Detailed Description
The terms "first" and "second" are used below for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance or implicitly indicating the number of technical features indicated. Thus, a feature defining "a first" or "a second" may explicitly or implicitly include one or more such feature. In the description of the present embodiment, unless otherwise specified, the meaning of "plurality" is two or more.
The floating window is a movable window floating on the upper layer of other applications, and an interface of any application in the electronic equipment can be displayed in the floating window. Electronic devices (e.g., cell phones, tablet computers) can provide a multitasking mode of operation through a floating window. As shown in fig. 1A, a floating window 102 may be displayed on a display interface 101 of the electronic device, and an interface of an application may also be displayed in the floating window 102. In the prior art, the floating window further includes a plurality of controls, such as a maximizing control 103, a maximizing control 104, and a closing control 105, through which functions of maximizing, minimizing, closing, and the like, for the floating window are provided to a user, respectively. While displaying an application (e.g., a taxi application) in the floating window 102, the control 104 may be clicked to minimize the floating window 102 if the user does not need to pay attention to the application for a while. The electronic device can minimize the floating window 102 in response to a user's manipulation of the control 104. As shown in fig. 1B, the electronic device may display the minimized floating window 106. The floating window 106 is the floating window after the floating window 102 is minimized. The floating window 106 may display icons of the driving application.
After the electronic device displays the minimized floating window 106, the electronic device may run the above-described taxi-taking application in the background. When the user needs to check whether the vehicle is driven and the information of the vehicle at the interface of the driving application, the floating window needs to be opened (maximized) again, so that the information of the driving application is checked in the maximized floating window. This interaction is cumbersome and has a poor user experience.
Based on the above, the embodiment of the application provides a floating window display method, which can be applied to electronic equipment comprising a display screen. The electronic device may display an interface of an application (e.g., a first application) in the floating window. In response to a preset touch operation (such as a first touch operation) of the user on the floating window, the electronic device may switch the floating window to a tab, and display indication information of the first application in the tab.
After the electronic equipment displays the first application in the floating window, the floating window can be minimized in a tab mode in response to the touch operation of the user on the floating window, so that other applications are normally displayed, and the use of the other applications by the user is not influenced. Meanwhile, the electronic equipment displays the indication information of the first application in the first tab, so that a user can know the running condition of the application under the condition that the floating window is not opened, a new floating window interaction mode is provided for the user, and the interaction experience of the user on the floating window is improved. In addition, the user can see the running condition of the first application through the tab while using other applications, so that the interaction efficiency is higher; the repeated opening and minimizing operation of the suspension window are avoided, and the operation is simpler.

The software system of the electronic device may employ a layered architecture, an event driven architecture, a microkernel architecture, a microservice architecture, or a cloud architecture. The embodiment of the invention takes an Android system with a layered architecture as an example, and illustrates a software structure of electronic equipment (such as a tablet computer).
The layered architecture divides the software into several layers, each with distinct roles and branches. The layers communicate via interfaces. In some embodiments, an Android system may include an application layer, an application framework layer, an Zhuoyun rows (Android run) and libraries, a hardware abstraction layer (hardware abstraction layer, HAL), and a kernel layer. It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, the Android system is illustrated, and in other operating systems (such as a hong mo system, an IOS system, etc.), the scheme of the present application can be implemented as long as the functions implemented by the respective functional modules are similar to those implemented by the embodiment of the present application.
The application layer may include a series of application packages, among other things.
As shown in fig. 3, the application package may include applications such as floating windows, split screens, gallery, mail, music, short messages, maps, video conferencing applications, and the like. Of course, the application layer may also include other application packages, such as video, bluetooth, calendar, shopping applications, chat applications, etc., which are not limited in this application.
Wherein, the suspended window refers to: and displaying a window in suspension on the surfaces of other applications, and displaying an application in the window, so as to realize the multitasking operation of the electronic equipment.
Split screen means: the electronic device divides the display screen into a plurality of areas, each of which displays an interface of an application. At the same time, the electronic device may split the screen to display interfaces for multiple applications. The electronic equipment can also realize multitasking operation through split screens.
