Abstract

一种金属蜂窝体的制造方法,平板片的两面点焊若干条钎焊条,瓦楞片叠置在平板片上并点焊在距平板片一端的3~5厘米处,该端作为卷绕的起始端,由非圆形芯卷绕机卷绕成蜂窝芯,蜂窝芯置放在非圆形外套筒中,非圆形外套筒由两个半非圆形外套筒组成,非圆形外套筒置放在压缩工具中,由机械力通过压缩工具紧夹外套筒,然后焊接外套筒的对缝线,再在蜂窝体的两端将蜂窝芯与外套筒的接触处点焊连接,最后由钎焊炉钎焊。由于本发明对蜂窝芯同外套筒的配合既采用钎焊又采用点焊,保证了蜂窝芯在高温状态工作时不会与外套筒脱离,从而降低了蜂窝芯同外套筒需高度紧配的要求,简化了紧配工艺。

金属蜂窝体的制造方法
技术领域
本发明涉及用于携带净化机动车尾气触媒的金属蜂窝体的制造方法。
背景技术
现有的金属蜂窝体,如专利号为93108273.0,名称为“金属蜂窝及其制造法”的中国专利公开了一种金属蜂窝体,由平板片、瓦楞片叠合,经卷绕形成蜂窝芯,蜂窝芯外周面卷绕钎焊箔,插入外套筒,再经钎焊而成,其不足之处是:钎焊的蜂窝芯如果工作温度过高容易脱离外套筒,使蜂窝体损坏,为此,为了防止脱离,将蜂窝芯的外径做得同外套筒内径几乎相等,再把蜂窝芯强压在外套筒中或扩张外套筒口把蜂窝芯强压在外套筒中等工艺,使外套筒同蜂窝芯紧配,但这种工艺较为复杂。为此,专利申请号为02101994.0的中国专利公开了一种方法,采用点焊方法,“每卷绕瓦楞片的两个波峰后继续点焊连接平板和瓦楞片,直至边卷绕边点焊完毕形成芯部”,此法虽然改进了钎焊存在的问题,但工序较为繁烦,生产效率低。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于克服上述下足之处,而提供金属蜂窝芯同外套筒既插套方便又配合牢固的金属蜂窝体的制造方法。
本发明的目的可通过如下技术方案而达到:
一种截面为非圆形的机动车用的金属蜂窝体的制造方法,平板片的两面点焊若干条钎焊条,瓦楞片叠置在平板片上并点焊在距平板片一端的3~5厘米处,端作为卷绕的起始端,由非圆形芯卷绕机卷绕成蜂窝芯,蜂窝芯置放在非圆形外套筒中,非圆形外套筒由两个半非圆形外套筒组成,非圆形外套筒置放在压缩工具中,由机械力通过压缩工具紧夹外套筒,然后焊接外套筒的对缝线,再在蜂窝体的两端将蜂窝芯与外套筒的接触处点焊连接,最后由钎焊炉钎焊。
采用上述的金属蜂窝体制造方法时,可预先将卷在蜂窝芯最外层的瓦楞片端部的波纹幅度做成衰减成平坦状态。

具体实施方式
为制造圆形蜂窝体,如图2所示,取一块平板片2,一块瓦楞片1,其长度相当于一个蜂窝芯所需长度,平板片2的两面点焊若干条钎焊条6,条数视蜂窝芯大小而定,保证了钎焊条6在平板片2上按设定的部位分布,瓦楞片1叠放在平板片2上,其一端7点焊在距平板片2一端8的3~5厘米处,端8作为卷绕的起始端,由现有的卷绕机紧紧卷绕成圆形蜂窝芯4,蜂窝芯4的外径小于外套筒3的内径,然后插入外套筒3中,再在蜂窝体的两端将蜂窝芯4与外套筒3的接触处点焊连接,最后由钎焊炉钎焊。
如果制造非圆形蜂窝体,如跑道形、椭圆形蜂窝体,如图2所示,取一块平板片2,一块瓦楞片1,其长度相当于一个蜂窝芯所需长度,平板片2的两面点焊若干条钎焊条6,条数视蜂窝芯大小而定,保证了钎焊条6在平板片2上按设定部位分布,瓦楞片1叠放在平板片2上,其一端7点焊在距平板片2一端8的3~5厘米处,端8作为卷绕的起始端,由非圆形芯卷绕机卷绕成蜂窝芯4,非圆形芯卷绕机如图3所示有两根相距一定距离的立杆13、14,距离大小视金属芯的大小,具体形状而定,两立杆13、14绕其连线中点同时转动,立杆14轴向开槽12,平板片2的一端8插入槽12中,转动卷绕机,即同时轴动而立杆,一层复一层转成跑道形金属蜂窝芯4,再将蜂窝芯置放在跑道形外套筒3中,如图4所示,跑道形外套筒3由两个半跑道形9组成,跑道形外套筒3置放在压缩工具10中,由机械力通过压缩工具10夹紧外套筒3,然后焊接外套筒3的对接缝线11,脱掉压缩工具10,再在蜂窝体的两端面将蜂窝芯4与外套筒3的接触处点焊连接,最后由钎焊炉焊接。
由于本发明对蜂窝芯4同外套筒3的配合既采用钎焊又采用点焊,保证了蜂窝芯4在高温状态工作时不会与外套筒3脱离,从而降低了蜂窝芯4同外套筒3需高度紧配的要求,简化了紧配工艺。
如果预先将卷绕在蜂窝芯4最外层的瓦楞片1的端部5的波纹幅度做成衰减成平坦状态,则蜂窝芯4最外层的结尾处不臃肿,其外层形状同外套筒3内表面形状几乎相同,以致蜂窝芯4同外套筒3配合较紧密,两者配合会更牢固。相比之下瓦楞片1的端部5的波纹是等幅的,蜂窝芯4最外层的结尾处臃肿,使蜂窝芯同外套筒3配合不够紧密,两者配合牢度会差些。

Claims (2)

1.一种截面为非圆形的机动车用的金属蜂窝体的制造方法,其特征在于,平板片(2)的两面点焊若干条钎焊条(6),瓦楞片(1)叠置在平板片(2)上并点焊在距平板片一端(8)的3~5厘米处,端(8)作为卷绕的起始端,由非圆形芯卷绕机卷绕成蜂窝芯(4),蜂窝芯(4)置放在非圆形外套筒(3)中,非圆形外套筒(3)由两个半非圆形外套筒(9)组成,非圆形外套筒(3)置放在压缩工具(10)中,由机械力通过压缩工具(10)紧夹外套筒(3),然后焊接外套筒的对缝线(11),再在蜂窝体的两端将蜂窝芯(4)与外套筒(3)的接触处点焊连接,最后由钎焊炉钎焊。
2.根据权利要求1所述的金属蜂窝体的制造方法,其特征在于,预先将所述的卷在蜂窝芯(4)最外层的瓦楞片端部(5)的波纹幅度做成衰减成平坦状态。
