Abstract

背景技术
蜂窝接收机,常见的形式为便携式无线电话,它们的设计和操作都是为人所熟知的。这样的便携式无线电话可以用来收发电话呼叫,收发信息,甚至浏览世界范围内的如因特网之类的计算机网络。存在许多关于便携式无线电话的标准,其中包括全球移动通信系统(GSM)和通用分组无线电业务(GPRS)。
能够接收数字电视信号(例如根据陆地数字视频广播(DVB-T)标准而产生的信号)的接收机也是非常普通的。
用来接收数字视频广播(DVB-T)传输的消费型的置顶盒(STB)的使用和操作也是为人所熟知的。这些STB能够接收许多数字电视频道,数据和其他交互业务等。
发明内容
根据本发明的第一方面,提供一种移动终端,它具有:用于从第一通信网络接收加密的第一信号的第一接收机和用于从第二通信网络接收第二信号的第二接收机,所述第二信号传送与所述第一信号相关的补充信息,其中,所述补充信息包括使所述加密信号能够被解密的信息,并且所述移动终端还包括用户识别模块(SIM)后者包含与所述第二信号结合使用、以便使所述加密的第一信号能够被解密的安全数据。

图1是典型的消费型接收机/发射机装置的方框图,其中陆地数字视频广播(DVB-T)发射机150把DVB-T信号发送至DBV-T置顶盒106。
在发射机150中,多个电视频道154和156与多个数据信道158和160一起由多路复用器152进行多路复用。除此之外,服务信息(SI)162由SI发生器164提供,它包含其他每一个多路复用信道的详细信息,而且同样被输入到多路复用器152。所述多路复用器产生单一的多路复用信号166,后者包含所有单独信道154、156、158和160以及SI 162。关于多路复用和SI的详细信息可以在DVB-T说明(EN 300 468)中找到,所述说明已作为参考被包括在本文中。多路复用信号166通过天线164发送,穿过传输信道,到达置顶盒接收机106的天线102。在使用DVB-T的情况下,发送信道为陆地传输信道。但是,卫星、微波、电缆或光缆等都可以用作传输信道。

在接通置顶盒106的同时,DVB-T接收机100也被上电并接收DVB-T信号。DVB-T接收机不断地对SI信息进行解码,所述SI信息提供详细内容及接收到的多路复用信号内每一个信道的位置。SI信息还包括每一个多路复用信道的时间表细节。这些时间表细节使用户可以观看或记录感兴趣的特定节目。例如,如果置顶盒106连接到个人计算机(没有示出),就有可能利用该个人计算机接收经由DVB-T网络发送的数据。利用这样方法,就可以使用由DVB-T传输提供的高数据速率,向数量众多的观众广播传输大量数据文件。如果数据文件预定在某一时间通过某一信道发送,那么SI信息就会包含此信息,所述信息能被个人计算机所用,以便保证接收机接收到所要求的数据。
SI信息可能变化频繁,以便不但反映节目时间表的变化,而且反映广播电台对频率和信道的再分配。例如,一个信道可能按原定时间表、通过不同的频率广播。由于SI包含有频率的详细信息(或频率的变化),因此接收机总是能够接收到所需的信道和/或节目。一些置顶盒把SI信息存储在存储器中,从而允许用户浏览时间表或节目指导。但是,由于SI信息的性质,必须经常更新SI信息,保证置顶盒中存储的SI和广播电台正在发送的SI的一致性。
图2示出本发明第一实施例的方框图。移动终端200接收来自DVB-T发射机272的DVB-T传输。发送的DVB-T信号是由多路复用器250产生的多路复用信号。多路复用器250接收多个信道252,254,256和258作为输入、以便产生多路复用信号。这些信道可以是电视、音频或数据信道。包含多路复用信道的详细信息的服务信息(SI)数据同样被输入到多路复用器250。SI数据由SI发生器260产生,后者可能是包含每个信道时间表和位置的详细信息的数据库。
DVB-T信号由移动终端200的天线210接收,并由DVB-T接收机202接收和解码。
此外,还有一个优点就是所述移动终端还可以在收发信机206中接收来自蜂窝或其他发送网络274的交互式信道。所述蜂窝收发信机206允许在移动终端200和蜂窝式网络274之间收发信号。所述蜂窝式网络可以是GSM网络、通用分组无线电业务(GPRS)、第三代(3G)或其他适用的网络。