The application framework layer provides an application programming interface (application programming interface, API) and programming framework for application programs of the application layer. The application framework layer includes a number of predefined functions. The sensors may include, among others, touch sensors, fingerprint sensors, pressure sensors, gyroscopic sensors, temperature sensors, and the like.
The following describes in detail a floating window display method provided in an embodiment of the present application with reference to the accompanying drawings. As shown in fig. 4, the floating window display method may include steps S41 to S43.
Step S41: the tablet personal computer displays a first interface, and displays a first floating window on the first interface, wherein the first floating window displays an interface of a first application.
The first interface is an interface displayed in a display screen of the tablet computer, and the first interface can be an interface of a certain application or a desktop of the tablet computer. A floating window, i.e., a first floating window, may be floating displayed over the first interface. The first floating window can be used as a display window of the first application to display an interface of the first application. The first application may be any application in a tablet computer, for example, a music APP, a video APP, a gallery APP, a browser APP, etc., which is not particularly limited in this embodiment. It is understood that the tablet computer may display an interface of a first application in each of the plurality of first floating windows on the first interface.
When a user uses the tablet personal computer, the tablet personal computer can receive the operation of the user and respond to the operation of the user to display corresponding content. When the tablet computer receives an operation triggering the display of the first floating window, the tablet computer can display the first floating window. For example, when the tablet computer receives a preset touch operation on an interface of a first application (for example, a music APP) while displaying the interface of the first application, a first floating window may be displayed, and the interface of the music APP is switched to be displayed in the first floating window. The preset touch operation is used for triggering the tablet computer to display the first floating window. The preset operation may be, for example, an operation to click on a control on the interface of the music APP. For example, upon receiving an operation to click on a particular control on an interface of a music APP, the tablet may display a first hover window. Alternatively, the first touch operation may be a specific touch gesture for the music APP, for example, a double-click gesture, a double-finger zoom gesture, etc. for an interface of the music APP, and the tablet computer may display the first hover window when receiving the touch gesture.
In some implementations, a floating window application may be included in an electronic device. And the operation of the user in the interface of the floating window application can trigger the tablet computer to display the first floating window. Specifically, the tablet computer may display an interface of the floating window application, and the interface may include a plurality of icons of applications that can be displayed in the floating window. The tablet computer can receive a selection operation of an icon of the first application in an interface of the floating window application by a user. In response to the selection operation, the electronic device may display a first hover window and display an interface of the selected first application in the first hover window.
For example, as shown in fig. 5A, the tablet computer currently displays a desktop 500, and according to the operation of the user, the tablet computer may open or close different contents in the desktop F500. For example, when the tablet receives a user click on "application 1" in desktop 500, an interface of "application 1" may be displayed. When the tablet receives a touch operation 501 in the desktop 500 that triggers the display of the hover window application, the tablet may display the hover window application's own interface. Illustratively, the touch operation 501 may be a finger sliding inwardly from the right edge of the desktop 500 and pausing. It will be appreciated that the touch operation 501 may also be other operations, such as sliding and pausing inward from the left edge of the desktop 500, long pressing at a blank position of the desktop 500, heavy pressing at a blank position of the desktop 500, etc., and the embodiment is not limited thereto.
When the tablet receives touch operation 501, the tablet may display a floating window 502, as shown in fig. 5B. The floating window 502 is an interface of the floating window application itself, in which an icon of an application capable of using the floating window is displayed. The application using the floating window needs to be authorized first, and the user can add the application using the floating window, for example, FF music APP, video APP, gallery APP, browser APP, etc. in the tablet computer, which is not limited in this embodiment. After the tablet opens rights to the applications added by the user, these applications may be allowed to be displayed in the floating window. When the tablet computer starts the floating window application, the tablet computer may acquire applications for which rights have been opened, thereby displaying icons of the applications in the floating window 502.
An application (i.e., a first application) that needs to be displayed in a floating window manner may be selected in the floating window 502, and when the tablet computer receives a touch operation for selecting the application, the tablet computer may display the first floating window, and display an interface of the selected first application in the first floating window. For example, when the tablet computer receives a click operation of clicking an icon of the "mail" APP in the floating window 502, the tablet computer may display a first floating window, and display an interface of the mail APP in the first floating window. By way of example, the touch operation to select an application may be a user click operation in the floating window 502, for example, a finger click operation of "mail" APP; a drag operation of the user in the floating window 502, for example, an operation of a finger dragging the "music" APP out of the floating window 502; the present embodiment is not particularly limited thereto.
