Abstract

Description
本发明一般地涉及电子白板领域,更详细地说,涉及带有页宽阵列或板宽阵列喷墨打印头机构的干擦除电子白板。
交互讨论用的带有可擦除标记的白板广泛用于商业和教育环境。还有各种各样可用的电子白板和黑板,它们可以捕获板上的图像,并将该图像传输到复印机上。但是,若能用电子学方法将信息重新显示在白板上,那将是很有价值的。例如,若一个会议、讨论会或课堂暂停,稍后又继续,则让以前白板上的信息重新显示在板上,以便继续会议和讨论是很有价值的。或者,若会议必须移到另一个房间并重新召集,则在新的会议室自动地把白板上的信息重新拷贝回白板上将是很有利的。还希望白板能够用电子学方法把图表、曲线图、扫描信息或其它以电子学方法储存的信息显示在白板上以供讨论。最好有一种解决方法能够适合于任何白板。把信息用电子学方法显示在一个大而平的计算机屏幕上,然后储存、发送或处理该数据是可能的。但是,这是一个昂贵而无法广为应用的解决方案。
本发明的上述的和其它方面在一个带有页宽阵列或板宽阵列喷墨打印头机构的干擦除电子白板上得以完成。具体地说,公开了一种电子白板,它能够扫描白板的表面,并储存该信息,而不是将其打印在纸上。以后,电子白板利用页宽阵列或板宽阵列喷墨打印头机构、使用干擦除墨把该信息重新显示在白板上。或者,电子白板可以把信息送到另一个电子白板上,送到诸如软盘或CD(小光盘)等储存装置,以便后来由同一个或不同的电子白板检索,并且用板宽阵列喷墨打印头机构利用干擦除墨重新显示在白板上。再者,电子白板可以用电子学方法从计算机、传真、软磁盘、CD或其它已知的装置接收储存的信息,并借助于板宽阵列喷墨打印头利用干擦除墨以电子学方法把所接收的信息显示在白板上。本发明的电子白板扫描仪/喷墨打印机打印头还可以是便携式的,并能与任何标准白板配合使用。
阅读以下结合附图对本发明所作的更详尽的描述,将会更好地理解本发明上述的和其它目的、特征和优点。
图1表示按照本发明的电子白板;
图2表示按照本发明第一实施例的电子白板接收信息,并将该信息显示在该白板上的程序的流程图;而

