示出图1的底盘2。从图5可清楚看出,光纤导引件10从底盘2往上升高,并分别达到相应于主盘3的第一面11和第二面12的平台的不同高度。
底盘2内的间隔21做成设有小的斜坡20,小的斜坡用于导引通过导引件输送的光纤。这些斜坡20防止光纤22进入间隔以及偏离其预定的轨道。这明显有利于通过排布器馈送送光纤。如图5所示,为了有利于使光纤在一个特定的方向(用箭头表示)馈送,可以只在间隔的一个边缘处设置斜坡20。但是,也可以在间隔的两侧设置斜坡。
当然,不仅光纤导引件10或底盘2可以有斜坡20,而且主盘3内也可以有斜坡,特别是在贯穿端口15的附近。
本领域技术人员将会明白,本发明不仅限于所示的一些实施例,在不脱离所附权利要求书限定的本发明范围的情况下可以做出很多增补和改进。
Claims (16)
1.一种光纤排布器(1),包括底盘(2)和主盘(3),所述盘被铰接起来,以提供一开启位置和一关闭位置,在开启位置易于进入所述盘,在关闭位置所述底盘(2)至少部分地被所述主盘(3)盖住,底盘(2)包括至少一个用来使进出排布器(1)和导引装置(6)的光纤通过的端口(5),以及用来在盘内导引光纤的导引装置(6),主盘(3)具有背离底盘(2)的第一面(11)和面对着底盘(2)的第二面(12),第一面(11)和第二面(12)都具有用于导引光纤的导引装置(6)。
2.如权利要求1所述的排布器,其中底盘(2)设有至少一个光纤导引件(10),用来将光纤从底盘(2)导引向主盘(3)。
3.如权利要求2所述的排布器,其中至少二个光纤导引件(10)分别延伸到主盘(3)的第一面(11)和第二面(12)。
4.如权利要求2或3所述的排布器,其中至少一个所述光纤导引件(10)从底盘(2)内侧伸出。
5.权利要求2、3或4所述的排布器,其中至少一个所述光纤导引件(10)从底盘(2)外侧伸出。
6.如上述任一项权利要求所述的排布器,其中主盘(3)设有贯穿口(15),用于在所述第一面(11)和第二面(12)之间提供通道。
7.如权利要求6所述的排布器,其中贯穿口(15)向着主盘(3)的一侧敞开,以提供侧面入口。
8.如上述任一项权利要求所述的排布器,其中主盘(3)设有至少一个光纤导引舌形件(16),其中所述舌形件基本上在主盘(3)的平面内延伸到铰链轴以外。
9.如权利要求8所述的排布器,其中所述导引舌形件(16)处在所述至少一个光纤导引件(10)的一端附近。
10.如上述任一项权利要求所述的排布器,其中主盘(3)的一面设有用来保持光纤接头的保持装置(17),所述面最好是第二面(12)。
11.如上述任一项权利要求所述的排布器,其中主盘(3)的至少一面设有支柱(18),围绕支柱可以缠绕光纤,该支柱的曲率半径至少等于光纤的最小弯曲半径。
12.如权利要求11所述的排布器,其中支柱(18)与呈X形排列的槽(19)相交。
13.如上述任一项权利要求所述的排布器,设有可拆卸的铰接装置(9)。
14.如上述任一项权利要求所述的排布器,其中所述至少一个端口(5)设有弯曲控制装置(7),其曲率半径至少等于光纤的最小弯曲半径。
15.如上述任一项权利要求所述的排布器,其中在盘面上的至少一个间隔前面设有沿光纤馈送方向的斜坡(20)。
16.用于形成如上述任一项权利要求所述的排布器(1)的成套零部件。
