Description

放映节目的方法和设备
本发明涉及放映所选节目的方法和设备。
这样的方法和设备是众所周知的。例如，已知的电视接收机和机顶盒可以放映从多个可以接收的节目中选出的节目。对此，已知的设备对内容的数据，亦即构成所选节目的视频和音频信息进行接收和解码。还已知对与不久的将来将发送的节目有关的节目数据进行接收和解码。例如，接收电子节目指南(EPG)信息并存储在接收机上。收到请求时，把EPG放映给用户。一般说来，这样的EPG表示节目标题清单和时钟时间，指示这些节目何时和通过哪个频道发送。
还知道在广播节目之前、之中和之后广播诸如广告等消息。这些广告往往是由所广播的节目的赞助商提供的。已知方法和设备的缺点是，与该节目有关的消息，例如广告等往往到不了观众那里，例如，因为观众在节目的中途开始观看的。因而，“广告曝光时间”并不是最优的。
本发明的一个目的是提供开篇中定义的类型的增加广告曝光时间的方法和安排。为此目的，按照本发明的方法具有以下特征：它包括接收和存储与所选节目有关的附加数据的步骤、接收构成所选节目的内容数据的步骤、产生包括所述附加数据和所述内容数据的放映时间表的步骤，和按照所述放映时间表放映所选节目和附加数据的步骤。
这样，消息或广告是分开传送和存储的。这样的消息可以与特定的节目或特定的节目类别等相关。当用户选择节目时，用这样的方法安排消息或广告的放映，使得其曝光时间最优。例如，消息可以在放映实际的节目之前放映，即使所选节目已经进行一段时间。另外或作为替换，例如，中断节目或在节目结束之后，把这些消息放映多次。另外，可以用类似方法在所选节目之前、之后或进行中放映多个不同的消息。
最佳实施例应用于广为应用的数字视频广播(DVB)标准。这个实施例具有以下特征：广播流是遵循数字视频广播(DVB)规格的流。然后连同DVB服务信息(SI)一起发送EPG数据和有关的其他节目。
本发明尤其是适合于电视接收机和机顶盒。
通过非限制性实例并参照附图，本发明的这些和其他方面将得到阐述，使其显而易见，附图中，
图1表示作为按照本发明的设备的实施例的电视接收机的简图；而
图2表示按照本发明的方法的实施例的流程图。
图1表示作为按照本发明的设备的实施例的数字电视接收机的方框图。或者从天线或者从有线电视网络接收调制在射频(RF)信号上的数字广播流。可以对广播流进行格式化，例如，按照数字视频广播(DVB)标准。调谐器2包括标准的模拟RF接收装置，后者能够接受所述RF信号和从它们之中选择一个输出到解调器3。调谐器2选择哪一个信号取决于从中央处理单元(CPU)5接收的控制数据。解调器3根据从CPU 5接收的控制信号把模拟信号转换成数字分组流。然后把这种分组流输出给多路分解器4，后者根据从CPU 5接收的控制数据选择属于一个特定节目的分组，并把分组流分解成基本视频、音频或数据流。
在本发明一个替代的实施例中，分组流从解调器3直接输出给CPU 5。在这个实施例中，CPU 5执行多路分解器4的任务，因而不需要多路分解器4。
除广播信号之外，电视机接收机还可以适合于从其他信号源接收信号，例如从(数字)录像机或DVD、从互联网或从数字用户线路接收信号。例如，节目和节目属性不必从同一信号源获得。例如，有关广播节目的属性或属性值可以从互联网的站点获得。
图像处理器8对从多路分解器4或从CPU 5接收的视频流进行解码。在本发明的最佳实施例中，图像处理器8是一个MPEG-2解码器；但是只要解码器与对视频数据进行编码用的编码类型兼容，任何解码器都可以应用。然后将解码后的视频数据传输给显示屏幕9。音频处理器6对从多路分解器4接收的音频流进行解码。同样，只要解码器与对音频数据进行编码用的编码类型兼容，任何解码器都可以使用。然后把解码后的音频数据送到扬声器系统7。
多路分解器4把基本数据流输出给CPU 5。基本数据流有两种数据类型：控制数据和内容数据。例如，内容涉及交互程序；控制涉及多路复用中的表，后者规定诸如多路复用的结构、频道调制的(RF)频率、以及可以找到所述各种内容成分和多路复用中(其他)表的地址。CPU 5包括能够执行存储在只读存储器(ROM)12中的程序指令的一个或多个微处理器。这些程序指令包括软件模块的各部分，后者除其他以外还包括命令模块13、EPG模块14和调度程序15。由所述软件模块处理的数据，例如，DVB-SI数据和用户概况信息，可以存储在非易失存储器11中。命令模块13能够控制电视机的功能，例如调谐和多路分解选择功能、以及把数据传输给图像处理器8以便放映在屏幕9上。用户命令单元10，例如，通过遥控器(未示出)接收用户命令，并将其发送到命令模块13以便处理。例如，当用户输入频道号时，命令模块13控制调谐器2和多路分解器4来选择相应的广播流和其中的数据分组，并将图形数据送到图像处理器8以便把反馈呈现在屏幕9上，例如，将预设的号码、频道名显示几秒。EPG模块14中断从多路分解器4接收的DVB-SI数据，以便收集在所接收的广播流中可用的频道(DVB术语中的“服务”)和有关为这些频道规划的节目(DVB术语中的“事件”)的信息。另外，EPG模块14能够对诸如广告等与节目有关的消息进行解码和存储。调度程序15响应用户对特定节目的选择产生放映时间表，该时间表包括所述节目和一个或多个与所选的节目有关的消息。不管节目是否从头开始看，有关的消息都在所选节目(的一部分)放映之前放映。另外，在节目结束之后，和响应用户选择另一个节目，或者把该设备关断或其他活动，都放映同样的消息。这样就可以做到把相关的消息送到用户。在传统的设备中，这样的消息往往丢失，因为用户在节目进行了一段时间时选择节目，或者在节目实际结束之前选择另一节目或活动。
调度程序15可以给同一条消息安排放映几次，例如在相关节目之前或之后。若有多条消息与一个节目相关，则调度程序15可以把它们全都安排在节目放映之前或之后，或者用其他方法将它们分散开，例如，一条消息安排在节目放映之前，而另一条消息安排在放映之后。
节目可以从EPG选择，或者就按遥控器的向上／向下键翻阅，或直接输入频道号。节目还可以从记录装置接收。在那种情况下，有关的消息可以单独存储并安排在刚好重放节目之前，或者把所产生的放映过程整个记录下来，亦即包括有关的消息。
一条消息可以与一个特定的节目或者与一组节目，例如特定类型的节目关联起来。例如，若选择体育节目，可以在放映体育节目开始时安排与体育有关的消息。
图2表示按照本发明的方法的实施例的流程图。在给设备通电、选择内定的节目的开始步骤200之后，在步骤201放映所选节目。在步骤202检查是否发生了节目选择事件。若否，则继续放映所选节目，否则在步骤203检查与新选节目有关的消息是否存在，例如存储在存储器中。若是如此，则在步骤201放映新选节目之前在步骤204显示这条消息。否则，在步骤205检查与新选节目的分类或类型有关的消息是否存在。若存在，则在步骤201放映新选的节目之前在步骤206显示这条消息。
在一个替代的实施例中，与所选的节目类型有关的消息或尤其与所选节目相关的消息都在放映所选节目之前，也可以之后或过程中放映。
总而言之，本发明涉及放映所选节目的方法和设备。该方法包括接收和存储与所选节目有关的附加数据、诸如与所选节目有关的消息或广告的步骤。该方法还包括接收构成所选节目的内容数据、亦即音频和视频信息的步骤和产生包括所述附加数据和所述内容数据的放映时间表的步骤。然后按照所述放映时间表放映所选节目和附加数据。即使用户在一个节目已经放映了一段时间时选择该节目，也放映附加数据，例如，在放映开始时和／或结束时。这样便保证了把附加消息送到用户。
尽管已经参照特定的示范性实施例对本发明作了描述，但是，在本发明概念的范围内可以有变化和修改。“包括”一词并不排除存在权利要求书中所列出的以外的其他元件或步骤。

