Description

Headrest cover
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a headrest cover as a cover material for a headrest.
Background
Conventionally, a headrest is manufactured by a so-called covering method in which a separately prepared headrest cover is covered with a member for covering an interior such as a stay with a polyurethane cushion. As a technology related to a headrest cover used in such a covering method, for example, patent document 1 discloses a headrest cover having a hook unit.
Specifically, one of the plurality of pieces constituting the headrest cover has a substantially rectangular shape, and hook units capable of being mutually combined and engaged are sewn around the substantially rectangular skin material. The headrest cover is covered on the polyurethane pad, and finally, the end treatment is performed by hooking the hook unit, so as to manufacture the headrest.
In the covering method, the polyurethane cushion is deformed to slightly forcibly cover the headrest cover. As a result, the end treatment of the headrest cover is mostly irreversible. For example, in patent document 1, the end treatment is performed by hooking the hooks provided in the headrest cover to each other, but since a considerable tensile force is applied to the hooks, it is difficult to remove the hooks once they are hooked.

Problems to be solved by the invention
It is required to disassemble the headrest, which is a waste, and perform a classification process appropriately. In order to disassemble and classify the headrest, the headrest cover must be peeled off from the headrest.
As described above, in the covering method, the end treatment of the headrest cover is often irreversible. Therefore, in the present situation, the headrest cover is forcibly detached from the headrest at the portion subjected to the end treatment, or a large opening is obtained by cutting the headrest cover itself with a knife, a pair of scissors, or the like, so that most of the contents are exposed.
The present invention has been made in view of such a point, and an object of the present invention is to provide a headrest cover that can facilitate a separation operation from a headrest.
Means for solving the problems
The first invention of the present invention relates to a headrest cover that covers a headrest body. The headrest cover has: a plurality of cover pieces sewn together in a bag shape and covering the headrest body; and a plurality of stitching parts stitching adjacent edges of the plurality of cover pieces to each other. One part of the plurality of the sewed parts is a weak connection sewed part with lower connection strength than other parts.
According to the first aspect of the invention, the weak-connection stitched portion is used to intentionally weaken the connection between the cover pieces, and the connection state portion between the cover pieces can be cut off by the weak-connection stitched portion. The opening can be obtained by cutting a part of the coupled state of the cover pieces, and the cover pieces can be pulled by inserting a finger or a tool into the opening to expand the opening, so that the headrest cover can be smoothly separated. Therefore, the operation of separating the headrest from the headrest can be performed more easily.
A second aspect of the present invention is the first aspect of the present invention, wherein the cover sheet further includes an opening portion between edges of the cover sheet sewn by the weak link sewn portions, the opening portion forming a through hole adjacent to the weak link sewn portions by not sewing the edges to each other.
According to the second invention, since the opening is provided in advance, the working time can be shortened accordingly. Further, the weak link stitched portion is adjacent to the opening portion, and the applied force is directly transmitted to the weak link stitched portion, so that the coupled state of the cover pieces can be cut off more easily.
A third aspect of the present invention is the first or second aspect of the present invention, wherein the weak link seam is formed continuously across two adjacent edges of the detachable cover sheet, which is one of the cover sheets.
According to the third invention, a planar opening including at least two rims can be obtained. When a planar opening is obtained, a larger opening is obtained with the opening as a trigger, or a subsequent separation operation of the headrest cover such as opening the cover piece and taking out the polyurethane cushion therein is smoothly performed. Therefore, the operation of separating the headrest can be simplified.
In the fourth aspect of the present invention, in the second aspect, the weak link seam and the opening are provided between a back cover sheet covering a back surface of the headrest body and an edge portion of a bottom cover sheet covering a bottom surface of the headrest body, among the plurality of cover sheets.
According to the fourth aspect of the invention, since the opening is provided at a position that is not noticeable, the aesthetic appearance of the headrest can be improved.
In the fifth aspect of the present invention, in the fourth aspect, the back cover sheet or the bottom cover sheet has an extension portion formed by extending a distal end so as to cover the opening from the cover inner surface side.
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, since the exposure of the headrest body (polyurethane cushion) of the content from the opening portion can be suppressed, the aesthetic appearance as a headrest can be improved.
In the sixth aspect of the present invention, in the fifth aspect, the extension portion extends from the bottom cover sheet and overlaps the back cover sheet from the cover inner surface side.
According to the sixth aspect of the present invention, the finger or tool inserted from the opening is guided to the back surface of the back cover sheet. Thus, the back cover sheet can be peeled off at one time by the weak-link seam formed at the edge of the back cover sheet adjacent to the opening.
A seventh aspect of the present invention is the first or second aspect of the present invention, wherein the weak link suture portion is sutured with a thread having a larger count than a thread used for suturing the other portion.