After receiving the operation of the first application selected by the user, the tablet computer can display a first floating window, the first floating window is used as a display window of the first application, an interface of the first application is displayed in the display window, and the user can operate the first application in the first floating window. Taking the first application as a music APP as an example, as shown in fig. 6, the tablet computer may display an interface of the music APP in the first floating window 601. The user may interact with the music APP through the first floating window 601, e.g., the user may control the music APP to play songs, switch songs, etc., while the user may also interact with other applications (e.g., application 1) under the first floating window 601. When the user operates in the area where the first floating window 601 is located, interaction with the music APP in the first floating window 601 can be achieved, and when the user operates outside the area where the first floating window 601 is located, interaction with other applications (such as application 1) can be achieved, so that multi-task operation of the tablet personal computer is achieved.
Step S42: the tablet computer receives a first touch operation of a user on the first floating window, wherein the first touch operation is used for triggering the tablet computer to display the first floating window in a minimized mode.
When the tablet personal computer displays the first floating window, the first floating window is always displayed on other applications, and the display of the other applications can be blocked. The first hover window may be minimized by the first touch operation when the user temporarily does not need to use the first application in the first hover window. For example, as shown in fig. 7, the touch operation 701 is an operation in which a finger slides upward from the bottom of the floating window 701 (i.e., the first floating window), and the first touch operation may include the touch operation 701, and the tablet may confirm that the first touch operation is received when the tablet detects the touch operation 701. In addition, the first touch operation may be an operation that the user drags the bottom or top of the first floating window to move to the edge of the display screen, or other operations, for example, an operation that the user clicks a minimize button in the first floating window, which is not limited in particular in this embodiment.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, minimizing the first floating window refers to switching the first floating window to the tab. The tab is used for replacing the first floating window, the tablet personal computer does not display the first floating window any more, and the first floating window can be prevented from shielding the display of other applications. The tab after the first floating window is minimized may also be re-maximized and restored to the first floating window after the tab is maximized.
Step S43: and the tablet personal computer responds to the first touch operation to switch the first floating window into a first tab, and indication information of the first application is displayed in the first tab.
When the tablet computer receives a first touch operation (such as touch operation 701), a first floating window (such as first floating window 601) is minimized, and the minimized first floating window is displayed as a tab, i.e. a first tab. The first tab can be displayed at the position of a taskbar at the top of a display screen of the tablet computer and prevented from being blocked by a display interface of the application. Alternatively, the first tab may be displayed on the left or right side of the display screen, or at another position, and the embodiment is not limited thereto.
In an exemplary embodiment, after the tablet computer opens one first floating window to display one first application, another first floating window may also be opened to display another application. Referring to fig. 5A and 5B in combination, the tablet receives a touch operation 501, and a floating window 502 is displayed in response to the touch operation 501. When the tablet computer receives the operation of selecting the music APP from the floating window 502 by the user, the tablet computer may display a first floating window in response to the operation, and display an interface of the music APP in the first floating window. Then, when the tablet computer receives the touch operation 501 of the user again, the hover window 502 is displayed in response to the touch operation 501, and if the operation of selecting the mail APP in the hover window 502 is received, the tablet computer may display another first hover window again, and display the interface of the mail APP in the first hover window. The tablet personal computer can simultaneously display the first floating window of the music APP and the first floating window of the mail APP, and a user can simultaneously use a plurality of applications through the floating window.
It can be understood that if the tablet computer currently displays a plurality of first floating windows, the tablet computer can switch the plurality of first floating windows into corresponding first tabs through the first touch operation, wherein each first tab displays indication information of a first application. For example, if the tablet computer currently displays a first floating window a, a first floating window B, a first floating window C, the first floating window a displays an interface of the application 1, the first floating window B displays an interface of the application 2, and the first floating window C displays an interface of the application 3. When a first touch operation for triggering the minimized display of the first floating window A is received, the tablet computer can switch the first floating window A into a first tab a, and indication information of the application 1 is displayed on the first tab a. When a first touch operation triggering the minimized display of the first floating window B is received, the tablet computer can switch the first floating window B into a first tab B, and indication information of the application 2 is displayed in the first tab B. The tablet may merge the first tab a with the second tab b for display in the top taskbar position.