Claims (11)

1．一种放映所选节目的方法，它包括接收和存储与所选节目有关的附加数据的步骤、接收构成所选节目的内容数据的步骤、产生包括所述附加数据和所述内容数据的放映时间表的步骤，和按照所述放映时间表放映所选节目和附加数据的步骤。
2．权利要求1的方法，其特征在于：所述附加数据包括广告数据。
3．权利要求1或2的方法，其特征在于：所述内容数据包括音频和／或视频数据。
4．权利要求1至3中任何一个的方法，其特征在于：所述附加至少安排在所选节目开始之时。
5．权利要求1至4中任何一个的方法，其特征在于：所述附加至少安排在所选节目结束之时。
6．一种放映所选节目的设备，它包括接收与所选节目有关的附加数据的接收装置、接收构成所选节目的内容数据的另外的接收装置、产生包括所述附加数据和所述内容数据的放映时间表的调度装置、和按照所述放映时间表放映所选节目和附加数据的放映装置。
7．权利要求6的设备，其特征在于：所述附加数据包括广告数据。
8．权利要求6或7的设备，其特征在于：所述内容数据包括音频和／或视频数据。
9．权利要求6至8中任何一个的设备，其特征在于：所述附加至少安排在所选节目开始时。
10．权利要求6至9中任何一个的设备，其特征在于：所述附加至少安排在所选节目结束时。
11．像权利要求6至10中任何一个的设备那样的电视接收机。