According to the seventh aspect of the present invention, as compared with the case where the joining strength is reduced by, for example, expanding the stitch interval, it is possible to easily realize a weak joining stitched portion having the same joining strength without variation.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 to 7 show an embodiment of the present invention. The present embodiment is an example in which the present invention is applied to the headrest cover 2, which is the skin material of the headrest 10. In fig. 1 to 5, the arrows show the directions when the headrest 10 is attached to a seat back of an automobile. In the following description, a description is made with respect to a direction based on the direction.
As shown in fig. 1, the headrest 10 has a headrest body 1 and a headrest cover 2. The headrest body 1 includes a polyurethane cushion 1a (see fig. 4) and a stay 1b. Further, the polyurethane pad 1a of the headrest body 1 may contain a built-in material such as a resin case. Here, the headrest body 1 and the headrest cover 2 correspond to "headrest body" and "headrest cover" of the present invention, respectively.
As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the headrest cover 2 is formed into a bag shape by sewing a plurality of cover pieces (a back cover piece 2a, a front cover piece 2b, a bottom cover piece 2c, and side cover pieces 2 d) to each other. The headrest cover 2 covers the headrest body 1.
As shown in fig. 2, the headrest cover 2 is subjected to end treatment on the bottom cover piece 2 c. For example, the bottom cover piece 2c is provided with a long hole through which the leg portion of the stay 1b passes, and is housed together with the distal end of the front cover piece 2b at the distal end of the long hole. Fixing members such as fastening tapes are provided at both ends, and are received in the long holes after being connected to each other to perform end treatment. It is generally difficult to restore the end processing unit 13 subjected to such end processing. Here, the back cover sheet 2a, the front cover sheet 2b, the bottom cover sheet 2c, and the side cover sheets 2d correspond to the "plurality of cover sheets" of the present invention. The back cover sheet 2a corresponds to the "cover sheet for starting to be detached" of the present invention.
The headrest cover 2 has a sewn portion by sewing adjacent edge portions of the plurality of cover pieces 2a to 2d to each other. For example, as shown in fig. 4, the upper edge 2x of the back cover sheet 2a and the upper edge 2y of the front cover sheet 2b are sewn by a thread 11 to form a sewn portion 3a.
Similarly, as shown in fig. 2 and 3, the left and right edge portions of the back cover sheet 2a and the rear edge portions of the side cover sheets 2d are sewn together to form sewn portions 3b. As shown in fig. 2, the lower edge of the back cover sheet 2a and the rear edge of the bottom cover sheet 2c are sewn together to form sewn portions 3c and 3d. The slit-shaped opening 5 is formed between the sewn portions 3c and 3d without sewing. Details of the opening 5 will be described later.
As shown in fig. 1, the left and right edges of the front mask sheet 2b and the front edges of the side mask sheets 2d are sewn together to form sewn portions 4a. As shown in fig. 2, the left and right edges of the bottom cover sheet 2c and the rear edges of the side cover sheets 2d are sewn together to form sewn portions 4b. The cover pieces 2a to 2d are connected by the plurality of stitching portions 3a to 3d, 4a, and 4b. Here, the stitched portions 3a to 3d, 4a, 4b correspond to the "multiple stitched portions" of the present invention.
The joint strength of the stitched parts 3a to 3d among the plurality of stitched parts 3a to 3d, 4a, 4b is lower than that of the stitched parts 4a, 4 b. The connection strength is a degree of force with which the sewn portions maintain the cover pieces connected to each other, and can be changed according to the number of threads, for example. The thread used for the sewn portions 4a and 4b is a normal thread used for a conventional headrest cover. As the number of the normal thread, a size is selected which will not break even when the cover piece is forcibly pulled.
On the other hand, as shown in fig. 4, a thread 11 having a different count from a normal thread is used for the sewn portion 3a where the upper edge portion 2x of the back cover sheet 2a and the upper edge portion 2y of the front cover sheet 2b are sewn. Similarly, the same thread as thread 11 is used for stitching portions 3b to 3 d.
The number of threads 11 is greater than the number of threads used for the stitching portions 4a, 4 b. As a result, the joint strength of the stitched portions 3a to 3d is lower than that of the stitched portions 4a and 4b, and the weakly joined stitched portion 3 is formed. The number of the wires 11 is preferably selected so that the headrest 10 is not broken when normally used and is broken when the cover piece is forcibly pulled. Here, the weak link suture portion 3 corresponds to the "weak link suture portion" of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the weak link seam 3 is formed continuously across the adjacent two rims of the back cover piece 2a in the headrest cover 2 attached to the headrest 10. For example, the sewn portions 3b, 3c are continuously formed across the adjacent lower edge and left edge of the back cover sheet 2 a. Further, for example, the sewn portions 3b, 3d are continuously formed across the adjacent lower edge and right edge of the back cover sheet 2 a. Further, for example, the sewn portions 3a, 3b are formed continuously across the adjacent upper edge and left and right edges of the back cover sheet 2 a. That is, the weakened-joined sewn portions 3 are continuously formed across the edges of the back mask sheet 2a except for the portions where the openings 5 are formed.