For example, when the tablet computer has opened a first floating window, for example, a first floating window of a music APP, and the user needs to open another first floating window to use another first application (for example, a mail APP), the tablet computer may minimize the first floating window of the music APP when displaying the first floating window of the mail APP, and display the indication information of the music APP in the corresponding minimized first tab, so that the user can browse the interface of the mail APP more conveniently. If the user does not need to use the mail APP temporarily, the first floating window of the mail APP can be minimized again, and the previously minimized first tab can be switched back to the first floating window of the music APP.
The minimized first tab may display therein indication information of the first application in the first floating window. The indication information may include real-time dynamic information of the first application and functionality controls in the first application. The dynamic information may be information of a file currently opened in the first application, for example, a name of a song currently played in the music APP, a name of a singer, and a playing progress bar; alternatively, the dynamic information may be information of the running progress of the first application, for example, a name of a file currently being downloaded in the application, a downloading progress, a downloading remaining time, a network rate, and the like, and further, for example, a taxi calling in the taxi taking APP, waiting for the vehicle to arrive at a taxi-in point, going to a destination, arriving at a destination taxi, and the like. The function control is a control provided by the first application and operated by a user, for example, the function control of the music APP is "paused", "switched", the function control of the mail APP is "written mail", "inbox", the function control of the communication APP is "sweeping" and so on.
In an exemplary embodiment, the tablet computer may display dynamic information of the first application in the first tab, or display functionality controls of the first application in the first tab. Specifically, the tablet computer may obtain a specific dynamic information of the first application in the first floating window, for example, identification information of the song (such as song name, singer, etc.), and display the specific dynamic information in the minimized first tab. Alternatively, the first tab may be divided into a plurality of portions, and the tablet pc may acquire a plurality of dynamic information of the first application, for example, identification information of the song, a playing progress, a downloading progress, etc., which are displayed in the respective portions. In this embodiment, when the first floating window is minimized, the first application displayed in the first floating window is also minimized at the same time, and the tablet computer may display the dynamic information of the first application in the minimized first tab, so that the user may know the running state of the first application at any time, without opening the first application, which may simplify the operation of the user and improve the interactive experience of the user.
For example, a music APP is taken as an example for a first application in a first floating window. When the user minimizes the first floating window, dynamic information of the music APP can be displayed in the minimized first tab. As shown in fig. 8, tab 801 is the first tab after music APP is minimized, dynamic information of the music APP at this time can be displayed in tab 801, for example, music APP is playing a song, song name "Go Beyond" and singer "Sonna rel" singing the song can be displayed in tab 801. When the song played is switched, the tab 801 displays the name of the song and the artist information of the next song.
More specifically, various dynamic information of the music APP may be displayed in the first tab of the music APP, for example, lyrics of a song, and song name, singer, etc. are dynamically displayed according to the playing progress of the currently played song. As shown in fig. 9 (a), tab 910 may be the first tab after music APP is minimized, and tab 910 may be divided into two parts. Wherein a portion is used to display a control 9101, the control 9101 can be used to display the song name of the song played by the music APP, or the song name and singer. And the display content in the control 9101 is updated according to the currently played song, and when the song is switched to the next song, the control 9101 is updated to the song name of the next song. Another portion of tab 910 is used to display a control 9102, which control 9102 can be used to display the progress of the song played by music APP, which can be presented as corresponding lyrics. The display content in the control 9102 is updated according to the playing progress of the song being played, for example, when the next sentence of the song is played, the portion is updated to be the next sentence of lyrics, and when the number of words of one sentence of lyrics is greater, the portion can be scrolled and displayed. It can be appreciated that the playing progress displayed in the control 9102 can also be presented as the current playing time, such as "1:30", or a full play progress bar, etc. The above dynamic information may also include other information, for example, when the music APP is downloading a song, the dynamic information may include a song name of the song currently being downloaded, a download progress, a download speed, etc., and the embodiment is not limited thereto.
