本发明一般涉及改进的铁路车辆转向架,特别地,但并非限于所示和所描述的特定用途,该发明涉及具有冠状导框口顶的转向架侧架。
人们知道,铁路转向架是带有轮子的结构,它们支撑车体的重量并在铁路轨道上行驶。如传统那样,两个转向架使用在车体的下面并位于车体的每一端。用于货运的通常类型的铁道车转向架是三件转向架,包括两个平行的侧架和一个横跨侧架的转向架承梁。典型地,承梁在每一端伸入由各侧架限定的承梁孔并由各侧架支撑。各侧架和转向架承梁支撑在至少两个纵向间隔开的轮组上,每一轮组包括横向间隔开的轮子,各轮由其轴端安装在相应轴承适配器中的一横向延伸的轴连接。
横向间隔开的侧架通常是铸件并包括一承梁孔,一细长的下部受拉杆件(tension member),一细长的顶部抗压构件(compression member),顶部抗压构件在各端限定纵向间隔开的向下敞开的各导框腭。各腭适于装放旋转地配装各轴的颈部的轴承适配器。这样,各轮组和侧架通过轴承适配器安装在一起。
导框腭还限定一导框口顶和一向下延伸的托架。导框口顶典型地限定一腔室以容纳一硬化钢制成的皇冠形状的垫块,所示冠状垫块插入在腔室中,冠状表面从导框口顶向外伸出。两个间隔件或垫片位于冠状垫块的侧面和腔室形成的壁部之间。这些间隔件消除了冠状垫块侧壁和导框腭腔之间的间隙,以使得垫块件在腔室内紧贴安装。两个定位器焊接就位以将垫块件固定在腔室中。有利的是,在使用中,冠状垫块件允许侧架围绕侧架的纵向轴线相对于轴转动或摆动。此外,该冠状垫块件减少导框口顶中的磨损。所述冠状垫块在磨损后可通过去除各定位器并再焊上一个新的冠状垫块件而得以更换。
然而,为了形成冠状导框口顶以允许侧臂的摆动,要使用为数众多的部件:垫块件,两个间隔件,以及两个定位器。此外,去除焊接的摇臂座需要很多的维护,且更换冠状垫块以及/或者定位器可能是很费钱的。
因此,本发明的一个目的是取消构成冠状导框口顶的各独立部件。本发明另一目的是减少导框口顶中的磨损并仍允许侧架的摆动。本发明再一目的是减少传统冠状导框口顶的费用和维护。又一目的是铸造一与导框口顶成一体的冠。本发明另一目的是使用一硬化卡扣衬片以减少导框口顶上的磨损。
概括起来,简言之,本发明提供了一种铁路转向架总成,包括至少两个纵向间隔开的横向延伸的轴,车轮安装在各轴上。一对横向间隔开的纵向延伸的侧架安装到所述各轴上,且一横向延伸的承梁安装到所述侧架上。横向间隔开的纵向延伸的侧架限定一导框口、一托架以及一冠状导框口顶。一衬片可拆地安装到冠状导框口顶衬片也成型为冠状并卡扣到导框口顶上。在操作中,冠状导框口顶和衬片减少导框口顶上的磨损并允许横向间隔开的纵向延伸的侧架的摆动。重要的是,整体冠状导框口顶和衬片消除了传统的垫块件、垫片和焊接定位器,从而减少了传统侧架的维护和费用。