As shown in fig. 2, the headrest cover 2 has an opening 5 between edges of the cover pieces (the back cover piece 2a and the bottom cover piece 2 c) sewn by the weak-link sewn portion 3, the opening forming a through hole adjacent to the weak-link sewn portion 3 by not sewing the edges to each other.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 5, the lower edge portion 2p of the back cover sheet 2a and the rear edge portion 2q of the bottom cover sheet 2c are sewn by a line (the same as the line 11 shown in fig. 4) to form sewn portions 3c, 3d, but the sewn portion 3c and the sewn portion 3d are not sewn. As a result, as shown in fig. 2, the headrest cover 2 has a slit-shaped opening portion 5. The opening 5 is a through hole continuous from the outside of the cover to the inside of the cover (the headrest body 1). The opening 5 is preferably located at the center of the lower edge of the back cover sheet 2 a.
As shown in fig. 5, the headrest cover 2 has an extension 6 at the rear edge 2q of the bottom cover piece 2 c. For example, the extension portion 6 can be formed by making the slit portion of the bottom mask sheet 2c sufficiently large. The extension portion 6 extends so as to cover the opening 5 from the cover inner surface side. Here, the opening 5 and the extension 6 correspond to "opening" and "extension" of the present invention, respectively.
The headrest cover 2 has stitching portions 6a and 6b for stitching the left and right ends of the extension portion 6 to the back cover piece 2 a. The extension portion 6 extending from the bottom cover sheet 2c is easily overlapped with the inner surface side of the back cover sheet 2a by the sewn portions 6a, 6b. From the stitched portion 6a to the stitched portion 6b, the stitched portion 6a is continuous with the stitched portion 3d, and the stitched portion 6b is continuous with the stitched portion 3c, taking the same distance as the width of the opening portion 5. The same thread as the thread 11 shown in fig. 4 is used for the stitching portions 6a and 6b.
An example of the operation of separating the headrest cover 2 from the headrest 10 will be described. As shown in fig. 6, the operator inserts an appropriate tool 12 such as a screwdriver or a scraper into the opening 5 (may be his/her finger). Next, the operator applies a force from the headrest 10 so as to separate the back cover sheet 2a from the headrest 10. The opening 5 is located at the center of the lower edge of the back cover sheet 2a, and therefore applies a force equally to the sewn portions 3c and 3 d. Then, the thread used for the stitching portions 3c and 3d adjacent to the opening 5 breaks. At the same time, the thread used for the stitching portions 6a, 6b (see fig. 5) is also broken.
Next, the worker grasps the lower edge portion of the back mask piece 2a to apply a force. Then, the thread used for the sewn portion 3b breaks. As a result, for example, as shown in fig. 7, the back cover piece 2a is connected to only the front cover piece 2b, and the back surface side of the headrest body 1 is exposed. After that, the headrest cover 2 can be separated from the headrest 10 by simply opening the front cover piece 2b and the side cover pieces 2 d.
In addition, the separation work from the lower edge of the back cover sheet 2a by the opening 5 may not be performed in this way. For example, the back cover sheet 2a may be separated from the upper edge and the left and right edges. For example, if the back mask sheet 2a is pulled by slightly cutting the vicinity of the upper edge thereof and putting a finger therein, the thread used in the sewn portion 3a is broken in the same manner, and an opening is obtained. Further, if a force is applied by grasping the upper edge portion of the back cover sheet 2a, the thread used for the sewn portion 3b breaks, and a larger opening can be obtained. After that, the headrest cover 2 can be separated from the headrest 10 by similarly folding the front cover piece 2b and the side cover pieces 2 d.
The embodiment configured as described above has the following operational effects. The weak-connection stitched portion 3 intentionally weakens the connection between the cover pieces (the back cover piece 2a and the bottom cover piece 2 c), and thus the connection state portion between the cover pieces can be cut by the weak-connection stitched portion 3. When a part of the cover pieces is cut off in a coupled state, an opening can be obtained, and in order to expand the opening, a finger, a tool, or the like is inserted into the opening to pull the cover pieces, so that the separation operation of the headrest cover 2 is smoothly performed. Therefore, the operation of separating the headrest 10 can be performed more easily.
In addition, since the opening 5 is provided in advance, the working time can be shortened accordingly. Further, since the weak link stitched portion 3 is adjacent to the opening portion 5, the applied force is directly transmitted to the weak link stitched portions 3c and 3d, and the coupled state of the cover pieces can be cut more easily. Further, a planar opening including at least two edges of the back cover sheet 2a can be obtained. When a planar opening is obtained, a larger opening is obtained in response to the opening, or the rear cover sheet 2a is turned over to take out the polyurethane pad or the like, and the subsequent separation operation of the headrest cover 2 is smoothly performed.