Similarly, when the first tab is used for displaying the functionality controls of the first application, the tablet computer may obtain one or more functionality controls of the first application, and display the one or more functionality controls in the first tab after the first application is minimized. For example, the tablet may select one or more of the most commonly used functionality controls to display in the first tab according to the frequency with which the functionality controls in the first application are used. In this embodiment, the function control of the first application is displayed in the first tab after the floating window is minimized, so that the user can complete some common operations without opening or maximizing the first application, the operation process of the user is simplified, and the interaction efficiency of the floating window is improved.
For example, the music APP continues to be the first application that opens in the first floating window. When the user minimizes the first floating window, one or more function controls of the music APP can be displayed in the minimized first tab. Illustratively, as shown in FIG. 9 (b), tab 920 may be the first tab of the music APP that is minimized. The tab 920 may be divided into multiple sections, each section displaying a functionality control. Wherein, a part of the control 9201 is used for displaying the control 9201, and the control 9201 can provide a function of pausing or playing the currently played song; a portion of the control 9202 is used to display a control 9202, the control 9202 may provide a function of switching a currently playing song; some of which are used to display a control 9203. The control 9203 may provide the function of collecting a currently playing song to a song menu. According to actual needs, the tab 920 may further include other functionality controls, for example, a functionality control for downloading songs, a functionality control for setting a song playing mode, and the like, and the embodiment is not limited thereto.
In another embodiment, the tablet computer may combine the dynamic information and the functionality control, and display the combination in the first tab with minimized first application. In particular, the first tab may be divided into a plurality of sections, one of which is used to display dynamic information and the other of which is used to display functionality controls. Still taking the first application as music APP for example, tab 930 is the first tab after music APP minimization as shown in fig. 9 (c). The tab 930 includes a status display area 9301 and a function display area 9302. The state display area 9301 is used for displaying dynamic information of the music APP, and the function display area 9302 is used for displaying a function control of the music APP. Also, either the status display area 9301 or the function display area 9302 may further include a plurality of controls to display various dynamic information, or a plurality of function controls. For example, the lyrics of the currently played song may be scrolled in the status display area 9301, and the function display area 9302 may include a function control to switch songs, pause or play songs.
Further, when the user minimizes the first floating window, the tablet computer may display the dynamic information of the first application in the minimized first tab, and when the tablet computer receives a preset operation in the first tab, the tablet computer displays the function control in the first tab. And after the functional control is displayed for a period of time, if the user does not operate the displayed functional control, the displayed functional control is eliminated, and only dynamic information is displayed. In this way, either displaying dynamic information or displaying functionality controls can maximize the utilization of the display area of the first tab.
The preset operation may specifically be an operation of touching the first tab by a finger of the user, or an operation of clicking the first tab by a finger of the user, or other operations of the first tab, such as double click, long press, and heavy press, which are not limited in this embodiment.
For example, consider the first application as music APP, with reference to fig. 9. When the first floating window where the music APP is located is minimized, the tablet computer may collapse the first floating window, replace and display the first floating window as a first tab, and display dynamic information of the music APP in the first tab, where the first tab may be shown as tab 910. When the tablet computer receives that the user's finger touches the tab 910, the tablet computer can switch the tab 910 to a function control for displaying the music APP, and at this time, the first tab can be shown as tab 920. When the tab 920 is displayed for a preset period of time, the tablet computer does not receive the operation of the user on the function control therein, and the tablet computer can eliminate the display of the tab 920 and switch to the tab 910. Or when the first floating window where the music APP is located is minimized as the first tab, the tablet computer displays the dynamic information of the music APP in the first tab, as shown in tab 910, and when the tablet computer receives that the user's finger touches the first tab, the tablet computer additionally displays the function control in the first tab, where the first tab may be tab 940 as shown in (d) of fig. 9. After the tab 940 displays for a preset period of time, if the user does not operate the functionality control therein, the functionality control therein may be deleted, and only dynamic information is displayed, i.e., the tab 940 is switched back to the tab 910.