图1举例说明带有白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102的电子白板100。白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102可以具有通/断按钮114、图像捕获或扫描启动按钮116、喷墨打印机启动按钮118、至少一个数据输入端口112和至少一个数据输出端口110。白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102可以夹在白板100的顶部和/或底部边沿120和122上,并具有多个在图像捕获和图像打印过程中沿着白板100的顶部和底部边沿120和122滚动的电动滚轮。白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102可以具有视觉传感器或跟踪系统124和126,用来确定何时白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102接近白板100的任何一端。白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102的图像捕获部分可以包括任何已知的图像捕获装置,诸如,例如是一种白板宽阵列的电荷耦合器件(CCD)阵列。显然,它不必是白板宽阵列的,但这是完成该功能的图像捕获部分的最有效方法。电源可以是板上电源,诸如电池或交流电源。
喷墨打印机构使用喷墨盒,往往称作把这里一般称作“墨”的彩色液滴喷射在页面上、文件上或其它打印表面上的笔。每一只笔都有一个由非常小的射出墨滴的喷嘴形成的打印头。为了打印图像,驱动打印头横跨页面或表面来回运动,在它运动时按照要求的图案射出墨滴。打印头内特定的喷墨机构可以采取本专业技术人员已知的各种各样的形式,诸如利用压电工艺或热打印头工艺的形式。例如,在美国专利No.5,278,584和4,683,481中已知两种较早期的热喷墨机构,这两个专利都转让给本受让人,Hewlett-Packard Company,并被包括在本文中作为参考。
在热喷墨系统中,含有墨通道和蒸发腔的阻挡层位于喷嘴孔板和基片层之间。这种基片层一般都含有诸如电阻等加热元件的线性阵列,该电阻通电,以加热蒸发腔内的墨汁。加热时,与通电的电阻相关的喷嘴喷出小墨滴。在打印头横跨页面运动时,通过选择性地给电阻通电,墨汁便以一种图案被射在打印介质上,以形成要求的图像(例如,图形、图表或正文)。页宽阵列打印机包括形成带有横跨整个页面宽度的数千个喷嘴的打印头的打印元件。在本发明中,打印元件最好具有形成带有横跨白板100整个高度的预定数目喷嘴的打印头的白板宽阵列。
白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头102沿着邻近打印头的介质通路移动,以接收字符或图形标志。一般白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头102从静止加速到恒定的速度。为了优化打印速度,随着白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头102速度的变化而控制喷嘴的定时。以相对于板宽阵列打印元件固定的方式设置的传感器检测白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头102的实际速度。实际速度被反馈回打印头控制器,后者把实际速度与额定的恒定速度加以比较。若实际速度慢于额定速度,则调整喷嘴的定时,使之慢于额定定时。若实际速度快于额定速度,则调整喷嘴的定时,使之快于额定定时。David E.Hacklemand的转让给本受让人Hewlett-Packet Company的题为“按照介质速度控制页宽阵列(PWA)墨汁喷嘴”的美国专利No.5,719,602中教导了喷嘴定时与速度的关系的概念。
在第一实施例中,正如图2流程图的单元202所示,该操作可以包括白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102从白板100一侧移动到另一例,而同时白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102扫描或捕获白板100上的图像108。接着,在204,把所捕获的数据或者储存在缓冲区、RAM(随机读写存储器)中,或者储存在其它形式的板上存储器中,送到软磁盘,送到计算机或不然就送到存储器。在206处,当会议继续时,同一或不同的白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102可以从存储器检索数据。一旦从存储器检索数据,白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102便可以利用喷嘴元件的白板宽阵列以干擦除墨把数据重新显示在白板100上。
本发明的另一个实施例,如图3流程图所示,可以包括在302处白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102通过串行或平行电缆、红外通信、无线电通信、远程通信、modem(调制解调器)、Internet(国际互联网)、软磁盘、CD或其它已知的数据传送装置从计算机接收电子数据。接着,白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102可以如304处所示,利用喷墨元件的白板宽阵列以干擦除墨把接收到的数据显示在白板100上。
另外,本发明可以是一种交互图像捕获和喷墨打印头装置,它可以通过modem、电话、传真、Internet通信线路或其它电子数据通信的已知的实时装置从远方位置实时地接收输入数据。在这样一种系统中,图像捕获装置可以能够把白板100上数据108的各种版本或修改保存起来,以便将来查阅,和/或对于远处的会议参加者,有可能对100上的数据108进行处理或添加。
已经提供了以上的对本发明的描述,目的在于举例说明和描述。并非意在穷举或把本发明限制在所公开的精确形式上,而根据以上的教导可以作出其它的修改和变化。例如,白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102的喷墨打印头部分不必具有喷墨元件的板宽阵列。但是,这样一种装置可能效率较低,需要长得多的时间来把图像显示在白板100上,而且需要来回多次横跨白板100,才能把一个较大的或复杂的图像显示在白板100上。另外,本发明的白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102或者可以是便携式的,能够安装在任何白板100的顶部和/或底部边沿120和122上,或者它可以永久地安装在白板100上。此外,白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置102的功能可以由计算机,或红外线,或其它遥控装置进行遥控,而不是由用户手触通/断114、扫描116和拷贝118按钮。

Claims (10)
1.一种白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102),用来以电子学方法捕获白板(100)上的图像(108),并将所储存的电子图像显示在具有预定宽度的白板(100)上,所述白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102)包括:
电子图像捕获阵列;
喷墨打印头阵列;
电子数据存储器;以及
安装在所述白板(100)上、并令所述白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102)横跨所述白板(100)的宽度移动的装置(104,106)。
2.按照权利要求1的白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102),其特征在于:所述电子图像捕获装置是电荷耦合器件(CCD)阵列。
3.按照权利要求2的白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102),其特征在于:所述CCD阵列是白板宽的CCD阵列。
4.按照权利要求1的白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102),其特征在于:所述喷墨打印头阵列是喷墨喷嘴元件的白板宽阵列。
5.按照权利要求1的白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102),其特征在于:所述喷墨打印头阵列利用干擦除墨把所述储存的电子图像显示在所述白板(100)上。
6.按照权利要求4的白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102),其特征在于:所述喷墨打印头阵列利用干擦除墨把所述储存的电子图像显示在所述白板(100)上。
7.按照权利要求1的白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102),其特征在于:所述电子数据存储器是缓冲存储器。
8.按照权利要求1的白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102),其特征在于:所述电子数据存储器是RAM。
9.按照权利要求1的白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102),其特征在于:所述电子数据存储器是软磁盘。
10.按照权利要求1的白板图像捕获/喷墨打印头装置(102),其特征在于:所述电子数据存储器是光盘(CD)。