在附图中,相同的标号贯穿各附图标示相同的结构。
业内人士应当理解,各附图仅示出一铁路转向架的局部,铁路转向架包括一对横向间隔开的、支撑在车轮和轴总成上的侧架,以及连接在各侧架之间、用于支撑车体的承梁。参见图1,其示出了包括本发明特征的侧架8的端部。侧架在其每一端包括一个向下延伸的导框腭(pedestal jaw)10以及一整体托架12。导框腭10与托架12一起限定容放轴的导框孔14,铁路车车轮的轴承适配器(bearing adapter)装放其中。
业内人士还应当理解,一车轮轴承装载在轴的端部附近,且一铁路车轴承适配器设置在轴承外侧和导框孔14之间。用于固定铁路车轴承适配器的轴承适配器推力突耳16和18以及一导框口顶(pedestal jaw roof)20位于导框孔14中。轴承适配器在其侧部由推力突耳16、18固持,而导框口顶20位于轴承适配器上方。导框口顶通常限定一凹腔或摇臂座,用于配装通常借助于焊接定位器保持就位的一冠状垫块件,垫片或间隔件通常用在垫块件和凹腔各壁之间以提供一更好的装配。冠状垫块件具有一凸起形状,向下伸入到导框孔中并抵接轴承适配器的顶部。垫块件的凸起或冠状形状允许侧架围绕侧架的纵向轴线相对于轴摆动或摇动。典型地,当垫块件业已磨损而失去其冠状轮廓时,通过取下焊接定位器并安装一新的垫块件和所需的垫片来更换垫块件和相关的垫片。新的垫块件通过重焊定位器而得以再次定位。这一过程对每一磨损垫块件而言是需要的。翻新改进新垫块件的维护和成本略势是明显的且无需进一步解释。
如图1、2和5所示,本发明的导框口顶20限定了一个整体的冠状摇臂座22。摇臂座22在其横剖面上是凸形的或U形的,并向下伸入导框孔14。冠状摇臂座22取代垫块件、垫片和焊接定位器,从而消减了更换它们所需的成本和翻新改进时间。参见图2和4,摇臂座22横跨侧架8的宽度横向呈冠状,冠的顶点24向下伸入导框孔,伸入距离与传统冠状垫块件相同。
在示于5、6和7中的优选实施例中,衬片28可拆地安装到冠状摇臂座22上,以覆盖和保护摇臂座。衬片28与引作参考的美国专利No.4203371中公开的摩擦片相类似。并成型和构作成与摇臂座22的冠状轮廓相匹配。较薄且由硬化钢制成的衬片28不仅耐磨而且沿着衬片的纵向中心可挠曲。这一挠性或弹性使得衬片28可迅速卡装到冠状摇22上以便于组装。衬片28还限定S形各端部30,各端部适于朝向彼此向内弹性地夹靠于导框口顶20的对置侧面,亦即各S形端部允许衬片卡装到导框口顶上。S形各端部还在衬片被卡扣到摇臂座22上而搭在侧架8上的靠近摇臂座22的脊或唇上时用作定位器。S形各端部对于侧架的夹靠作用用于使摩擦片相对于侧架的侧向到侧向运动最小化。在使用中,硬化衬片28阻止摇臂座22上的磨损并可通过简单地使已磨损衬片解除搭扣并用一新的衬片替换已磨损衬片而易于更换。
上面对本发明优选实施例进行了描述,以使业内人士能够制造和使用,在不背离本发明范围的情况下可对优选实施例作出各种变更。

Claims (15)

1.一种有轨车转向架总成,包括至少两个纵向间隔开的、横向延伸的轴,安装于所述各轴的轴承适配器,安装于所述轴承适配器的横向间隔开的、纵向延伸的侧架,一安装于所述侧架的横向延伸的承梁,所述横向间隔开的、纵向延伸的侧架限定一导框腭,一托架以及一冠状导框口顶,一衬片可拆地安装于冠状导框口顶,从而所述冠状导框口顶和衬片减少导框口顶上的磨损并允许所述横向间隔开的、纵向延伸的侧架的摆动。
2.如权利要求1所述的有轨车转向架总成,其中,所述衬片的形状与所述导框口顶的形状相匹配。
3.如权利要求1所述的有轨车转向架总成,其中,所述衬片由硬化钢制成。
4.一种有轨车转向架,具有至少两个纵向间隔开的、横向延伸的轴,安装于所述轴的轴承适配器,安装于所述轴承适配器的横向间隔开的、纵向延伸的侧架,一安装于所述侧架的横向延伸的承梁,所述铁路转向架包括:
一限定一整体摇臂座的导框口顶;以及
一可拆地安装于所述整体摇臂座的衬片,
从而所述整体摇臂座和衬片减少导框口顶上的磨损并允许所述横向间隔开的、纵向延伸的侧架的摆动。
5.如权利要求4所述的有轨车转向架,其中,所述整体摇臂座是冠状的。
6.如权利要求4所述的有轨车转向架,其中,所述整体摇臂座是凸形的。
7.如权利要求4所述的有轨车转向架,其中,衬片的形状与所述整体摇臂座的形状相匹配。
8.如权利要求4所述的有轨车转向架,其中,所述衬片由硬化钢制成。
9.如权利要求4所述的有轨车转向架,其中,所述衬片卡装到所述整体摇臂座上。
10.一种有轨车转向架侧架,具有一细长的下部受拉杆件,一细长的顶部抗压构件以及一导框腭,包括:
一限定一整体冠状摇臂座的导框口顶;以及
一可拆地安装于所述整体冠状摇臂座的衬片,
从而所述整体冠状摇臂座和衬片减少导框口顶上的磨损并允许所述侧架的摆动。
11.如权利要求10所述的有轨车转向架侧架,其中,所述衬片卡装到所述整体冠状摇臂座上。
12.如权利要求10所述的有轨车转向架侧架,其中,所述整体冠状摇臂座呈U形。
13.如权利要求10所述的有轨车转向架侧架,其中,所述整体冠状摇臂座横向跨过所述导框口顶。
14.如权利要求10所述的有轨车转向架侧架,其中,衬片的形状与所述整体冠状摇臂座的形状相匹配。
15.如权利要求10所述的有轨车转向架侧架,其中,所述衬片由硬化钢制成。