In one exemplary embodiment, the first application may be an application supporting multi-file editing. When the tablet personal computer displays the first application in the first floating window, a plurality of files in the first application can be displayed, and when the tablet personal computer minimizes the first floating window, the current dynamic information of the first application contains information of the plurality of files. The tablet computer can switch the first floating window into a plurality of first tabs, and each first tab displays information of one file. In this way, the user can more clearly know the running condition of the first application, and the user can conveniently perform independent operation on each file.
Specifically, the first application may include a plurality of files, for example, when the first application is gallery APP, a plurality of pictures may be included; the first application may comprise a plurality of documents, etc. when it is an office APP. When the first application supports simultaneous opening of multiple files, the tablet computer may display the multiple files of the first application in a first floating window of the first application, respectively, for example, when the office APP is displayed in the first floating window, the user may open multiple documents in the office APP, such as document 1, document 2, document 3, and so on. In this case, the dynamic information of the first application may include information of a plurality of files, and when the tablet computer minimizes the first floating window of the first application, the first floating window may be minimized to a plurality of first tabs, each of which displays information of one file.
For example, taking the office APP as an example of the first application in the first floating window, when the user minimizes the first floating window after opening the document 1, the document 2 and the document 3 in the first floating window, the tablet computer may obtain information of three documents currently opened in the office APP, so as to display three first tabs to display information (such as names of documents) of the three documents respectively. As shown in fig. 10, when the tablet computer detects an operation of minimizing a first floating window of the office APP by the user, the tablet computer may switch the first floating window to tab 1001, tab 1002, and tab 1003. Wherein tab 1001 is used to display information of document 1, tab 1002 is used to display information of document 2, tab 1003 is used to display information of document 3, and tab 1001, tab 1002 and tab 1003 are together the first tab after office APP is minimized.
In other embodiments, the dynamic information displayed in the first tab and the functionality control may be interactively displayed in other ways. For example, the tablet computer may display the dynamic information in the complete first tab, and when the user touches the first tab, divide the first tab into a status display area and a function display area, so as to display the dynamic information in the status display area, display the function control in the function display area, and when the function control is not operated by the user within a preset period, hide the function display area, and set the status display area in the complete first tab. For another example, the tablet computer may scroll the dynamic information and the functionality control to be displayed in the first tab, that is, the first tab displays the dynamic information for a period of time and then switches to display the functionality control, and the functionality control switches to the dynamic information after displaying for a period of time and circularly displays the dynamic information and the functionality control, which also belongs to the protection scope of the present disclosure.
When the indication information of the first application is displayed in the first tab for a period of time, and the user needs to check the complete interface of the first application, the tablet personal computer can switch the first tab back to the first floating window according to the needs of the user, so that the first application is switched back to be displayed in the floating window, and more operations of the user on the first application are met. Specifically, when the tablet computer receives a specific touch operation in the first tab of the first application, the tablet computer can switch the first tab back to the previous first floating window, so that a complete interactive interface of the first application is displayed in the first floating window again, and the user can use the first application more conveniently.
For example, the touch operation of switching the first tab back to the first hover window may be a second touch operation, which may specifically be an operation 1101 of pulling down the first tab when the first tab is displayed on top of the display screen of the tablet computer, as shown in fig. 11. Alternatively, the second touch operation may be a clicking operation, and specifically, the tablet computer may display a expansion control in the tab, where the expansion control is a control 1102, and the tablet computer may provide the user with a function of expanding the first tab through the control 1102. When the tablet computer detects that the user clicks the control 1102, the tablet computer can confirm that the first tab is switched to the first hover window and display the first application in the first hover window. At this time, the operation in which the user's finger clicks the control 1102 is the second touch operation. It is understood that the second touch operation may also include other operations, such as a double click tab operation, and the like, and the embodiment is not limited thereto.
When the tablet computer receives the second touch operation aiming at the first tab, the tablet computer redisplays the first application in the first floating window. According to the operation of the user, the tablet computer can open a plurality of first floating windows, and each first floating window can display one first application. When the user minimizes the plurality of first floating windows, the tablet computer can display the first option cards respectively corresponding to the plurality of first floating windows. When the tablet computer displays a plurality of first tabs, the user can individually operate each of the first tabs. The first application is taken as office APP as an example. The current opening in this office APP is: document 1, document 2, document 3, the tablet computer may minimize the first hover window for the office to three first tabs. When the tablet computer receives an operation 1101 for the first tab of the document 1 or clicks on a control 1102 in the first tab of the document 1, the tablet computer may switch the first tab to a first floating window, and display the document 1 corresponding to the first tab in the first floating window, so that the user may continue editing the document 1. At this time, the document 2 and the document 2 may continue to be kept in a minimized state. When the tablet computer receives the second touch operation of the first tab corresponding to the document 2 or the document 3, the tablet computer can display the first floating window again according to the second touch operation, so that the document 2 or the document 3 is displayed.