由SI发生器260产生的SI数据还提供给蜂窝式网络274的简档机262。所述简档机含有关于蜂窝式网络274的每一个用户的信息的数据库。简档机还可以包含例如人口统计数据、收入水平和体育娱乐爱好之类的信息。
下面将通过例子说明本发明第一实施例的操作。
根据先有技术,如果用户希望接收到他所喜欢的球队在足球比赛过程中每一次入球时的电视剪辑,那么DVB-T置顶盒106的DVB-T接收机100就必需保持通电状态并不断地接收SI数据。这样做是因为没有人能预先知道球到底在什么时候射入。相应地,在SI数据中也没有这次活动的时间表。因此DVB-T接收机必须等待表示什么时候广播电视剪辑的SI数据。如果用户只是对接收足球比赛的电视剪辑感兴趣,这从电源消耗来说,效率就特别低,特别是在移动终端中,由于DVB-T一边等待具体的电视剪辑广播,一边消耗电源,因此效率特别低。
根据本发明的第一实施例,如图2所示的例子一样,用户向蜂窝式网络274的简档机262登记他在接收电视剪辑方面的兴趣。然后移动终端200的DVB-T接收机202可能会断开电源。在入球的时候、且电视剪辑可用于广播的时候,广播电台必须把所述电视剪辑纳入现存DVB-T多路复用信号的时间表上。这可能涉及重定现存节目的时间表,并相应地更新SI数据。一旦确定广播所述电视剪辑在时间表上的时间,蜂窝式网络274便向蜂窝式收发信机206发出服务通告。所述服务通告由蜂窝式收发信机206接收,并由控制器204处理。所述控制器通知DVB-T接收机202电视剪辑广播的时间以及其他相关数据,例如信道位置、加密参数等。DVB-T接收机在接收电视剪辑及解码时可以接通电源并被配置以必要的部件。所述电视剪辑也可以存储在存储器208中。一旦接收到所需的电视剪辑或其他数据,DVB-T接收机202可以再次断开电源。
服务通告的形式可以是SI数据、或者是特别的短信息服务(SMS)信息,所述信息包含DVB-T接收机要求的必要的时间信息和位置信息。服务通告还可以从要求发送的数据和发送所述数据时使用的协议两方面来考虑使用其他的形式。
按照这种方法,DVB-T接收机202在实际上不需要接收数据的时候就可以断开电源。这和先有技术的系统相比,在功率消耗方面可以节省大量的功率。
简档机262还控制所需要的信息是通过DVB-T、还是通过蜂窝式网络发送给用户。例如,如果有100万人要求收看某一特定足球比赛入球时的电视剪辑,那么,最好通过DVB-T网络发送所述电视剪辑。DVB-T网络可以为如此大量的用户提供成本低效率高的发送方式。另外一种方法就是通过蜂窝式网络单独发送电视剪辑,但由于用户众多,这样会严重影响蜂窝式网络的操作。
如果请求收看某一特定电视剪辑的用户数量相对较少,那么通过蜂窝式网络单独发送会更加节省。具体的限度将根据DVB-T和蜂窝式网络的价格结构以及请求某一特定项目的用户数量和需发送的数据量而变化。
蜂窝式收发信机206还可以用来向蜂窝式网络274发送确认信息,指示所述电视剪辑是否正确接收。这可用于开帐单的目的,或者,当由于信号强度差等原因而没有接收到电视剪辑的时候要求重新发送所述电视剪辑。同样,可以通过DVB-T或蜂窝式网络重新发送所述电视剪辑,这取决于需求量和成本有效性。
本发明的另一优点是,如果时间表通告由蜂窝式网络发送,那么,这样就有可能消除DVB-T网络上的部分或全部SI数据。由于SI数据通常占据的位数多达3Mbits-1,这样多余的带宽就可以用来提供额外的数据或视频信道。
在本发明的另一实施例中,可以在移动终端200中包括简档机。这个简档机可以取代蜂窝式网络274的简档机262,或者附加其上。如果用于交互式信道的通信网络支持数据广播,例如通过GPRS网络或其他类型的分组网络,此时就可以使用移动终端中的简档机。所述简档机可以根据用户的喜好来配置,而且只接收符合用户喜好的服务通告。
图3示出本发明的又一个实施例,所述实施例利用附加的交互式信道来提高安全性。