In addition, since the opening 5 is provided at a position which is not noticeable, the aesthetic appearance of the headrest 10 can be improved. Further, since the headrest body 1 (polyurethane cushion 1 a) containing the contents can be suppressed from being exposed from the opening 5, the aesthetic appearance of the headrest 10 can be improved. The finger or tool inserted from the opening 5 is guided to the back surface of the back cover sheet 2a. Thus, the back cover sheet 2a can be peeled off at one time by the weak-link sewn portions 3b to 3d formed on the edge of the back cover sheet 2a adjacent to the opening 5.
Further, since the thread 11 having a large number is used, the weak-link stitched portion 3 having the same link strength without variation can be easily realized, as compared with the case where the link strength is reduced by, for example, expanding the interval between stitches.
While the specific embodiments have been described above, the present invention is not limited to these aspects and structures, and various modifications, additions, and deletions may be made without changing the gist of the present invention. For example, the following method is given.
1. In the above embodiment, an example in which the number of threads used for the suture portions 3a to 3d is made larger than the number of normal threads as the weak link suture portion 3 is described. However, the weak link seam 3 may be formed by changing the material of the thread, for example, regardless of the material. The number and material of the stitches used for the sewn portion are the same, but the weak link sewn portion 3 can be formed by changing the stitch interval. The above-described methods may be combined.
2. In the above embodiment, the case where the weak link stitched portion 3 is eliminated by breaking the thread, and as a result, the linked state of the cover piece is cut off has been described. However, in a state where the weak link stitch portion 3 remains without breaking the thread, the linking state of the cover piece may be cut by breaking the cover piece side. For example, the stitch portions 3a to 3d are formed by using normal threads, and the stitch intervals are made narrower than the stitch portions 4a and 4 b. As a result, the strength of the sewn portions 3a to 3d itself increases, while the edges of the cover piece along the sewn portions 3a to 3d become fragile by passing a large number of needles. In the case of the headrest 10 having such sewn portions 3a to 3d, when a force is applied to separate the back cover sheet 2a from the headrest 10, the back cover sheet 2a is broken along the sewn portions 3a to 3 d. The coupled state of the cover piece may be cut off in this manner.
3. In the above embodiment, the opening 5 is provided between the edge portions of the back cover piece 2a and the bottom cover piece 2 c. However, the present invention may be arranged between the edge portions of the back cover sheet 2a and the front cover sheet 2b or between the edge portions of the back cover sheet 2a and the side cover sheets 2d, regardless of the arrangement. In addition, the opening 5 itself may not be provided at all.
4. In the above embodiment, the weak link seam 3 is continuously formed across the edges of the back cover sheet 2a except for the portion where the opening 5 is formed. However, independently of this, for example, the back cover sheet 2a may be formed continuously only across both the adjacent lower edge and left edge.
5. In the above embodiment, the extension portion 6 extends from the bottom face mask sheet 2c and overlaps the back mask sheet 2a from the mask inner surface side. However, the extension portion 6 may extend from the back cover sheet 2a and overlap the bottom cover sheet 2c from the cover inner surface side, irrespective of this. In any case, the extension portion 6 and the cover sheet overlapping the extension portion 6 may not be sewn. Furthermore, the extension 6 itself may not be provided at all. Further, an extension portion may be provided from both the bottom cover sheet 2c and the back cover sheet 2a, and both ends of the extension portion may be sewn together to form a continuous passage from the opening 5 into the cover interior (headrest body 1). As a result, no stitch is formed on the back cover sheet 2a, and therefore, the headrest 10 can be more attractive than when the left and right ends of the extension portion 6 are sewn to the back cover sheet 2 a.
6. In the above embodiment, an example in which the tool 12 and the finger are inserted into the opening 5 to perform the operation of separating the headrest cover 2 has been described. However, the back cover sheet 2a may be pulled apart by applying a force, for example, a band (band-like cloth) connected to the back cover sheet 2a may be placed deep in the opening 5. The belt is hidden during normal use of the headrest 10 and is taken out of the opening 5 only during the separation operation. The operator can apply a force to pull the back cover sheet 2a away from the headrest 10 by pulling the removed strap.
7. In the above-described embodiment, the present invention is applied to the headrest cover 2 that covers the headrest body 1, but may be applied to a headrest cover of a headrest manufactured by integrally foaming a skin.
8. In the above-described embodiment, the present invention is applied to the headrest cover attached to the headrest mounted on the seat back of the automobile, but may be applied to a headrest cover attached to a headrest mounted on a seat back of an aircraft, a ship, a train, or the like.