When the user does not need to use the first application, the tablet computer can close the first floating window and close the first application in the first floating window. For example, the touch operation of closing the first floating window may be a fourth touch operation, which may be an operation 1201 in which a finger clicks the bottom of the first floating window and pulls down, as shown in F fig. 12. When the tablet computer receives the operation 1201, the tablet computer may confirm that the fourth touch operation is received, thereby closing the first floating window and stopping running the first application. In addition, the operation 1201 may be triggered at the top of the first floating window, i.e., the operation of pulling down from the top to the bottom of the first floating window.
The fourth touch operation may be other operations, such as a double-click operation on a blank space of the interface in the first floating window, a long-press operation on the blank space, a clicking operation, and the like. For example, the first floating window may further include a closing control, and the fourth touch operation may be an operation of clicking the closing control. With continued reference to fig. 12, a close control, which may be control 1202, may be displayed in the first floating window for providing the function of closing the first floating window. The tablet computer may display the control 1202 in a position to the top right of the first floating window. When the tablet computer receives the click of the control 1202 by the finger of the user, the tablet computer can close the first floating window and close the first application in the first floating window at the same time. The control 1202 may be displayed at a bottom right side, a bottom left side, or the like of the first floating window, and the display position of the control 1202 is not particularly limited in this embodiment.
In the above embodiment, the interaction between the first floating window and the first application is used as a multitasking operation mode in the tablet computer, and the interaction between the first floating window and other operation modes of tasks in the tablet computer can also be switched. The split screen display is used as another multitasking operation mode in the tablet personal computer and can be switched with the operation mode of the suspension window. When the tablet computer receives a touch operation (namely, a third touch operation) of the user on the first application, the tablet computer responds to the third touch operation and can switch the floating window display to the split screen display. The third touch operation is used for triggering the tablet personal computer to call an application corresponding to the first application, namely the second application. Applications in the tablet computer can call each other to perform data transmission and sharing. For example, when the first application is a gallery APP, the gallery APP may perform data sharing with an image editing application (such as a Photoshop APP) on the tablet computer, the Photoshop APP may edit a picture in the gallery APP, and the gallery APP may read the picture edited by the Photoshop APP. The gallery APP can also share data with an instant messaging application (such as a short message APP) on the tablet computer, and the short message APP can send pictures in the gallery APP to friends.
Specifically, the third touch operation may include an operation of sharing one file (i.e., the first file) in the first application to the second application, such as an operation of a user dragging the first file in the first application to the second application. When the tablet personal computer receives that a first file in a first application in a first floating window is dragged into a second application, the tablet personal computer can switch the current floating window operation mode into a split screen operation mode, and switch the first floating window displaying the first application into a split screen display first application and the second application. In the embodiment, the tablet personal computer can be switched from the floating window operation mode to the split screen operation mode, so that the interaction modes are enriched, the limit among different interaction modes is broken, and the interaction efficiency and the interaction experience of a user are further improved.
The second application may be in an inactive state when the tablet receives a third touch operation. Taking the first application displayed in the first floating window as an example of gallery APP. As shown in fig. 13A, a tablet computer may display a first floating window 1301 as a display window of a gallery APP, where the gallery APP includes a plurality of pictures, when a user needs to share a picture 1302 in the gallery APP through a second application 1303 (such as a short message APP), the user clicks to select the picture 1302, drags the picture 1302 from the first floating window 1301 to an icon of the second application 1303 outside the first floating window 1301, so as to start the second application 1303, and opens the picture 1302 in the short message APP. When the tablet computer receives an operation that a user drags the picture 1302 from the first floating window 1301 to an icon of the second application 1303 outside the first floating window 1301, the tablet computer can switch the first floating window 1301 into a split screen display of the gallery APP and the short message APP. At this time, the display screen of the tablet computer is divided into two windows, as shown in fig. 13B, where one window 1304 is used to display the short message APP, and the other window 1305 is used to display the gallery APP, and the user can operate the two applications at the same time. In window 1304, the user may operate short message APP to send picture 1302 previously selected from gallery APP to the buddy. The user can also continue to select the picture from the window 1305 to drag to the window 1304, and send out the picture through the short message APP.