移动终端300通过天线310接收DVB-T接收机302的DVB-T信号。所述DVB-T信号由DVB-T网络320通过天线330提供和发送。移动终端300还包括蜂窝式收发信机306,后者可以通过蜂窝式网络326发送和接收呼叫。移动终端300还包括控制器304,它可以发送或接收蜂窝式收发信机306、DVB-T接收机300或存储器308的控制信息。控制器304还可以提供DVB-T网络和蜂窝式网络326之间的通信和控制。
所述实施例使DVB-T数据可以从DVB-T网络320广播给移动终端300。此外,与广播DVB-T信号有关的数据也可以通过蜂窝式网络326发送到移动终端300。
例如,目前,当加密视频或电视频道向移动终端广播的时候,安全密钥也通过广播信道广播,以便让用户能够对编码数据进行解密。虽然安全密钥隐藏在广播信号中,但未经授权的用户也可能通过监测所述广播信号而获得对这些密钥的存取。利用本发明,安全密钥或安全数据可以通过交互式信道直接发送到每个接收者个人。这将增加了未授权用户获取所述安全密钥的困难,因为它们是通过不同的通道发送到加密视频信号上的。安全密钥可以为当前的广播信号而发送,也可以为待广播信号而发送。在又一实施例中,终端300包括用户信息模块(SIM)(未示出),所述模块可能包括使用蜂窝式网络还是使用DVB网络的授权或附加的安全数据。这些SIM包含的授权或附加的安全数据可以与安全数据结合使用,使接收到的信号能够通过广播网络授权或解密。

因此,本发明不仅有利于提高这样一种系统的功率效率,而且有利于加强安全性和有利于向多个用户广播信息和使用独立的个人的通信链路向用户发送与所述广播信息相关的具体信息。在本发明的又一个实施例中,交互式信道可以用作传输服务通告和安全数据或私人数据。
本专业的技术人员应该理解,虽然以上参考DVB-T传输来描述本发明,但是,本发明并不受此限制。同样的技术可以应用到DVB(卫星)接收和传输或其他类似或等效的标准。同样地,对蜂窝式网络和蜂窝式传输技术的引用,可以用固定线路、公共交换电话网络或其他类型的适当的通信网络来代替。
Claims (8)
1.一种移动终端,具有:用于从第一通信网络接收加密的第一信号的第一接收机和用于从第二通信网络接收第二信号的第二接收机,所述第二信号传送与所述第一信号相关的补充信息,其中,所述补充信息包括使所述加密信号能够被解密的信息;
其特征在于:
所述移动终端还包括用户识别模块,该识别模块包含与所述第二信号结合使用、以便使所述加密的第一信号能够被解密的安全数据;以及
所述移动终端设置成使所述第一接收机能够响应所述补充信息而接收所述第一信号,其中所述补充信息提供与要在第一通信网络上广播的项目有关的时间表或配置数据。
2.如权利要求1所述的移动终端,其特征在于还包括控制器,用于根据由所述补充信息提供的时间表和配置数据来配置所述第一接收机。
3.如权利要求1所述的移动终端,其特征在于还包括存储装置,用于存储用户喜好,所述移动终端设置成使得所述第一接收机依据所存储的用户喜好而启动。
4.如权利要求1所述的移动终端,其特征在于:所述加密的第一信号为数字视频广播信号,而所述第一接收机为数字视频广播接收机。
5.如权利要求1所述的移动终端,其特征在于:所述第二信号为全球移动系统信号,而所述第二接收机为全球移动系统接收机。
6.如权利要求1所述的移动终端,其特征在于:所述第二信号为通用分组无线电业务信号,而所述第二接收机为通用分组无线电业务接收机。
7.一种从第一通信网络接收加密的第一信号的方法,包括:
从第二通信网络接收第二信号,所述第二信号传送与所述第一信号相关的补充信息,所述信息使所述加密信号能够被解密;以及
与存储在用户识别模块中的安全数据结合使用所述接收信息,使所述加密的第一信号能够被解密;
其特征在于:
使接收机响应所述补充信息而接收所述第一信号,其中所述补充信息提供与要在第一通信网络上广播的项目有关的时间表或配置数据。
8.如权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于:所述补充信息包括个人数据,所述第一信号包括类属数据,所述方法包括将所述个人数据与类属数据组合起来。