In the embodiment, the tablet personal computer can flexibly switch between the two modes of floating window and split screen display according to the operation of a user, so that the interaction modes are enriched, the user operates the application through a plurality of interaction modes, the data sharing among different applications is simpler and more convenient, the user does not need to repeatedly open and close the application, and the operation efficiency is higher.
It is understood that the second application may also be in an initiated state when the tablet computer receives the third touch operation. That is, a first application in the tablet that has been run within the first floating window may interact with an application that has not been run on the tablet desktop; the first application within the first floating window may also interact with an application already running in the tablet computer. For example, when the tablet computer starts the second application 1303, the tablet computer may normally display the interactive interface of the second application 1303, and at this time, the first floating window is displayed on the interactive interface of the second application 1303. Normal display refers to full screen display on a tablet computer. When the tablet computer receives that the first file in the first floating window is dragged out of the first floating window and in the interactive interface of the second application 1303, the tablet computer can switch the first floating window into the split-screen display of the second application 1303 and the target application. Or, when the tablet computer receives that the first file in the first floating window is dragged out of the first floating window, the tablet computer can minimize the first floating window, so that the normally displayed interactive interface of the second application 1303 is exposed, and the user can browse or edit the first file in the second application 1303 conveniently.
Further, the tablet computer may further display a floating window as a second floating window, and display the second application 1303 in the second floating window. As shown in fig. 14, when the tablet computer has displayed a first floating window 1301, the tablet computer receives an operation of triggering the floating window to display, and then the tablet computer may display a second floating window 1401, where a display interface of a second application 1303 (i.e. a short message APP) may be displayed in the second floating window 1401. In this case, the tablet may still switch from the floating window to a split screen display. Specifically, when the tablet computer receives that a user drags a file from the first floating window 1301 to the second floating window 1401, the tablet computer can switch from the mode of the first floating window 1301 and the mode of the second floating window 1401 which are currently displayed to the mode of performing split screen display on the application in the first floating window 1301 and the second floating window 1401, that is, the gallery APP and the short message APP are split screen displayed.
In an exemplary embodiment, when a first application in a first hover window interacts with a second application, the tablet may automatically display the second application in another hover window (i.e., a second hover window). For example, with continued reference to fig. 13A and 14, when the first application (i.e. gallery APP) in the first floating window 1301 interacts with the second application 1303, the tablet computer may automatically display the second floating window 1401, and display the application 1303 in the second floating window 1401, which may simplify the operation of the user and improve the interaction efficiency.
In addition, when the first application in the first floating window interacts with the second application, the tablet computer can automatically display a second floating window in which an interface of the second application is displayed. Meanwhile, the tablet personal computer can also display the first floating window of the first application in a minimized mode, so that the first floating window of the first application is switched and displayed as a corresponding first option card, only one first floating window is displayed at the same time, the problem that the floating window displayed in a screen is excessively large and is misoperated is avoided, meanwhile, the content in the display screen can be simplified, and the visual experience of a user is improved.
For example, in conjunction with fig. 14 and 15, when the first application (i.e. gallery APP) in the first floating window 1301 interacts with the second application (i.e. short message APP), the tablet computer may minimize the first floating window 1301 of the gallery APP that was displayed before when the second floating window 1401 of the short message APP is displayed. The first floating window 1301 is switched to a corresponding first tab, such as tab 1501. The tablet pc may display the indication information of the gallery APP in the tab 1501, and display the interactive interface of the short message APP in the second floating window 1401.
It should be understood that, in the above embodiment, the floating window display method is executed in a tablet computer, and the floating window display method provided in the embodiment may also be applied to other electronic devices such as a mobile phone, a personal computer, and a wearable electronic device, which is not limited in this application.
